So pentatonix just released their version of this and it’s great, but in your version, the bass line sounds like an actual bass and the harmonies are so perfect! And the high notes are unreal! Keep it up Voiceplay!!

What a miss the most in Pentatonix now is a real bass. Nothing against Matt Sallee's work (he is an excellent bass!) but I really miss Avi Kaplan's voice and its power. Sounds odd to me without him.

I think.. please don't kill me... but this was released before the pentatonix version and it totally sounds like pentatonix stole the bass line from this version and it honestly bugs the hell out of me but it's okay, I love pentatonix but it sounds like they were ripping off voiceplay and they got more credit for it and it hurts my heart.... Anyways, I love both dearly so please don't be mad, this is just my observation though.

Out of the bunch (even the ones with 2+ million views) imho this is the best one so far--it's more than just VoicePlay as backup singer, harmony is great--more arrangements like this, Rachel can do harmony too (better in some cases). With her, the sound is a bit like PTX.

I’ve only recently found you guys out. But i can honestly say VoicePlay are we favourite Acapella group. You’ve all just got a completely different unique aspect to the song. You’re all amazing and talented. I’ve got to say though Geoff is amazing at the bass and also at singing 🎤😍

I'm about 4 and a half years too late, but I finally found the audio error you mentioned in the description! At 1:23 the video shows Eli singing, but that's definitely Earl's voice he's lipsynching to. I'll take those heart hugs anytime... 🤗❤️
Once you got to the chorus I knew this song, I don’t listen to a lot of post 2013 songs unless someone else is playing it as I prefer the 70’s-90’s music but you’ve made me realise there’s some good “today” songs out there, I’ve LOVED all your videos so far that I’ve watched

I don't know how many times I've come back and listen to this, then go and listen to PTX's version... and this is better. This proves to me that when you do set your mind to it .. you can really compete in the new A capella world and make it a 3 group race. Your Moana medley was strong, O holy Night was beautiful, and then this. The question is when will you 5 decide to be a successful group together and really turn up the excitement in the A capella revival .

Luke Roe I never knew how lucky I was... until I realized it wasn't normal to have 😂 but it can be developed over time, I think. I didn't used to be able to sing any note and name it, but now I can... as well as knowing whether it's on pitch or not. I think you can definitely keep at it, and who knows... it may come to ya! 😄
Rachel is hitting a Bb6, not a Bb5!
Cristian Paiva It's a common misperception that octave notation carries over at A, which, if it were the case, would make that note a Bb6. However, octave notation officially carries over at C, which would make that note still in the 5th octave range.
Cristian Paiva She's singing one octave and 10 semitones above middle C, or C4. Given that most singers have to use the whistle register to sing Bb6, I would say that with the power she sings that note with, there is no way that can be Bb6. I have perfect pitch, and I checked it on the piano.

What was that from Geoff at around 0:41 ish? It rattled me to the core (I’m using Skullcandy headphones by the way). His bass sounds amazing through them! Though they are starting to break... sigh. Combined talents of Layne and Geoff... plus sudden high notes from anyone makes them crackle... but it’s worth it... I’ll buy as many replacements as I need to just to listen to this talented group and their friends!
