    Get a non vacuum advance dizzy you really should have one with the twin webers

    I had a uprated Kent, Mk1 Fiesta, made 139 whp with just a XR2 grind cam, had carbon fiber push rods, cosworth valve springs, and retainers, XR2 head with bigger valves.

    Get a non vacuum advance dizzy, especially with side draughts fitted.

    Ideally you want to limit advance with that set up, but you want the advance to come in pretty quick, say by 1100-2500rpm all in...

      It was shit when it was first made. Nobody wanted them. They give lower compression and prone to leek oil. Rubbish

    The Slug of the second spring is normal this has to do with the advance of the distributor

      The problem I had was the timing was flicking around and the dizzy chinking/tapping

    Are you mad? The tapping sound is coming from 'the tappets' its there job to tap away.
    The alloy cover was shit when it first came out gives you lower compression in the head. The one you replaced was perfect.
    You are totally clueless.
    Now what are you doing to the dizzy? Wow
