- Hey guys and welcome to todays video which took me quite awhile to make called the best mini-games in every Mario Party game. It took me so long so go through each and everyone in the franchise to pick my favourites, ones take always appear on top 10 lists and some of your favourites from comments and forums. Unpopular opinion: while I do dislike the Party Car aspect of the game, I do enjoy Airship Central from MP10. Monty Mole is pretty weak, but Kamek’s boss battle was like an easy Cuphead boss and I find it really fun.

The GameCube games were peak Mario Party imo (with an honorable mention to MP2 of course). So many fun games and boards in there, with 5 and 7 being my personal favorites.
5 is generally considered worst in the series lol.

Mario Party 8 and 9 had some of my favourites personally, especially the latter. Tbh, everything in that game was just great. I especially adore Peak Precision and Pit or Platter

Yes that's a great one and I'm good at it. The two mini games that sucked in Super were the 3 vs 1 quiz game (goes for too long) and 4 player guessing game of the vibrations. Hate those two
That minigame is basically golden.
It's the perfect Mario Party minigame. It will never be topped in terms of competitiveness, comedy, and potential for great moments
I just wanna say Get Over It is also a good minigame.
Facelift in both 1 & 2 were always my favorite! Unfortunately in the 2nd one it is not a traditional mini-game, it’s a battle game. Where all players have to wager a randomly selected amount making the stakes much higher. And it’s a 1st-4th placement, where the first 3 split the winnings (more coins for 1st place and so on). But, you only land on these spaces occasionally (maybe 1-2x a game if at all) And with 8 battles games you have a small percentage of actually landing on face lift.
So that always bummed me out.
I think Shock Drop and Roll is super favored in the 3's. You just have to spam jump and you quite literally can never fall off the thing in the first place.
Hexagon Heat originated in 1, but was revised stylistically in 2.
It was called Mushroom Mix Up in Mario Party 1.
When I was younger I used to play toad and go seek on Mario party 9 with my younger sister all of the time. It’s really fun and unique, the only issue being that I played it so much that I memorized all of the house locations lmao
Pushy Penguins has to be my favorite minigame of all time, I can’t think of another game I get more excited to play
Mario Party 5 was released in 2003 for the gamecube, and not much changed at all from the previous entries.
you kidding me? It changed the item system and board mechanics that the future entries would follow up until 8!
Can we agree Mario Party 8 has the best minigame winner theme? (I hate how they made it shorter in The Top 100)
People may not have liked Mario party 9 but they definitely had the best mini games

This was an interesting look back at a series I've been meaning to give another look. You did a good job of explaining why you picked the minigames you did and they all sound like great fun. I only have one minor complaint: you said you would cover 15 installments, but I only counted 14...what minigames would you select from Mario Party: Star Rush?
My favorite Mario Party Minigames are Camera Shy & Boogie Beam from Mario Party DS
11:15 YES, Volleybomb. One of my favourite minigames of the Mario Party series. I see that Copycat has good taste on this point.
Pretty much all the battle mini games in three are badass. I love locked out and stacked deck. Also, the game guys lucky 7 mini game was epic. Best Mario party in my opinion.
I feel like we have different tastes in mini games.
Mario party Ds , 4, and 7 were my childhood 🥺
5 6 7 8 and DS were my childhood 😢
For me, it was all but 1 and 3, and anything that released after DS.

fast food frenzy, camera shy and dust buddies was amazing. they're up there on my favourites.
all geared up was my personal favourite, but camera shy, raft riot, fast food frenzy, hanger management, hexoskeleton, soap surfers, raft riot, cube crushers, dust buddies and Peak a boo were peak. and if you cant tell, i always played singleplayer. so valid opinion.
i liked raft riot so much i put it twice.

Clearly Pink Boos must be destroyed, kind of like how Pink Bob-Ombs and regular Bob-Ombs don't always get along.
In Mario Party 6, you can also herd Pink Boos as Boo in Boonanza.
In MP4, Three Throw is only amazing if you’re player 4 because you have a significant advantage versus the 2nd and 3rd player. I would’ve replaced that with something like Dungeon Duos. That one is straight 🔥

My favourite minigame is from Super Mario Party... the one where you have to photobomb each other, because the one who is most clearly shown in the photo gets the most points. It is hilarious, especially when you play it with three other players and the best thing is, we get to see our photo bombs after each round! I love that minigame ^^

Dungeon Duos is one of my least favorites btw. I never win playing that one.

I was extremely disappointed that he didn't even mention Dungeon Duos. We all know it was one of the best games of all time.

How about the worst Minigames in every Mario Party.
Also, in Mario Party 10, you only talked about two Minigames, but in every other MP you talked about 3. Why?
Mario party 5: literally every 1v3 minigame
Worst minigame: crane game. I hate it

apparently most of NDcube is ex hudson soft members. I might be wrong tho and I dont remember where I got that knowledge lol

Mario Party 9 has one of the best collection of mini-games in the series. I hate how ppl bash the game just bc of the car mode. Dude, MP9 has one of the best mini-games modes ever! + 7 different boards.

I haven't played Mario Party 8 yet but there is this minigame where each player cuts a rope and they are either safe or the spring under them flings them out! Similar to Bowser's Big Blast!
I never noticed how confusing the original box art is, highlighting the 3 of the dice next to the title of the game

Yeah, but it's not as bad as making the Mario Party 8 minigame winner fanfare shorter then the original. It ruins what it unique and awesome!

My favorite super Mario party game is the one where you flip a meat cube. It’s simple but addicting

Mario Party 3: Eatsa Pizza (You try to eat pizza the fastest, that’s cool)
HM: Tick Tock Hop, Toadstool Titan
Mario Party 4: Book Squirm (Literally the greatest minigame ever)
HM: Long Claw of Law, Makin’ Waves
Mario Party 5: Pushy Penguins (A classic minigame through and through)
HM: Coney Island, Bill Blasters
Mario Party 6: Granite Getaway (I’m a big Idiana Jones fan)
HM: Trap Ease Artist, Memory Lane
Mario Party Advance: Shell Stacker (The only one worth mentioning)
Mario Party 7: Fun Run (It has the word fun in its name)
HM: Pogo Gogo, Track and Yeild
Mario Party 8: Shake it Up (Most hate the motion controls, but I love them so much!)
HM: Wing and Scare, Aim of the Game
Mario Party DS: Hanger Management (You ride on a hanger, genius!)
HM: Soap Surfers, Dust Buddies
Mario Party 9: Goomba Spotting (Ik it’s simple but addictive)
HM: Tackle Takedown, Peak Percision, Manor of Escape
Island Tour: Gyro for the Gold (A maze obstacle course race, WOW!)
HM: Buzz a Fuzzy
Star Rush: Rolls for Moles (I just love Monty Moles a lot)
HM: Parkour War
Mario Party 10: Bob-omb Combo (Do I even need to explain?)
HM: Bowser’s Fire Bar Blast
Super Mario Party: Sizzling (I constantly play this game all of the time)
HM: Rattle and Hmm, Isthmus Be the Way, Don’t Wake Wiggler

I have not watched yet but my favorite minigames in island tour is squish you were here. And my favorite in DS is dust buddies. Also why no star rush or the other hand held one besides the top100

One time I was playing Mario Party 8 with my family, and we ended up playing flip the chimp. We spent like 10 minutes trying to have one of us get to the top.
Sizzling Stakes, Take A Pancake... Super Mario Party has a lot of good minigames in it as have other Mario Party games before it.
Mario Bandstand, Crazy Cutters, and Bumper Balls in the OG Mario Party are my favorites.

You chose the worst ones of island tour =( what about that one when you had to imitate the voice of a character through the microphone, it had me laughing so hard everytime
i know due to the corona its hard to play mario party lately so i encourage everyone to go ahead and try Mario Party netplay, or play the game through parsec online with friends, very fun experience

Lol the mini game Shock Absorbers off of Mario Party 7 you have to start off slow lol then you start to go fast up left right (when the right and left lights glow you hit it when the up light glows you use your head). then it reverses and sometimes it tricks you and cheats then when the shocker alarm goes off you have to duck and lol once you get shocked you’re disqualified it’s an 8 player mini game man lol mostly everyone gets disqualified. 😂😂😂
