Watch the exclusive interview of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar at India Today Conclave 2023. Union Minister of External Affairs delves into the nuances of diplomacy with war, markets, and mega power shifts in focus. India Today hosts what can be termed as India's new voice in the world.
Union External Affairs Minister (EAM) Dr S Jaishankar, while replying to recent statements made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, on Saturday said it was troubling as a citizen of India to see "somebody drooling over China". The EAM's remarks were made at the India Today Conclave in New Delhi.
Responding to Rahul Gandhi, Jaishankar said, "When Panda huggers try to be China hawks... it doesn't fly."
EAM Jaishankar also responded to Rahul Gandhi's allegations of India "being scared of China". "Rahul Gandhi talks admiringly of China and describes the country as 'harmony', he says China is the greatest manufacturer and says 'Make In India' won't work'."

Whole lineage of so called Gandhi family right from Nehru is stupid, but that stupidity didn't surface due to fine control over media , where dumb questions were being asked from them to divert attentions, but now the social media age engaged people and gave them freedom to ask questions which make sense. Now people are able to recognise organic leadership from synthetic leadership which was forced down to Indians. I hope people of India keep voting for such organic leadership.

I am huge fan of PM Modi and some of his awesome policies as well. But just most of his policies, not all of them. I am not an "andh bhakt". I have my own objective and rational view over various national issues.
I just believe that instead of doing politics over religious lines, over ram mandir, over gauraksha, etc won't build those deep strengths. The most basic aspect a government must take care of is that of educating the masses. With the boom in our population, the main aim must be to reap the benefits of the demographic dividend. Educated masses won't be swayed by the pity political issues any more, instead would force the people in power to do much better work - creating a +ve feedback loop permanently sidelining these pity issues from politics.

I think more than being interlocutor between Ukraine and Russian officials, India must set up a permanent mechanism to solve this issue which affect s almost the entire global community.. The longer this continue s, India will lose and China will gain.. US also will gain.. Russia will lose out vis-à-vis with China.. We cantbtrust USA with their Pak Afg connect..
Better we solve this War or get the parties to a negoriating table..
