Great Video! Just FYI - it’s pretty easy to catch all the Chain Pickerel you want in Upstate New York . Just get your gear and when you’re at the water you’re about to fish , Loudly declare “ I can’t wait to catch some big Bass !” 😅
I love Little Creek. Got me a boat last year and have been fishing it for Bass. Still learning how to fish it cause I mainly fish rivers but having alot of fun there.
Thank you for the pickerel video. I live in the mid-Bay area of the Chesapeake. I target pickerel in the tidal creeks of the Chesapeake and in Eastern Shore ponds throughout the fall and winter. Our tidal pickerel largely disappeared in late 2016 but have returned in excellent numbers in late 2019 and throughout 2020. Can you tell me what caused their scarcity for several years, and how did they come back so quickly? Finally, given that I am once again catching mature 20 inch plus fish, not just young ones, where were those larger fish during the lean years?
