Hi Karen....I recently taught an Art class using napkins....an easy way to separate the last layer is to use a small piece of scotch tape on the back of the last ply you are trying to remove....I came up with this hack purely by accident but share it with other artists all the time.

Well of course she turned out absolutely gorgeous! And a great way to use up some napkins. My boy had "baby" which was a lamb, and "bunny", I still have them, and sniff them. I remember when bunny's carrot became unattached and he just cried and cried. They went everywhere with us. He's now 21. Your text really made me smile. Thanks for sharing!!!❣

Karen, you always, always brighten my day and make me laugh. You are so bubbly and have the best personality. I loved this lesson because I am obsessed with napkins!!! She is gorgeous!! Thank you so much. Don't forget, you have a date with Bunny!! 😁 That is so precious. My daughter is 34 and still has the baby blanket I made her. She would cover her arms with it and I told her it was going to fall apart from washing it so now it's draped over her chair. 😁 She has her teddy bear, Timmy Mark that she got when she was 4 yrs old. He looks the same. Her daughter wanted him and she said, I will give you most anything but not my Timmy Mark. 😁 He is part of the family and named after her Dad who passed away when she was in High School. She will never let go of that bear. Have a blessed weekend Karen and stay safe. 😁❤

I love it!!...but we've got a bit of a problem. Every video of yours I watch, I want to do it!!...and since I am moving, I should also take care of packing. But no, I don't pack, I don't clean, I don't even do dishes too often. I secretly wish they disconnect my internet so I won't be able to go on youtube to get ideas from you...lol. Hi Karen. After using napkins for cards, canvas, wood, etc. I place parchment paper over the napkin and use a small craft iron on top moving it around. Takes the hassle out of gluey fingers, etc.

I had no idea that 1000 people participated in the Stabilo-All challenge-- that was seriously FUN and an amazing VALUE and it gave me a sense of community for a NY minute- which I didn't know I needed until I was a part of it... and for once in my life- I experienced an art supply behaving for me as promised by the teacher- I can't deny that I was so sure that Karen was skilled with it but little did I know that the water soluble nature of them thar magical-like pencils are everything Karen said they would be... INCLUDING her point to buy them by the dozen... I couldn't afford it but then once I was actually using one and saw how fast I was sharpening it down to the quick... I realized, "Always, listen to Karen, she knows what she's talking about!"

I really did enjoy that Stabilo All challenge and I got lucky cause Jerry's Art O Rama sells the Stabilo All by the single...and in my area it cost me under $2 so it was a good price to try it for the challenge but I soon found out why getting them by the dozen makes more sense! I totally get why you love it so much.

I've used one of those roller things - brayer - to smooth out wrinkles too. Or even just a plastic card. PS I used to love sponging acrylic paint for backgrounds in altered books.
