I never liked magic that much till this program, now I am amazed at the skill it takes to do these tricks. Knowing how they are done makes magic more interesting. I wish they would bring this show back.
Lots of creative engineering and construction goes into it for sure! Also welding and metalworking, electronics, and more. Even fashion, sewing, and fabric work! (Especially with quick-change acts becoming more popular.) I can't remember who said this quote, but they say that Magic Shows are 5% magic, and 95% performance. :)

that water trick is too dangerous. i held my breath while watching, like Skinner told us to do, but because i didn't have trained medical experts here with me, like the masked magician did, i died.
You do realize that’s Mitch Pileggi from the X-Files! I remember one time he kinda broke the 4th wall when he said “Then again I’ve read the script” during the Passing Through Steel Container Illusion!
Okay I waited and took a moment to clear my body of movement took deep breaths and did it again this time I lasted 54 seconds I'm trying it again I want to just get to 1min maby more probably not more than a min though
@@babayaga1988 you’re right but I think this one is different. This guy moves slower/different, has different assistants and is a bit bigger than Valentino. I could be wrong but I’ve seen both versions of this show and I can see significant differences in the magicians
I've noticed that the actual "masked magician" is a little on the overweight side...the black is slimming and hides a bit of this but you can tell. That being said I don't think the guy in the water tank was the usual masked magician, he appears a bit more fit. I could be wrong though...but just an observation.
It's the assistance that really deserve a lot of credit. They have to stay skinny because they have to fit in all those tight spaces. Their outfits have to be form-fitting so that they don't have any clothing get caught potentially be injuring themselves. Not to mention they do most of the work and stand up on stage being objectified by men
The host is infatuated with those girls. Some of the comments he was saying I hope you didn’t have a girlfriend or wife or he’s gonna be in some serious trouble lol
The narration is so damn irritating. Pun overload. Plus, the freaking obvious, he stands here, he holds up this, he walks here, Skinner we can actually see him.
