I love reading the comments bashing the narrator as if he's riffing. He's reading a script written by the writers of the show, just like an assistant helping the magician with his tricks.

This is one of a few shows lasting for over 42 min. that we could enjoy & appreciate its entirety w/o being interrupted its continuity by those irritating ads ( or adverts in the UK ). The assistants revenge is the one trick I actively dislike, since it's always so clear how it works. Always the same trick, always the same solution. "How does she escape? She just takes a step backwards."
Anyone else remember that this guy was controversial at the time? A lot of Magicians claimed he was nobody and I remember when he unmasked himself I was like who?
Except he was literally a pretty famous magician who used to tour all over the world. Other magicians were just pissed that he revealed a lot of tricks that have been used for decades and centuries.

actually at the flower magic, if you look very closely when they are about to make the ending pose, you can actually see that the original flower was stuck to the girl's back.
Funny thing about the reanimating fly trick at 7:26, larger animals like hamsters can also be frozen solid and reanimated. One of the first microwave ovens was built as an experimental device for thawing hamsters to reanimate them (the microwave was safer than toasting them).
On occasion, esp. after having dealt w/ all the stress of daily life, I enjoy watching & appreciate the revelation of those magic tricks that have been tabooed for a long time. The real magic is coming up with an illusion, practicing the trick over and over to get a seamless performance. My dad was a magician who had amazing close up magic skills. He never told me how any of the tricks were done

Last trick, while good, it never seemed like he was sticking his hands through the blades. It was always obvious once the lights came back on, he was somehow standing in front of the blades. Still ingenious though, the execution.
Now I understand why the magician needed the assistants. 😅 Or else during my teenaage times, I was confused why all his assistants were acting so sexy. 😅😅
This particular episode was extremely easy to figure out... I actually managed to guess all of them 90% correctly without even thinking too much... Especially the last one, it didn't even look real.
The announcer is a liar. He says it is a real Bomb Squad truck, borrowed from the local police, it is not. He says the fly is dead, but it is not. I hate it when magicians lie.
Just show the truck and let the audience make their own assumptions. Illusion is when your eyes are used to fool your brain. Deceit is when you lie to make someone belief something that is not true. Deceit is evil. I am a professional magician - I never lie to the audience. It's fun to be fooled, but no one wants to be lied to.
The magician did a Jesus there, back to life from the dead. Maybe Jesus was a magician after all, the wine, the fishes, the death show then BAM back from the non-livings...

That one girl that trades places with him is hotter than Hades, makes me wish I was a magician for real! She kind of appeared to be enjoying the part where he was restraining her but whenever they traded places she got really happy I don't think I would mind trade places with her too much either since I don't have any harsh intentions hope she doesn't either LOL

Not a fan of revealing magic tricks. I have this friend Vinny who's obnoxious with it, like we went to a magic show and this poor magician, every time he made something disappear, Vinny jumped on him. I mean, he nailed him! It was like, "it's in his pocket", or "he's palming it", you know? Or, "there's a mirror under the table." I mean, he was like, he was like, "wait a second, wait a second, it's joined in the middle, and there's a spring around it, it pops it open when it's inside the tube." It was like Alakazam's worst nightmare. Vinny was just being Vinny. He was just being the quintessential Gambini.
It's one thing to want to know the secret of a magic effect, and go out get a book to obtain the knowledge. Just as in this Masked Magicians revealing most popular illusions. If anyone doesn't want to know the secrets, don't watch the show. I agree on the fact if a professional magician is performing, no one in the crowd should be rude and reveal the secrets.
The real magic is in the performance, if the magician performs the trick well, then no one will care how the trick is done. One of my favourite magicians is the duo Barry and Stuart, the comedy they bring elevates their tricks, some of the tricks might seem simple but when they bring the humour, you won't care how it's done.
If the magician uses covers, it is not magic. It is a trick. If he does not use covers and the object just vanishes, then that is magic. Just commenting.
It's to make you realize how often the "lovely girls" are important, our mind is played to look at them and not the details or the magician. Men and women alike are watching the girls moving around. But if you do not like it, why are you watching OR cut the volume. And it's damn funny when, as I do, you perfectly know the effect obtained that way. It's part of the distraction too.
A comment here and there is one thing, but the reason people bring up the narrarator's corny, pervy script so much is obviously because he makes a comment about the girls literally every 20 f@#king seconds. And I hate when morons say, "Or you could just mute it", you try watching a show or video like this on mute and we'll see how much you like it, when your stupid ass can't understand or follow anything because of zero sound. 🙄 And it's not wrong to want to watch this show minus all of the corny commentary. The only thing I do agree with is that the girls are indeed a distraction technique...

The assistants revenge is the one trick I actively dislike, since it's always so clear how it works. Always the same trick, always the same solution. "How does she escape? She just takes a step backwards."
Assistance revenge is a silly title as the magician wasn't forced into the contraption. They switched willingly 😂

Especially the last one, it didn't even look real.
The announcer is a liar. He says it is a real Bomb Squad truck, borrowed from the local police, it is not. He says the fly is dead, but it is not. I hate it when magicians lie.

I have this friend Vinny who's obnoxious with it, like we went to a magic show and this poor magician, every time he made something disappear, Vinny jumped on him. I mean, he nailed him! It was like, "it's in his pocket", or "he's palming it", you know? Or, "there's a mirror under the table." I mean, he was like, he was like, "wait a second, wait a second, it's joined in the middle, and there's a spring around it, it pops it open when it's inside the tube." It was like Alakazam's worst nightmare. Vinny was just being Vinny. He was just being the quintessential Gambini.
It's one thing to want to know the secret of a magic effect, and go out get a book to obtain the knowledge.
Just as in this Masked Magicians revealing most popular illusions.

I agree on the fact if a professional magician is performing, no one in the crowd should be rude and reveal the secrets.
The real magic is in the performance, if the magician performs the trick well, then no one will care how the trick is done. One of my favourite magicians is the duo Barry and Stuart, the comedy they bring elevates their tricks, some of the tricks might seem simple but when they bring the humour, you won't care how it's done.

It's to make you realize how often the "lovely girls" are important, our mind is played to look at them and not the details or the magician. Men and women alike are watching the girls moving around. But if you do not like it, why are you watching OR cut the volume. And it's damn funny when, as I do, you perfectly know the effect obtained that way. It's part of the distraction too.
