My brother & I grew up watching this show A LOT. This is what got me into loving magic as a kid & even did some of the simple tricks like the toothpick one & the rope one. Whenever I come back & watch these videos, I feel so much nostalgia.

But when Copperfield did it there was no "wheeling the stairs around" the great wall, sooo did he just have an identical twin or what thats gonna bug me.
The stalling tactics done by the double and the stage hands would likely buy Copperfield enough time to go up and over via a ladder, lift, or any number of other tactics. If the only thing they have to fool is the camera, he easily could have just slipped out with the crew there and snuck behind camera to make his escape.
HQ is "high quality". Before HDTV (720p and 1080p) were a thing in TV telecast, TV used to telecast content in 480p, which is the HQ resolution that is being talked about here.
One thing I failed to understand as to why the Mask Magician is exposing the trade secrets of his profession(he could had been offered heavy amount for the revelations but despite that). It will certainly loose public interest in this game which understandably will ruin the lucrative business of all the Majicians.
The Masked Magician (Val Valentino) has said that he did this series to provoke the forward movement of magic in the time of the internet. Where he has revealed one trick, there are like 6 more different ways to do the same illusion according to David Copperfield.
He unmasked himself and told his story - that he wanted people to see the truth and hopes it helps to increase interest. This was my childhood! It made me so interested in magicians, I even have a 50 trick guide now! ❤
i forget which one of his tv specials it was but david copperfield made a masked magicain joke during his show!! he said "and if the masked magicain is watching this illusion tonite he can kiss my @$$!!!"...then he continued with the illusion.

But when Copperfield did it there was no "wheeling the stairs around" the great wall, sooo did he just have an identical twin or what thats gonna bug me.
There was a camera on a crane going over the wall in one of his "continuous shots", seems most likely that he was hiding in the crane.
The stalling tactics done by the double and the stage hands would likely buy Copperfield enough time to go up and over via a ladder, lift, or any number of other tactics. If the only thing they have to fool is the camera, he easily could have just slipped out with the crew there and snuck behind camera to make his escape.

HQ is "high quality". Before HDTV (720p and 1080p) were a thing in TV telecast, TV used to telecast content in 480p, which is the HQ resolution that is being talked about here.

One thing I failed to understand as to why the Mask Magician is exposing the trade secrets of his profession(he could had been offered heavy amount for the revelations but despite that).
It will certainly loose public interest in this game which understandably will ruin the lucrative business of all the Majicians.
