Chris Angel is actually infamous amongst magicians...because he often does relatively simple 'gimmick' tricks, but just spices them up as if they're something new. 3/5 of his tricks in this vid are stuff you buy in a magic shop, one of them is just a basic editing trick, and one of them is an old CARNIE trick.
they are just mad that he's famous. People always get upset at success, gatekeeping what they think magic should be. Magic isn't real, never has been and his live illusionist show is great.

Those were pretty lame tricks since everyone knows there is only one way how to do these tricks. You dont need explanation like "There is a platform in the water" or "There is a hole in the glass" or "fake legs, he really did not cut those people in a half".....
It all makes sense. Maybe you can go see his live show and explain how he does all of those things without cameras or film to edit.
Fr I went to the live show and I genuinely still was boggled even after seeing the explanations because if you can rearrange razors in your esophagus naturally you probably deserve my money 😂

True magicians can do their tricks on the spot without needing 6 hours to create the effect. However that split in two trick would be impossible without paid actors, this is what we call TV or Movie magic which is far different than actual stage magic.
I believe he is an artist and doing it to amuze us..that makes him clean.

Now I say this as am amputee myself (missing half my left leg) I'm not real sure about the optics of using an amputee's disability to scare children and generally freak people out, we have enough problems getting others to treat us like worthwhile human beings, using someone as a literal prop makes me uncomfortable. However, if the amputee gets paid generously and is cool with it I can't really say it's wrong for them to take that job because jobs are harder to come by when you are disabled and in a wheelchair.

Notice some of his more not so easily figured out tricks aren't explained here. Not saying they're actual magic, or supernatural but I suppose that's why he's considered one of the best entertainers, because he cant be figured out sometimes, like Dynamo, Yif, David Blaine, etc

I knew the trick "splitting in half" works with two people before the reveal. The first woman had a flat belly when she layed down, but when the camera got back to her and Criss Angel put his hand on her belly, there was suddenly a little bump.
