Thank you so much Brian for uploading this quality video the hours I spent at Canton train spotting as a kid is beyond belief. So.many memories have come back watching this thank you keep them coming.
Great video, brings back many memories. Thanks for uploading. The UID 47 at 1:16 looks like 47150 - that was in the original shades of triple grey but in the later RfD style. Cheers Andy
Thanks very much for the mention Brian, what a Gem of an upload this is...I loved every minute of it, and it brought back so many memories from the past. Thank goodness this has been uploaded and giving us the opportunity to see this unique footage at Cardiff Canton...Regards...Bob
Thanks very much Bob , Can't believe how time is marching on,I will be uploading the rest of my South Wales series bit by bit including a double Dvd on the Rhymney Valley. Cheers for now
This video, Brian, has brought back so many childhood memories of my train spotting days in the 80's & 90's seeing all the old liveries. Fantastic video mate. I've subscribed to your channel and will check your other videos out with interest keep them coming buddy
I've just looked a a few minutes of your DVD Mike as a taster and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of it when I can get uninterrupted time in front of the UHDTV via TH-cam! Looks superb as usual!! Cheers. Ken
hi mate, that was great watching. you must have had a great time filming all that !. i wish it was still like that near me. down to two roads and just passenger traffic. (no fun at all) enjoyed a lot. cheers TOM
I worked at the depot for 23yrs and used that bridge 100s of times....its gone now supposedly because of a fire well maybe but Pullmans weren't a very good neighbour to the depot and they REALLY didn't like the bridge being there...
The bridge is gone now...They said it was because of a fire making unsafe but ive a suspicion it had more to do with Pullmans always complaining about it being a right of way for the depot
Dorian Lane hi I will check if I have any left as I don’t produce them any more, Ian Allan used to sell them for me but probably haven’t any . I will let you know....thanks Brian
