The Taff Vale Line from Cardiff

This is video i filmed from 1993 on onwards of the Taff Vale Line from Radyr Northwards featuring Abercynon ,Radyr Taffs Well Pontypridd,Aberdare including class 37s,56,60s and of course inevitable class 66 and sprinters.
Also features scenes inside Radyr Quarry Signalbox in its last years of operation.

I still cannot belive that after 30 odd years I started up on trains again and look at this and find me and dad walking onto radyr platform. Back then I was into trains we used to go down there every so often and also watch the blue 08 that used to work the yard. Absolutely mind blown.
