Trains at Cardiff Central, SWML - 22nd September 2022

Hello and welcome to have just joined this channel, and to those who have subscribed to me for a while welcome to my latest video.
On my final day of my break away in Wales, and to finish it all off I went to Cardiff Central, as they pronounce it in Welsh ( Caerdydd Canolog ). This station is hub for Transport For Wales, and service seen are Transport For Wales, Great Western Railway, , Cross Country
It's epic station, it has so much to offer there. So many trains come in and out every minute, many different tractions, there some freights, GWR HST Class 43, & Hitachi Class 800, Turbos 166 / 165 & 158, there lot of TFW 150, 769, and a few pacers around. Also there are plenty of turbos 170 & 175.
The views looking towards Canton Sidngs & The Vale of Glamorgan Line is fantastic, also the curve line on Bristol & Cardiff Queen Street is great.
Station exterior kinda reminds me of Clapham Junction & Southampton Central.
I've had the most brilliant day and most certainty the perfect end to my time away.
Will defiantly be returning back here in the future.
I did but of extra filming day after, I was at Cardiff on my way home and has I bit of waiting time for my train back home, I thought I do quick film of Class 43 as I didn’t filmed it leaving on Platform 1 and filming it on Platform 3 side. As I heard apparently the Castle sets are retiring, I thought why not as I may not get that chance again.
