Great reaction video! It was a good fight, lots of heart by Kelly especially coming close to a knockout at the end! In terms of videos, more reactions to fights especially fighters with different skill sets (TKD, BJJ, karate, wrestling etc) would be great as well as training with and sparring with your brother

A little background of at least what I know of STREETBEEFS, it started as a way to get street fights off the street, and let people settle their differences in a safer and more controlled environment. From there it got popular, and with that the quality of fights and fighters went up. To your point of why they don't do professional MMA, I know of at least one previous regular in their cage that actually got a UFC contract, so it might be a place for people with less resources to get experience and some publicity at least on TH-cam

Hey Nat would it be cool if you did a video trying out some indoor or even some outdoor bouldering? As a rock climber and black belt in karate I see many similarities in the way we train our bodies for the 2 seemingly very different sports, particularly in stretching and flexibility. I try to do an even amount of each sport per week or so, and I think that the sports compliment each other very well. Love your content, by the way!

The problem with street fighters is that they are mostly using brute force and rely on their weight.
They can be extra swingy or somewhat technical.
The reason why the talk about martial arts being useless, is because they never actually encountered someone who is truly powerful.
I was teached the way of hand to hand military combat by major, I only hope his doing alright.
All that "street fighting spirit" crumbles after they are hit in the balls, poked in the eyes and thrown to the ground.

Street fighters can fight very well and are resourceful quick thinkers. They only lack above mediocre mastery of techniques. Like street fighters cant throw an overhand very well but know lots of different punches. They juggle knowledge instead of placing them down one by one making them just below a martial artist. Knowing 15 different high and low kicks but falling down after each one isn't a good thing.

    • @OwO-yj2kr
      @OwO-yj2kr ปีที่แล้ว +7

haymakers aren't effective... There's a saying in boxing, "you go wide, I go inside". Wanna know why? Because when people come and throw haymakers you step in with a hook or uppercut and they're down.@@alexferrana3979

6:56 Yes you can choke them out you just cant hit them or grab them in the back of the head. a ref will sometimes step in though if it gets too dangerous.
As a woman Streetbeefs has always been better than UFC/MMA because men and woman are treated equally and can fight each other for tittle with out issue. I tried to wrestle in HS but was not aloud to compete because there were no other girls in my weight class! I started hanging out with a group of people who were regularly going to The Scrapyard and I always wanted to go. It was the only combat group where I've ever felt welcome.

King of the streets is no rounds no rules underground fight club that apprantly operates worldwide though most of there fights are in europe
they allow things like eye gouges, spitting blood in oppenents eye, trying to kill your oppenent, etc
most of the fighters on king of the streets are either criminals who did mma but do to there lifestyle had to do this instead, supremascists, anarchists, etc
king of the streets is known for being very brutal since they have zero rules and are epic
though most of the fighters there usally are very injured after there fights and since they dont allow tap outs since they only stop matches when they think someones gonna die and heck someone could even be knocked out but they will still continue till they feel like something tragics gonna happen and someone might die

And I've done time in prison. I've seen most kinds of street fighters there are, and I'll say it like this: Can you rely on UFC champions coming from the streets? No. Can you rely on a normal person getting their shit stomped by a decent street fighter? Yes. Pound for pound, street fighters can usually bang it out more than you'd expect. A lot of them grow up fighting against people who are bigger, stronger, faster, more popular, better fed, etc, etc.

man it's not about the technique it self, but the timing to use that technique in the right moment

If you can time something like a push kick effectively then you can create distance with an opponent that's trying to close in
