I used to be a diver at the sheriffs office I was a water/swift water rescue and recovery diver although I don’t dive anymore (I had to prematurely retire due to medical condition) but this is my dream watch they can keep their Rolex but for me I’ll take the frogman from Casio all day long!!!

This frogman, by far, is the most complete features built-in. in my opinion, as GShock fanatics and SCUBA Dive Instructor, CASIO needs to consider to make new frogman series with one more featur: dive algorythms. And by doing so the frogman would transform into a functional dive computer.

For daily wear, personally I'll go with GWF-1000 only. The watch face design match really well with the bezel shape and that makes it look more rugged than the D1000. It is also more affordable to most of us to be worn daily.
No. I don’t dive. This watch is basically a dive timer with built in compass, depth gauge and thermometer. Not a dive computer. What makes it good is that how tough it is. If I’m a diver, I’ll bring this alongside a dive computer due to how reliable it is under any harsh circumstances.
This sensor frogman made all the previous model looks like a toy & the size sits in between old & new rangeman perhaps 🤔 slightly bigger than gw😺9400 👍
LCDs look great on those Frogman. But the yellow Frogman’s LCD looks better than the rest. Casio would ever cover the Frogman’s beautiful case back with the Carbon Core Guard seen on GG.B100?
The G on the dial only appears on cities where the multiband time sync is available. There should be an option to make it visible at all times where the antennas are not present. The watch looks like something’s missing.

Yes, their used market price is dropping! Great options if you don’t mind the size. The price is roughly the same as the GW5000 series now. It has extra feature and just feels tougher.

Yes you can. The setting is default to Celsius if 'home city' setting is set tot Tokyo. Change this, and then measuring unit/format setting will be available.

Yes. Which model do you have? Typically you go to the receive screen and hold the bottom right button for a few seconds and it'll start the manual receiver function
You only need to received the wave signal from the Multiband 6 function for that G to light back up. If you didn't get that signal then, the logo will be gone.

You can fill up a long pipe with water to test 1 meter. You can also make a underwater pressure chamber to test all your frogmans

I never tried to actually use those function but I don't think we could do that with this model.
Unfortunately, that is not possible. This watch could only save 40 different data log. You need to manually record them to different device.
