Oh my goodness! That vintage Jingle Bells Golden Book is one of my all-time favorite picture books, from when I was a little kid, (in the 90s)!! Hubert the horse actually sparked my fascination with, and love for horse-drawn vehicles, which in turn lead to my learning to drive and train real life harness horses when I was a little bit older! That book is such a wonderful memory for me, and I'm so happy you found a copy and are enjoying it too! ☺🐎
I have a little collection of Christmas-themed Little Golden Books, including Jingle Bells! I'm pretty sure the illustrations in the book are by Richard Scarry, who drew zillions of kids' books in the 50s-70s, with animals doing all kinds of things in full clothing. 😀 I have a larger book by him called The Animals' Merry Christmas, which is adorable and definitely worth keeping an eye out for. It was a gift to me as a child.

IT MAKES ME FEEL "HAPPY"😊 IN ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS, YOU WERE COOKING FROM THE 1953 RED CHECKED BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS COOKBOOK. I REMEMBERED THAT I HAD MY MOTHER IN LAW'S BOX OF OLD COOKBOOKS ON OUR GARAGE. I WENT THROUGH THEM AND FOUND HER 1953 EDITION OF THE BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS COOKBOOK. I WAS SOOOO HAPPY. IT HAS A BIT OF A MUSTY SMELL FROM BRING IN OUR GARAGE. I HOPE I 😮CAN GET THE MUSTINESS OUT OF IT.

Your Christmas tree shaped plate is a Lefton canapé plate/ cookie dish. I have a colourful set of little forks. They're very useful for fishing up pickled things from tiny jars. Like pickled herring and olives!
Oh my gosh! My little sister got the Avon snowman when we were kids! I don’t remember what I got but the snowman was so cute!
Ooohhh... what a great thrifting haul! That ceramic Christmas tree dish is wonderful, those little forks are the cutest thing ever, and boy... those Hallmark cookie cutters could almost be tree ornaments all on their own, they're so cool! Nicely done Anna!

I think your Home for Christmas potholder might have been from Mervyns circa 1987ish. My parents’ wedding anniversary was in November and my dad bought Mom a set of Christmas dishes as an anniversary gift that year. The pattern looks very much like your potholder! I also gifted my mom a set of throw pillows with that pattern. We use the dishes all November and December.

I do not have a lot of Chanukah decorations - of course I have my menorah (that my mom gave me as an anniversary gift years ago), a few table linens that a co-worker gave me, some melamine plates that I use for latke service, and some stuffed bears that have a menorah in their hands. I also have some things that my son made in school and I put them out every year. This year I found garland at Bed Bath & Beyond, some salt and pepper shakers, and a soap dish for the powder room. I was thrilled to find them. Can't wait to put them up.

I love the placemats, they brought back memories of my great aunt who had a tablecloth made of the exact same material. I have a similar one, but I like that one more! I have collected many Christmas children's books over the years, many hard to find. I put them on a small table near the tree, it makes a nice little display. I love everything Christmas, these videos are so fun!

Well you and I would be BFF’s for sure! The vintage cookbook collection, vintage Christmas and I might have 3 sets of the mini forks because they are so adorable! Still loving your videos as I’m randomly selecting some to watch each night!
