I would sell the damaged Polish pottery anyway. Some people just collect it and put it on a shelf. As long as you disclose the damage, let them decide.
The problem is when things with cracks are jarred in shipping. They completely shatter so it could be possibly sold in a booth, but they most likely break unless they are professionally repaired.
Our kitchen is all Polish Pottery. So beautiful. Yes, it is heavy but rarely breaks. Going shopping in Poland is one of my favorite memories of Europe. Looks like you had a wonderful day 🌻
It's nice that you pick things up that are in a wide range in price because some people can't afford the real expensive things and we want to buy things from you too and this way we are able to❤😊
I lived in Germany and worked at a polish pottery store along with personally going to Poland to shop for polish pottery. There is no “name” per se for patterns. Americans make them up mostly.. UNIKAT is the high end hand painted by an artist.. very valuable
I think the weirdo bird at the end is actually a dish that sits on you kitchen sink to hold your dish scrubby. Love thrifting for profit and learn a lot from your videos 💕
In future, if you notice those grey lines forming when you wash it pop it straight in the oven at around 100 degrees. This evaporates the water quickly and will lessen the chances of leaving a stain. If the water is dirty it probably won’t work as the dirt will be trapped. Worth a try. Won’t repair the damage but will reduce the look of the damage. I used to be a porcelain restorer.
I live beside Portmerion here Shropshire as I border Wales, you got a really fantastic bargain there, as it's soo expensive their pottery and glassware xxxx
3:58 love the shirt ❤that’s special 4:36 the polish baking dishes are precious 13:07 even if you’re not making a ton of $ on each item - you’re getting a customer you might not have gotten or maybe you’re getting a return customer
I absolutely love this video. I remember when I first started watching you, you were the reason I started selling vintage. You taught me sooo much! I love how you explain in detail in this one why you picked up what you did, it was awesome!
Yes, same w/ me also 😊 Before I'd watched you, I'd have said, what's the big deal over glassybabys? My how the passage of time has changed my outlook. Love it!
All of that Polish pottery is absolutely amazing and well worth the price, even the damaged one. I'm sure a Potter could repair it so it can be used. Love every single piece you picked up and I would have a hard time selling it because I would want to keep them all!
I appreciate how you let us know how much you paid for an item. End of the month will be 2 yrs of selling on eBay & I wouldn't have ever even contemplated it without you. Thank you for teaching me Soo much about what people like & love.❤
I had an experience with getting a whole set of Port Marion as well!!! we grabbed it up so quickly and I think it’s when my top five favorite things I ever bought in excitement
I got here a little late and I get the voiceover due to the noisy store. But I love the Jocelyn who talks like we are a friend shopping with her. This seems like you have someone directing you who doesn't get it. You made it great all these years and I hope you stay you! If someone is saying you need to do this or that tell them to go away lol
WOW, that Polish Pottery is absolutely Beautiful !!! I would love to find some like that & all the little items were very nice !!! Laurel is such a doll baby, she keeps getting cuter & cuter all the time !!! Precious baby !!! ❤️🙂
hello , was that a glassy baby , sitting next to that first piece . great haul.........every good girl , deserves days like this😊😊😊😊😊...............thank you , for sharing🥰🥰🥰🥰..................
I am a collector since 2019 of Polish Pottery but not familiar with two of the patterns. Did see Unikat on bottom. The grey & red is a newer pattern. Polmedia Pottery will show you all patterns. That first one undamaged is a beauty. I have that pattern.
The bottom of the one is to damaged to use BUT not to display. All so beautiful. Lucky girl! And all the people hating on your video the day before yesterday must of loved this video. I did. I do ceramics and one of the women there is from Poland and collects Polish pottery. I traded her a Polish pottery (which she collects) mug for one of her mugs that she makes in her own style of Polish pottery. I'm using it today ☺I also have about 4 vintage casseroles (including one from France with birds on it) and am thinking of starting a collection. Loved this video...loved your family. Hope you had a great family getaway.
The “blue celestial flowers” pottery is by artist Jacek Chyla. amerheritage shows the large covered roasting dish sold for $365. The second dish is by Maria Starzyk and the pattern is called Polish Wildflowers.
There are still so many ways the damaged Polish pottery could be used. Obviously as a beautiful display piece, but one could also place a towel in it, and serve rolls from it or they could wrap their silverware in cloth napkins and pile them in there someone might even want to sit some candles and or florals to create a centerpiece… lots of possibilities . All that to say, if you’re not going to keep it, you could still definitely sell it and make a profit
Kia Ora Jocelyn, huge score..HUGE!! 🤗 Yay!! I would find places for every one of those items in my home.....instant collection (even the weird bird creamer). You did a great job with the new format. Nga Mihi Jocelyn.
If you and your husband happens to get back to ohio stop by my house I have a building full of glass, ceramic, pottery set up in my building will make a good deal on what you want, it's 25 years of collecting vintage items, we recently down sized from 3 bedroom house to a 1 bedroom house bedroom house
While holding the bird "weirdo" I had to pause the video to get a close look at your nails. OMG the tootie fruity is amazing!!! Your nail person definitely understood the assignment! She ate and left no crumbs. (I'm 41 and these are things my teen has taught me to say, lol.)
I would sell the damaged Polish pottery anyway. Some people just collect it and put it on a shelf. As long as you disclose the damage, let them decide.
Agreed!
Agree! I would just use it for display cause it’s gorgeous!
I agree! It is a beautiful display piece.
Can you imagine how wonderful that collection must have looked in its owner's home?!!! 😊
Agree! As soon as she said she's going to sell the lid and the dish was too far gone, I literally cringed. Much too gorgeous to chuck in the garbage.
I’m one of those people! Those patterns are beautiful and uncommon
I think people would by the piece with damaged bottom. It could be used for bread or other non liquid items. Or just display. It’s so pretty.
The problem is when things with cracks are jarred in shipping. They completely shatter so it could be possibly sold in a booth, but they most likely break unless they are professionally repaired.
Your polish pottery napkin holder is a current design..I collect it! The pattern is silk cotton tree. LOVE all of the polish pottery!
The pottery could be a great display piece
Our kitchen is all Polish Pottery. So beautiful. Yes, it is heavy but rarely breaks. Going shopping in Poland is one of my favorite memories of Europe.
Looks like you had a wonderful day 🌻
I don't usually leave comments....but Laurel's antics and expressions while you were holding up the weirdo bird creamer, had me rolling!!
They were so good. Haha. She is a very expressive child.
I had to go back and watch it again to catch it. 😂
The tree figurine in the very beginning made me think of the book THE giving tree. It is a heartfelt classic.
It's nice that you pick things up that are in a wide range in price because some people can't afford the real expensive things and we want to buy things from you too and this way we are able to❤😊

Polish pottery is just beautifull❤ You could easily sell the broken one as a display piece. It's too pretty to use for food anyway😊
The Polish Baking dishes are beautiful. I love how you don't mind paying up for beautiful pieces. Hi Laurel and Juliette.
Love, Love Laurel's top knot. Her hair is so beautiful.
Such a well produced video Jocelyn. Great job. I love seeing the Portmerion.
I live beside Portmerion here Shropshire as I border Wales, you got a really fantastic bargain there, as it's soo expensive their pottery and glassware xxxx
I watch a lot of videos but is the first time I hear you say had to get a second cart 🛒
3:58 love the shirt ❤that’s special 4:36 the polish baking dishes are precious 13:07 even if you’re not making a ton of $ on each item - you’re getting a customer you might not have gotten or maybe you’re getting a return customer
While holding the oil diffuser your nails matched the color pallet perfectly! No wonder you loved them so ❤
I noticed that too! Must be why I liked it so much. Haha.
Enjoyed your haul immensely, the portmarion soup tureen was stunning!
I absolutely love this video. I remember when I first started watching you, you were the reason I started selling vintage. You taught me sooo much! I love how you explain in detail in this one why you picked up what you did, it was awesome!
Yes, same w/ me also 😊

Love that you are wearing your friends t shirt..😂
All of that Polish pottery is absolutely amazing and well worth the price, even the damaged one. I'm sure a Potter could repair it so it can be used. Love every single piece you picked up and I would have a hard time selling it because I would want to keep them all!
That 2nd piece of polish pottery was stunning
You might be able to get the utensil scratches off with a magic eraser. Its worth a try.
I would just sell the whole thing , even though it is cracked, people use them for display only or even for crafts 😀
Talk about a great haul! Lots of terrific finds. Thanks Jocelyn! 👍🏼
I appreciate how you let us know how much you paid for an item. End of the month will be 2 yrs of selling on eBay & I wouldn't have ever even contemplated it without you. Thank you for teaching me Soo much about what people like & love.❤
Wow those are gorgeous covered dish’s. You were lucky.
I visited portmerion last week, great place to go if you ever find yourself in north Wales 😊
I had an experience with getting a whole set of Port Marion as well!!! we grabbed it up so quickly and I think it’s when my top five favorite things I ever bought in excitement
I was just at that Goodwill last week. Found a Blenko water pitcher, Rookwood early 1900’s Z line vase, and lots of other goodies! Magical!
Those Polish pottery pieces were BEAUTIFUL!
I got here a little late and I get the voiceover due to the noisy store. But I love the Jocelyn who talks like we are a friend shopping with her. You can clean silverware marks off dishes and mugs with metal polishing cleaner.
The purple glass next to your first pickup looked like a Glassy Baby!😊 beautiful items!!
I was screaming at the screen to flip over the glassy baby!!! lol
The napkin holder is a pattern called Evening Blossoms. Can't find the napkin holder but the large belly coffee cup sells for around $35.
Love the bird pieces, the last but not least was my favorite. Thanks for sharing.
That Portmerion is a total score! 🌺🌸🌹
Love the polish pottery and your dagny shirt
The cracked polish pottery dish will still sell for a good price bcuz I know I would want it for display not for use. Loved this video!
Love this hybrid of shopping, hauling, hauling tc. Learned a lot.
There is a store for the Polish pottery in Seguin, TX. The price for current covered oval dishes is more than $25. You found a bargain!
I call the smaller profit items my "bread and butter" sales because, like you said, it all adds up.
There is a store at the Court of King of Prussia Mall that sells products from Poland. They have an extensive selection of pottery.
I am a collector since 2019 of Polish Pottery but not familiar with two of the patterns. Did see Unikat on bottom. The grey & red is a newer pattern. Polmedia Pottery will show you all patterns. That first one undamaged is a beauty. I have that pattern.

Special video!! Thank you so much for your energy!! I loved it!!
The dishes are all beautiful......and so is Laural......her hair is precious.......
My sister bought a great set of polish pottery when she retired. It is beautiful 😊

I enjoyed the editing and combo of this video. You made some great purchases
Thank-you!
Love how you put this video together!
A friend who collected Polish pottery told me that unikat means one of a kind. They are very collectible.
I agree with selling the damaged piece. Personally, I use my old turtle tureen as a place to hide things .
This video format you did this time flipping back and forth between in store and voice over is really great. Hope you do more of this!
Wow those are absolutely beautiful
Love the magical music when you say it. It's like going on a quest. :)
Purple glassie baby at 1:20
Yes, I saw it too. I was reading the comments to see if anybody else saw it. Sure did look like a Glassybaby😊
She said on another comment that it wasn't.
I came here to see if was the only one to see that😂
I'd love to see a sold video on this. ❤
Avondale Goodwill is still my favorite even though it is extremely hit or miss. I’ve walked out with a cart full and I’ve walked out empty handed 😂😂😂
All of my everyday dishes, etc are Portmeirion Botanic Garden, I absolutely LOVE the patterns! Will you be selling yours on eBay or Niknaks?
If you and your husband happens to get back to ohio stop by my house I have a building full of glass, ceramic, pottery set up in my building will make a good deal on what you want, it's 25 years of collecting vintage items, we recently down sized from 3 bedroom house to a 1 bedroom house bedroom house

Love this video.specially Laurel Love for daddy.
I’m just seeing this video and I thought I saw a purple glassybaby next to the first thing that you picked up
I would buy the cracked dish. It’s beautiful. It can just sit on a shelf or It could be used for a flower arrangement!!

YES !!! 👍🏻 👏🏻👏🏻 🙌🏻 😁Love it
Please give a step by step to explain how you get to the auction. Thank you.
The first Polish Pottery is a popular pattern & should have Unikat on it which makes it expensive.
I’m glad you picked up that dinnerware. I wish someone would pick up my set, Evesham Vale by Royal Worcester. Replacements charges $90 a plate!
I think it's wonderful that you include your kids
This was such a fun video I loved the format and appreciated you sharing your knowledge with us and teaching us at the same time
I agree. Nice job, Jocelyn! Always reimagining & evolving. 👍
Wow, what a great hall! I so enjoy shopping with you, satisfies without filling the house up further. Thank you for your videos.
I really enjoyed the format of this video, please consider doing more.
Thank-you. This format takes a lot longer to film and edit, but I like the production quality a bit more.
You should totally use the broken dish for succulents
Loved the new style of this video! Excellent work, Jocelyn! Incredible haul! 🤩❤
I liked this format! Something different.
