It was interesting hearing about your experience growing up with all males and having girl children. I had the opposite - I grew up in an all girl family but had male children. My experience was one of discovery and learning, both directly and vicariously. I found their lives interesting and novel, different from my experience growing up.

My all girl children are different to me as well and 2 are autistic too
