    Correction at -20:15: I said Epson 7710 is not a good printer. I stand corrected as many reviews seem to like that one. I meant the smaller one in my mind Epson 2750 that needs to be converted. We didn’t have the best experience dealing with the converted cartridges for daily long term use. We’d need to restart and reboot them a lot. Things have evolved and improved with technology since then as this was in 2016 we used that setup. So I’d check some more printer reviews online before making your final purchase! 👌🏽

    Thanks for the motivation, been sitting on too many supplies and some times feel too scared to start testing cause I don’t want to waste anything but that’s a great point that I’m really wasting money by wasting time!

    I'm still new to sublimation and started off with the ET-2720 printer, because I didn't want to mess with the cartridges of the 7720. I already had a 15x15 Fancier Studios heat press to start off with as I was doing vinyl t shirts. I just recently upgraded to a 16x24 Fancier Studios heat press as it has been good to me and haven't had no issues with the brand. I am looking to upgrade to the F570 to print bigger product, so hopefully in the next few months is my goal to get it.. thank you for all the info and advice you all have been providing, very helpful.

    For the athletic sock jig, it covers size M/L/XL, correct? I am baffled to why the sales page for the socks say printable area of 4.25" x 7.5" for the L and XL socks, but 4" x 7.5" for the Medium. Why the difference for Medium? I'm needing to figure out if I need to adjust artwork for the different sizes.

    • @SilkySocks
      @SilkySocks  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For the medium we cut the jig down about a quarter inch. However we don’t sell a separate jig for medium. So you may cut it down yourself to 4” wide. Or just use the same jig as the L/XL. Either way would work and I’d do what you feel brings about a better result.

    I love this! I would buy some boxers but $13? Wish they were cheaper

    • @SilkySocks
      @SilkySocks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The $13 is retail pricing on blanks. However if you setup a wholesale account on our website it will be 50% off that price! Easy to get setup an anyone can apply: silkysocks.com/pages/silky-socks-wholesale-application-form

    I see people spraying polycyclic/water on 100 percent cotton shirts to sublimate do you know of any downsides to doing this?

    • @SilkySocks
      @SilkySocks  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We stay away from this as we only like to deal with sublimation at it’s purest form on white polyester. But yes I’ve heard of this and Personally I don’t like the end result all that much

    It is other solutions if you can’t get a laser printer it’s sublimation paper that works for regular inkjet printers and it’s mini heat press you can purchase that works against sublimation items you do not have to get these he’s saying to do a sublimation job it’s other TH-cam videos that show you other options for those who can’t or don’t want to spend extra money

    • @SilkySocks
      @SilkySocks  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can hire free lancers to make artwork for you. Another great way is purchase designs from fb groups, websites or artists that specialize in that!
