I can’t believe that she went back to Woodbury after finding out that the Governor tried to have Michonne killed and after Rick and Hershel implied that he assaulted Maggie
Dicknotized is what I prefer. :P Also - she likes drama I think. She screwed Shane KNOWING Shane was fugging with Lori (and Rick was embroiled in that drama). The Governor had that hot brunette girlfriend when Andrea showed up - who knows what happened with her. She just stopped appearing and the Governor was then banging Andrea.
Andrea turned on her friends. That's the reason in a nutshell. She stayed with the Governor even after she spoke to Rick et al. That's the main reason she was hated.
@@torridd She never turned on them. She was under the delusion that maybe she could prevent the war from within Woodbury. Because she cared for both Woodbury and the Atlanta group. But she never turned on them. My biggest gripe is just her inability to assassinate Phillip. That and the plot induced stupidity of her taking twenty years to escape the chair she was tied to lol that said, let’s be real -> Michonne is the reason the prison group was discovered. Prior to that, Phillip had marked the prison as part of a “red zone”. Man was legit shocked to hear that a group managed to take over the prison. If Michonne never left Andrea, there would’ve been no conflict. And Michonne probably would’ve been able to assassinate Phillip in the long-run more effectively.
Yup. Then the whole "Oh you think I can't??!" part when Glen is wanting to go down into the tunnels and didn't want the group behind him jamming him up. He said to rick "not you, we need you here because of the gun" then he looks at Andrea "not you either" and she replies with "oH you THiNk I cAnT." I knew she'd be super unlikable her very first scene too (pointing the gun at rick) and then everything past that basically just proved it.
When Andrea shot Daryl just to “show off” her sniping skills, not to mention putting everyone standing near him at risk of being shot, I was convinced that Andrea was trash.
@@lamargordon6017 it was her first time. She was a great shot. To shoot that far and actually hit something requires some sort of skill in shooting that she didn't have yet.
Comic Andrea is goated, but TV Andrea had her potential wasted. Even her actor called out the writer for writing her off too early when she was supposed to have a few more years in her contract. As for my opinion on TV Andrea, she is a mixed bag. Loved her bond with Shane, but am mad that she didn't let Michonne end the Governor.
Yep. Her character was terrible. She was a massive disaster in every step. Didnt know when to stop, always trying to prove herself, never able to stay in her lane. The type of person to get everyone around them killed.
@@TheRealCaptainGold she kinda did, yea. I mean hell, she herself nearly killed daryl in her typical ‘look at me guys! I can do it too!!’ way. Her inability to recognize danger, and not knowing when to stop is part of the reason the governor was able to get as far as he did with the group. Constantly in the way, as per her usual.
@@hi1is she also saved the group several times. One could make the argument that everyone has gotten someone else killed, either directly or indirectly.
@@rF-Phenom Michonne is responsible for the conflict between Woodbury and the Prison. Phillip would've never found Rick's people if not for Michonne, as he had marked the prison as part of his "red zone" The man was shocked to find out, from Merle, that a group managed to clear the prison. If Michonne stayed with Andrea, proved to her Phillip was evil, and then assassinated him AFTER she earned his trust, no one would've needlessly died. Andrea never got anyone killed. Can't say that about a lot of characters, including some of the GOATs.
it's not the fact that she's a woman. we all love maggie, michonne, rosita, tara, etc. it's the fact that Andrea LITERALLY goes out of her way to make incorrect decisions and then gets uptight when people call her out, tell her different than what she feels, or try in any way to care about her well being.
and when dale took he gun because he wasn't comfortable with it and shane backed dale up with a logical reason, she gets mad and then nags dale for taking her gun every chance she gets
It is. Shane slept with his best friend's wife two seconds after he thought he had died and then tried to assault her even after his friend came back. Drunk or not, that's messed up. If he was a woman, he would have been hated for that. He was ten times more dangerous and unlikeable, and he is celebrated and loved by many people because he was "right." Give me a break.
Honestly, i think her character makes sense if she was significantly younger. If she were 18 to 21, her actions and choices line up with the impulsive nature, naivety, and aggressiveness in many situations she finds herself in. Really, so many people and myself included find her so annoying that her actor is forty years old and so is her character, so she should be way too old to be acting like this.
This. When I found out comic Andrea was in her mid twenties, her behavior in season three made sense. Young people make those types of stupid decisions all of the time.
I loved Andrea in the comics she was one of my favorites and honestly I really loved her and Rick’s conversation in the Jewelry store and felt like it was setting up their future relationship well. But I do feel like she made some silly mistakes like wasting precious ammo on a “Walker” which turned out to be Daryl who fortunately survived. She also had some downs when she fell for the governor, but she eventually saw through him. Just a damn shame she died due to writers giving into hate from fans. Overall, I prefer the comic, but I don’t hate Laurie Holden as Andrea and she did a good job.
Honestly its a shame the writers gave into killing her character off because she was hated, a good tv show can have characters you hate it makes it more colorful that way if you know what I mean
@@fallynshayeto be fair they did that for a lot of characters work them to be annoying or hated and then redeemed. Just unfortunate they didn’t do that with Andrea but again guess they had nothing to do with her since her character was broken up and given to other characters
@@susanw1863 I know I would've loved to see how she would've helped taking down the saviors and the wolves etc. At times she had really good combat and survival skills and I'd like to think she would've given Rick more of a smarter way to take down the saviors or at least put her input out there
I think people hate Andrea because not only is she a try-hard who's try-hardness gets people hurt, but she is also absurdly naive and set in her ways, independant to the point of arrogance despite not really being good at anything. So much so that she will completely ignore the people around her that she trusts the second she thinks she is right and will ignore facts and proof over whatever feelings she may be having.
Let's not forget she left a suicidal Beth alone with a knife after being asked if she can watch her. Not only did she lie but she took it upon herself to do it her way because she "knew" better than everyone about being suicidal. Lol
The last straw for me was when she shot Daryl. It cemented her to me as an incredibly irresponsible person. After multiple "don't shoot it, we're fine" she still decided to take a shot, wich makes a ton of sound first of all, ut also does it when multiple people are near Daryl, wich is very dangerous, especially since she is not a well versed shooter at this point. She acts like Carl, wanting to prove her worth to the group, but ends up almost killing a member of it. Plus, Carl is a kid, she is a fully grown adult, wich begs some questions about her decision making skills.
That whole scene was her trying to be like I’m a strong independent woman I can handle this I don’t need the men to do it even tho they are about to do it 1000x better than she could if it was standing right in front of her this is a dumb feminist moment
I knew from the second she says to Rick what don’t think I can like really that’s where we starting her character a dumb quote like that only someone who probably couldn’t do the task would say to try prove a point that women Are stronger than men uhhh they arernt you cry about facts but they true
rewatch that episode dude. Daryl looked like a walker coming out of those woods, nobody called to Andrea to tell her that it was safe until after she took the shot. It was early on when even one walker was still a pretty big threat to the group as well. 9 times out of 10 any reasonable person takes that shot. EDIT: not to mention that she was on over watch duty so it was LITERALLY HER JOB to shoot walkers coming to camp...
@@liamoneil973 no need to rewatch. When Daryl comes out of the woods, Rick says to Andrea to not shoot, and Shane says to her that they will handle this. She takes the shot when Rick, Shane, T-Dog and Glenn are within meters of Daryl and talking to him. Doesn't take a degree to see that the 4 of them are not taking fighting stances and that the walker has stopped, well, walking, wich is not typical behavior.
I never realized that the Prison group would’ve remained undiscovered, if not for Michonne running away from Woodbury. Ironic how her inability to see the real Governor would’ve likely saved the prison from discovery, if not for Michonne.
Michonne didn't knew about them or any Prison so I don't blame her for that but they should've stuck to the script, len Andrea take over Woodbury and kill Philip, that would've saved Prison for the longer time period, but we wouldn't have met Abe, Rosita and Eugene, Aaron etc. 🦋 effect I think Woodbury and Prison would've found their way to each other one way or another
Andrea didn’t deserve the hate in the beginning but she sure did after she ditched Michonne for the stupid governor. It doesn’t matter how good she was trying to be, people died. Herschel was killed because she didn’t do what needed to be done. She knew that dude was a monster. She just didn’t want to prove Michonne right.
sure maybe she was annoying in the beginning but that all could have been forgiven if she grew from it and did some cool things, she didnt and thats why people dont like her lmao
@@TomTheeShield Yeah. I was so disappointed in her at the end. Especially when all the signs were kicking her in the face about the Governor. I get it that she was happy to find someone but when you see they are pure evil, you gotta know when it’s time ta go and get out. It was a waste of a good character.
Exactly!!! She really didn't have common sense, street smarts, wasn't OBSERVANT and she was disloyal to someone who repeatedly saved her ass more than once
@@naturallynailah6983 Yep. Not only Michonne but Rick had been saving her as well. He and Shane both protected her and taught her how to protect herself. They were like her family. To even stay for one day after she knew the governor was trying to kill them all was such an infuriating slap to the face. Rick was so nice when she was dying. I would have stepped over her body and gave her an I told you so as her goodbye. 🤣
She fucks up every single scenario she gets into and everytime someone tells her the truth she blindly decides to not listen to them and continues to make the same stupid decisions, I really don't know where people are getting the likeable character in the TV show because I've never found it
I loved the earlier Andrea because of what she lost & how she survived & pushed through it. What made me hate her so much were those exact red flags you mentioned. I nearly smacked my TV wanting to smack some sense into her for all that she was letting pass by her. She had a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to end The Governor & she doesn’t take it. She says that Michonne turned them against her but like Michonne says she just couldn’t see the illusion & was just under his spell. His men tried to kill Michonne, tortured Glenn, violated Maggie, & you still want them to live together with him?? I wish she was still apart of the OG group! Her in Season 5&6 would’ve been interesting!!
i agree! did i find her annoying sometimes sure but I dont mind being annoyed if the character grows, learns, and contributes(either as a hero or villain)
I was with you until you called all Andrea haters incels.I guess I, a married female who didn’t like Andrea at first, is a red pilled incel who’s never seen a vagina. (Funny since my husband liked Andrea) Now I’m wondering if you are only giving her a fair chance because hating women characters=bad.
I made a similar comment just now but you beat me to it. I don’t have any strong feelings about Andrea either way, and he also convinced me that the hate directed toward her may have been unjust, and then he came out of nowhere with that random viewers a stupid or you’re an incel comment like.. what? If it was supposed to be funny, it was hard to tell, since some people actually do think like that.
Here’s a cookie for being the not-like-other-girls outlier - the fact remains that the MAJORITY of her haters likely are in the incel women-hater category
@@cuca_ Why does not liking andreas character make u an incel tho, i hate laurie way more but my fav character in the whole show is carol. I dont think its that people hate women, they just dont like how her character is written in the show.
This was a really good analysis and I was in agreement with a lot of what you said. Then you hit the “everyone who disagrees with me is an incel” conclusion. You don’t have the right to call anyone else stupid.
I do actually have that right. And to prove my point, I didn’t call everyone an incel. The kids being butt hurt about the incel comment are basically outting themselves lol there was a dichotomy there; a great escape rope.
@@TheRealCaptainGoldshe was complacent with the sexual assault of Maggie…. And you defending someone like that makes you a moron Edit: it’s funny you left that out and only called it a kidnapping
@@TheRealCaptainGold Well the point is you are wrong, its stupid to say not everyone who hates Andrea is an incel. Its a smooth brained thing to say. Explain the logic.
I heard that the original ending to the Woodbury storyline would have had Andrea take over from The Governor, either from a coup or whatever and she would have stayed behind at Woodbury helping it and its people rebuild. Andrea definitely has the knowledge and skills to be a leader, she was a civil rights lawyer so she’s studied law and knows how to conduct fair trials. She and we were robbed.
Accusing people of being Incels because they don’t like a female character you find sympathetic is a quick way to lose points in an otherwise well thought out argument. It’s not like it’s only men that hate on Andrea, either, so what was the point of that? Do the women who don’t like her fall under the “fucking stupid” category instead? Or are they incels to you, too?
If they hate the character, then yeah - likely in the stupid category. If they dislike her, okay cool. But hate? Yeah. Stupid. I had a poll a while ago about female characters and I had a ton of comments literally saying sexist things about women being incapable of leading (and other stereotypical misogynistic beliefs). Go on Reddit and it gets even worse. The claim that many might be incels isn’t unfounded. I’ve been in the community long enough to know a portion of it is exactly what I claim it to be. I don’t know why it’s so shocking to some of y’all. The character gets a level of hate that isn’t justifiable when compared to many of the male characters that people love, who have done much worse (and stupid) acts. There’s only two reasonable ways to explain that. People are either being incoherent or they have issues with women.
I had only finished S2 when I first heard that people disliked her and was like "lol wat why?" I found her interesting and thought her flaws and mistakes were very realistic and made sense for her. Flaws make actual good characters since they then have room to develop (though it does matter how those flaws are presented). Some people seemed to really hate her for shooting at Daryl and while yes it was stupid of her to take that shot while other people were already going to take care of the "walker", that mistake (i.e. the need to contribute, the need to prove herself) was very on par with her character. Plus she quickly acknowledged her mistake. During S3 I also didn't blame her for staying in Woodbury. I mean, she had just been sick and maybe could have even died without their help, she and Michonne had been living the hard life of scavengers constantly on the move, and now she's suddenly presented with a place that is safe and comfortable, a first "steady" place after the farm, a true reminder of how things used to be, a place in which she can once again truly feel like she's needed... and all Michonne has to say about it is "this place is fishy, just trust me bro". Like thank you so much for calling this out cuz there's way too many people who seem to think Andrea should be a mind reader! Bruh, no, you need to give her something more than that! hit her with the freaking details! The fact that Michonne apparently remained tigh-lipped about herself during all this time she and Andrea spent together only gives more reasons for one to think like "Oh it's just Michonne being suspicious loner again." And while her instincts had apparently served them well before, this is a place like nothing they had seen before and it's also something Andrea WANTED to believe in, therefore it takes more to convince her otherwise. Yes there were some major red flags Andrea then stupidly chose to ignore. Like when Michonne told her that the Governor tried to have her killed after she left... there's like no excuse for it except for blaming it all on Merle acting individually (did they actually blame it on Merle? To Andrea I mean? Can't remember.) But anyhow, the hate on Andrea... I get some of it but a lot of it indeed seems uncalled for.
Not listening to michonne a more hardened and seasoned survivor who saved you and helped you survive a whole winter warning you about CRIMSON red flags coming across evidence of a demented and dangerous man but ignoring it ignoring when your old friends tell you hey this guy tried to kill and SA some of us shooting daryl for no reason trying to be the “Other governor” at woodbury having just arrived she got aloooot of reasons to be hated😂
Andrea spent nearly all of season 2 being cocky and sitting on the rv just because she learned how to use a weapon. Didnt have the common sense to hold her fire when a full group of men stop, put their weapons down, and exchange words with a wounded looking daryl. When they are normally known to put down walkers quickly. Her lack of perception in front of the governor was pretty bad too. Like daryl said, OBSERVANT. She shouldve looked it up. I think my main dislike for her is more the stark contrast between her show and novel counterpart. Book Andrea was *certified* badass, actually demonstrated contributing to the group and rarely made stupid mistakes. I was mostly just dissatisfied with what they did with the character.
It’s crazy how I’m rewatching the show as I stopped after Rick flew off the bridge so I’m catching up and your videos are hitting always the timing is jus perfect lmao
@@XThink-hl6gvjust because you like a character everyone else dislikes doesn't make everyone else sexist. you saying people are sexist for not agreeing with you says a lot about you
@@richardekdahl7804 It definitely says a lot about their emotional maturity, that’s for sure. Same for Captain Gold. It’s a shame too, because like OP he almost had me and then undermined his own argument.
@@richardekdahl7804 Well, it depends on the person. I agree with Cap. The hate is either unjustified (stupid) or it’s from the incel fan-base. There are male characters who are loved who were objectively worse than Andrea in almost every aspect. Yet they are graded on a curve. And pointing that out seems to have ruffled some feathers. Y’all focusing on the incel comment and ignoring that he said it was either incels or people just being stupid. Pretty much proving his point. Like notice how no one has actually engaged with the substance of what he’s actually argued.
@@XThink-hl6gv But I agreed with everything else he said. How is that not “engaging with the substance of his argument”? Again I actually like Andrea’s character and I wish they didn’t kill her off so early.
Shot Daryll for no reason (doesn’t matter if she thought he was a walker. Even if he was what she did was still stupid and she did it for no reason.) she continued to try to work things out with the Governor knowing how evil he was. She also had a chance to kill him early on and didn’t and thanks to her the Governor got to do evil stuff. So I can wholeheartedly say I felt overjoyed when she died. I was like “we finally don’t gotta deal with that annoying ass girl anymore.”
Not as evil as what he did to Michonne in the comic, tying her up kneeling and raping her for days while his second in command listened outside the door, or holding down Rick and cutting his hand off the first time they met, when Rick was lost and looking for help with Michonne and another guy.
Has it not occurred to you that a lot of the hate could also be from fans of the comic who are pissed off about the butchering of one if it's best characters? Clearly not, it's either stupid people, or stupid incels in your view. And why do you think that? Because you fall into the first category.
Just trust me bro should be enough from a trusted friend, especially one who’s saved your life before Andrea didn’t listen after he tried to kill michonne. Michonne walked away because Andrea had already left her.
I never cared much for her but after this assessment I totally have changed my view. I think the fact that she’s always accountable for her mistakes is such a huge thing that many people can’t do, and I have so much respect for that.
Andrea and Henry are one and the same. Survivors with pure as hell intentions who just chronically made poor decisions. They deserve a bit of teasing, sure. But not all the hate they get.
Creator liked Andrea in the show so he gives all of her stupid decisions a pass and ignores her bad behaviors to then call anyone who disagrees an ooga booga or an incel. L take, Andrea started off fine but plummeted as a character in seasons 2 and 3.
If you think about it, she was actually written perfectly. This was very realistic. Most women would do everything she did in the show. Be annoying, irresponsible, emotional, stay with their abusive boyfriend no matter what etc etc. only thing bad was her death. She could’ve survived that
I hated her on season 3. You turned your back on your friend to stay at Woodbury, she found out how the governor really was and still went back, had a chance to kill him and didn’t do it. She only knew the people in Woodbury a couple of days
She was mentally, spiritually, and emotionally broken by The Apocalypse. Woodbury was her sanctuary, and leaving it, to her, would've meant Round 3 of the uncontrolled chaos of Season 1, and the ending episode of Season 2, when the Farm was overrun.
Looking back, Andrea was a #TerribleJudgeOfCharacter She mistrusts characters that turned out to be "good", and trusted and continued to trust characters that were very obviously bad news.
I hate Andrea’s guts and what I think it is is two major things. For one she’s too smug to fuck up as majorly as she does. Like you said she knew she was more educated than most and she sometimes let that get into her head. I respect that she wanted to help but I hate that she felt like she was better than others for that desire. She wouldn’t ever shut the fuck up about how she knew what was best. I understand a lot of characters have made this same mistake and a lot of them weren’t willing to acknowledge it and apologize like Andrea was but look at what she did. She clearly wanted to sleep with Shane. She abandoned Michonne for the Governor. And the thing that probably makes me hate her the most she shot my goat Darryl. Unforgivable crime. I rest my case
Im a grown woman and I didn’t like Andrea from the very beginning. She was a self righteous, know it all who was always trying to way too hard to prove herself. She made horrible choices, she nearly killed Daryl (my #1 reason of disliking her, btw), and went back to a psychopath who tried to have her best friend killed and nearly R**** another member of her group. Didn’t hate her but she’s like in the top 5 on my 💩 list
I don't really understand why people are so butthurt about the Daryl situation. Was it stupid? Well, duh. But you act like she tried to kill him on purpose. Had she known it was Daryl, she wouldn't have done that. Case closed. Just seems like a dumb reason to hate someone. She's done a million other stupid, purposeful things but you decide to pick the one thing she DIDN'T do on purpose? LOL.
@@wavzone No she is stupid, that's the issue she is a 40 year old woman who tried to shoot Darly(thinking he was a walker) in the CHEST and then smiled smugly afterwards like she did something. I'm not butthurt I'm annoyed like I heard some other people say if her character was like 16-21 her behavior wouldn't be as cringe.
Andrea belittling the Groups living quarters at the prison ("this is where you live?") then telling Rick "yeah he was defending himself because your people shot first" was the last straw. Merle being with Rick's group should've spoke volumes to who the Gov was cause she knew how badly Merle hated Rick. The only thing I agree with is her choosing Woodbury over leaving with Michonne cause they were on the road too long sleeping on cement floors and outside I'd have chosen that warm bed over a friend in a zombie apocalypse too 😂
Michonne kept her ass alive for MONTHS. It wasn't a 50/50 partnership, Michonne literally carried Andrea's ass. People forget that part of the equation for some reason. It should matter when you are thinking about how Andrea disregarded her.
More like Michonne disregarded her. There really was no rush or pressure to leave. Would’ve been smarter to prove to Andrea what she knew, earn Phil’s trust and then assassinate him. Saving someone’s life doesn’t make you omniscient. lol
@@TheRealCaptainGold Yes, it doesn't make her omniscient... But again, Andrea should give Michonne the benefit of the doubt. She owed her her life several times over. There's a point where something like that should matter. Think of it like a guy not listening to his war buddy. I do think there is a point where it is disrespectful to a person who literally saved your life to nod at least trust them when they are adamant about something.
@@williambourque926 Look at it objectively, as if you are in Andrea’s shoes. If Michonne is wrong, they lose guaranteed shelter, food and water. Survival is not guaranteed out in the wilderness. Andrea also straight up told Michonne she couldn’t do another season on the road. Kinda terrible to just force your “battle buddy” out on the field, when they literally can’t run another campaign. Furthermore, if Michonne is right, they can just do what I prescribed. Stay. Earn trust. Eliminate the threat in the most efficient manner possible. Every way you slice it, Michonne’s handling of the situation was piss poor. Leaving was never a necessity. It was a desire. And Andrea, ironically, was right for the wrong reasons. But an intellectual “W” is still technically a “W”. And consequently, Michonne leaving is precisely what causes the conflict between the Prison and Woodbury. After season 3, Michonne became less of an impulsive hot-head. She even got onto Sasha for it. And I’m more than willing to bet it’s because she blames herself for abandoning Andrea.
My favorite character (is) was Carol after she took her power back. Angrea was my favorite character at the start. When she died I was pissed at her. I was yelling shut the hell up and get the damn knife off the floor stupid. I wanted her to live.
I never did understand why Andrea got so much hate, I hated her when she shot daryl not gonna lie but after that she redeemed herself, after what she’s been through she did well to stay human and to stay good. I felt bad for Shane I never hated him either, the only character I dislike is Lori for obvious reasons.
I think Andreas hate was warranted for 1 reason tho, her constantly seeking validation was her reason to contributing and also the reasons she did some real stupid stuff, there are other female characters in the show like maggie, michonne, carol who i didnt hate because they contributed to the group without having to look for validation and trying to be important it just came natural to them when they did good things for the group.
I hate her(the character) because she WILLINGLY turned her back on the group that had her back when crap hit the fan, ontop of finding out what they did to Maggie, Glen and Michone, then STILL going back to Woodbury. Fact is she may have been intelligent in books and social ways but she was very stupid when it came to street smarts/apocalypse living. She was lucky she had friends to help her but when she met the Gov her luck ran dryer then a creek in a drought. Idk about her comic character but i hope she's cooler then tv Andrea ngl
Captain Gold I agree with you completely. I’ve always loved misunderstood women in media but she especially is so frustrating AND fun to watch on screen. She’s one of my favorite characters from early twd and she really put her money where her mouth was in every situation. I love her 🙂↕️

I thought Andrea was badass. I actually got to meet her at a convention and she said that she was set to have her comic arc but the show runner change, screwed it all up. As soon as they fired darabont, her arc was screwed over. She said that there were two character that the show wanted to sign for a big future and it was her and Norman reedus. Highly suggest meeting her if any of you ever get the chance too. Such a lovely person
How is this ad hominem? He does call people out for having dumb arguments, but the majority of the video is him actually talking about the topic, so I don’t understand
The line that always perplexes me is when they were in the department store, she asked Rick would taking the mermaid figurine be considered looting which is a misdemeanor when just mins earlier she committed a felony by pointing a gun at an officer 🤷🏾♂️
I agree wirh you in regards to the whole self termination thing but im noticing something ive noticed several times before. You get needlessly worked up and hostile at the idea of people disagreeing with you and its cringy and unnecessary. You are putting your thoughts out there in a TH-cam video. Disagreement is gonna just be a given and your opinion isn't more intelligent than anyone elses no matter how much you think it is so just chill lol
Not all opinions are created equal. So, naturally, some would actually be more intelligent than others. It’s cringe when people act like I have to respect all points of view. lol I don’t really have to.
@@TheRealCaptainGold Of course not. But you've made it clear that, in this particular argument, that anyone who disagrees has to be stupid. It gives an impression of 'only my side is intelligent'. You're pretty much closing the door on any sort of discussion if you say 'the only smart answer is siding with I say'.
@@Ares99999 Yeah. It can definitely be that way. Disliking Andrea is understandable. But the **hate** she receives? It’s objectively incoherent. And I’m not apologizing for it, because I personally don’t think horrendously irrational claims should be respected. If you hate Andrea, you legit have to hate the majority of the cast and the majority of fan favorites. It’s fundamentally stupid the level of hate she receives.
@@TheRealCaptainGold Well, you know, people will be irrational. For instance, a lot of fans have put Shane on an absurdly high pedestal. A sort of ultimate badass. Its inevitable that whenever you see a scene of Rick doing something badass or cool, someone will say something like 'Rick is channelling his inner Shane'. So I watched S2 just to see what Shane did that was so badass and found that... actually, he didn't do much to earn that reputation. I think Shane's reputation as a badass and Andrea's reputation as a 'bitch' came from the same source: people who kind of forgot what the characters actually did and exaggerated what they liked or disliked to the point that it became disproportionate. I mean, the last time I noted that S2 Rick and Daryl were in their own way just as badass as Shane, perhaps even moreso, I got hate thrown my way like you wouldn't belive. It had nothing to do with facts, its just... emotions.
Exactly. I even have a video on how Rick, even in Season 2, was better than Shane as an overall survivor lol and, don’t get me wrong, I like Shane as a character. Great tragic villain. But we got people out here glazing characters that don’t deserve it. And hating on others that don’t. And then they get onto me for calling them out, acting like their memory of a scene I’ve watched dozens of times in editing is gonna be better than mine lmao. It’s ridiculous. Especially when you consider half of these folks claim to believe in “facts over feelings” but then they’re the first to cry when their intelligence is mildly insulted. Wild. That’s what really annoys me. A combination of clear irrationality with clear hypocrisy.
Am I an incel for hating her even though she’s blonde? And I don’t find her physically attractive. She just ain’t. She’s a bad friend and wasn’t strong enough to become a leader or a villain. Michonne could be both. So could Maggie and I hate Maggie too. But I hate female characters as often as I hate male characters.
shes just written bad. no redemption that happens for her, she just screws up and we dont really get to see her grow from it. She really needed a cool feat to make it up to ricks group but they killed her instead. For example: Carol goes through so many growing moments in the show, messes up plenty but does things that are cool that make up for it( the raid on terminus, telling tyrese the truth, dressing like a wolf, flowers to save judith despite losing her own daughter. and the list goes on.) this vid is just off base
She is hot headed, written as the “strong ‘im better than you’ woman” that constantly falls to bad writing and her character being just not someone people could connect to. Carol even though not as liked in season 2 had a reason…most of the women in season 2 have bad writing like Andrea leaving Beth to do whatever she wants(I could care less if it’s “rational to self delete” in a hopeless situation you are taking an emotional turmoil moment to slip into depression as logic…it’s not.) If it’s some grand stand of ‘you would delete in the first wave’ I hate to break it to you instead an actual argument, you are basically telling people ‘uhm my viewpoint is yours if you were in an apocalypse’ in a dumb appeal to emotion) Comparing Andrea, a character that’s supposed to be a somewhat likeable character in a survivor group and poorly written versus homelander…gee I don’t know someone you are supposed to like AS A VILLAIN
When she shot at Daryl and it grazed his head and everyone was like “oh it’s OK!” I was like what is happening with this character I already didn’t like the character and I was like …ok why. Wow are you really doing an “In defensive Andrea” video lmao
Yikes, that tirade about the suicide and how people would change their minds if it were then came off as defeinsive lashing out, albeit probably because of the other video but damn, not a fan of that vibe or the insults. Theres a way to tell people you think they're wrong without coming off as know-it-all. Keep in mind, i agree witht he general sentiment of the issue, just not the way you presented it.
it's his kind's fatal mistake no matter what they say they just have to use words and tone that makes them come off as miserable, insufferable assholes only to make themselves sound better so they can feel better about their worthless egos for 20 seconds before they realize that they have nothing , come from nothing and are nothing
Andrea's death pissed me off, literally an episode earlier we see her fighting off those walkers while one has its arm round her neck and the other is only held away by her pushing it back. And despite this she loses to some dork who had been disemboweled minutes earlier....
Andrea is a terrible character as far as the TV show goes, I never read the comic so I can't speak on that, what cemented it for me was when she told Lori that she should've just let Maggie's sister unalive herself, yes in the end she "chose to live" or whatever she said, but it was still irresponsible and a pos move, when somebody wants to harm themself you don't "give them the chance to do it", that alone proved to me that she needed to go with a mindset like that, not to mention how she always wanted a gun, it was always gun gun gun with her, even though most of those episodes the crew blatantly said they would not be using guns, not only because Herschel doesn't allow them, but because they attract walkers, and she finally got a gun and what did she do? Shoot Daryl, lets say Daryl was a walker, it was one of him, you don't need to waste ammo and make noise to kill *one* walker, no wonder she loved Shane because they were both terrible people and friends in the show
I really liked andrea in season 1 but the cdc changed her, it was a downward spiral from there tbh. She got sloppy, her ego grew thanks to all the time she spent with shane and was blinded by her feelings for the governor even though she had to know he wasnt a good person. Idk i think they leaned into the 'woman following whatever the man infront of her is saying' trope. All in all especially since conpared to the comics they distroyed her character
I was watching this thinking “wow, we’ve made it through the entire video without an idiot blaming it on sexism”… Was never going to happen because it’s 2024 and the rule is that only men are allowed to be hated. Women are free of criticism. And yet we all love Maggie, Michonne, Carole, Rosita and even Princes. So it sounds like you’re picking and choosing when the fanbase is sexist.
Just started watching this video and YES SHE DESERVED THE HATE. The only character worse than Lori. She was the absolute worst. Every time I watch the series, I realize more and more that the group would’ve been way better off without her. More people would’ve survived. She constantly tried to help in situations where she was in way over her head, making things worse EVERY SINGLE TIME. She wanted to contribute to defending the farm when she had no skills to contribute. She actually shot Darryl when she knew that the other guys had it handled. She knew that a gun shot might draw the walkers but she did t care about anything but her own ego. She was the absolute worst.
They should've made spinoff crossovers with Breaking Bad where all the characters just constantly do nothing but berate Lori and Skylar and then they die at the end.
I never hated her but I was disappointed with her because of how great she is in the comics. Although she did do a a few things that warrant distain such as when she shot Darrell. No matter what anyone says, she was wrong for that because the others were in the line of fire. Even if Darrell was a zombie, she could have missed and hit one of them. She endangered everyone in that moment.
she almost killed daryl after both rick and dale told her numerous times to NOT shoot yet she still did anyway and we're supposed to just be fine with that all because she said sorry? she not only almost killed daryl but put the lives of rick, shane, glenn, and t-dog at risk just because she wanted to help out and feel important, also she literally left a suicidal beth alone with a sharp knife at her disposal so she can off herself, and then when beth cuts herself and starts crying, andrea simply says "well she made her choice" instead of apologizing for leaving her alone with a knife, all she wanted to do was prove a point just so she can feel like she's right which could've gone south if beth did off herself, and if beth did end up offing herself then that's a "mistake" andrea wouldn't be able to live down, and even after the governor kidnapped glenn and maggie and had merle literally beat glenn and then had maggie strip down halfway, she stayed and you're just gonna ignore that? and her simply following shane and his decisions like a dog without ever questioning him and his decisions even tho she's literally a lawyer, yeah very "undeserved" hate
Yes Michonne did have to leave. Her Spidey senses told her Phillip was a dick and she told Andrea. She chose to stay with discount Jim Jones. Andrea didnt want to see the truth.
It seriously pissed me off what they did with her character in the show. She was great in the comics, and I can't believe they butchered her character so badly.
Uh..yes. She deserves the hate. I think the writers wrote her badly because, as it was reported, the actress was very difficult to work with. Laurie Holden has insisted in many interviews, that she had a 7 yr contract, which she did not according to AMC. No actor got 7 yrs. Because the character still existed in the comics, I think she felt entitled to be on the show that long, and wanted main character status. Anyway, I was thrilled when Andrea finally was unalived by the Gov after going back to him, knowing he was a monster.
Andrea is the second biggest wasted potential in my opinion. If I were writing the show. Andrea will be in season 4 with the group everything will mostly be the same with her present. We see her trying to make up for not being there her relationship with Michonne and Rick grows. Governor stills attacks the prison during the battle we see Andrea taking out many of governor’s army showing how much she has improved. Rick and the governor have their fight and Michonne stills stabs governor but in this version the governor puts up more of a fight he fights Michonne with a sword through his chest for a little bit. Then suddenly a gunshot is heard showing a bullet hole through the governor’s head as he falls to the floor. Michonne turns to the direction of the gunshot as the scene shows Andrea. Saving both her leader and best friend. She becomes one Rick’s most valuable assets she will get with Rick or if not she can be also Rick’s best friend basically reverse because I’m the comic Rick calls Michonne his best friend. And she dies during the whisper war either in the pike scene or gets her comic death by trying lead a horde of walkers away.
andrea was absolutely my favourite character in season one, her character felt real and her struggles were understandable where she was always trying to prove she can help and she wants to. Season 2 is where the writers took her downhill and I had to put my all into not hating her throughout the season with the shane and daryl scenes. Season 3 I was so happy to see that she seemed to be on a path of redemption towards the end with the governor and the scene in the warehouse where she seems to finally evade and be the one to finally outsmart and put an end to a serious danger was so satisfying and was very excited to see how her character would afterwards only for that moment to quickly end when he returns and shes suddenly gone, huge wasted potential.
I never liked her myself, but I guess I never realised that there are some fans that outright despise her. I almost felt like I was being attacked for not liking her, but I suppose that I'm in the "Yeah, her character wasn't that great" camp while you are addressing the "She's the worst thing in the first few seasons" camp. Either way, I just didn't like her because of how they wrote her on the show vs. her comic counterpart. You already addressed most of those points (she made poor choices sometimes, nearly killed Daryl, tried to make peace with Philip when it was obvious he was a monster, etc.). Truly, the real thing I disliked about her was the massive waste of potential. I don't *hate* the character; I'm disappointed with how she turned out (if that makes sense). I think the main difference between hating her and hating someone like Lori is that Lori is written to be hated/unlikable while Andrea was just written very poorly. Unfortunately, whether we should hate the character or the writers for that is relatively inconsequential. A character effectively *is* their writing at the end of the day, so poor writing will lead to a character many don't like. It is nice to see that there are quite a few people that enjoyed her though. (Oh, and not all of us who don't like her are "red-pilled incels who have never touched a real vagina in their lives" (whatever the hell that first part means). I've never touched one because someone on the internet told me that if I reached 40 without doing so, I'd become a wizard. I'm already 90% of the way there, so it's best not to change it at this point.)😀
I mainly hated her for not doing shit while beth wanted the forever sleep. I mean not doing shit as in literally not doing shit, like not stopping her from getting fuckin broken glass to unalive herself. Her getting WAY too ahead of herself and almost removing daryls head. Also the whole situation with the governor. And overall she was just a really really annoying character. I dont remember everything, but she legitimately bothered me. Maybe more than Lori
No. After a rewatch she did what she could to provide peace. Mostly inspired by the death of dale. Secondly , even if she left Woodbury and was at the prison, that would’ve never stopped the governor and she knew that. She did wat she did, while not the smartest actions, to save people . She failed. That doesn’t mean hate her. She did what she thought was right
@@somevrdude88 she was trying to save them. Just because she failed doesn’t mean she deserves her hate why are you hating her for a man’s actions ?? 😭 okay if she went back to the prison the same things happen and the ppl of Woodbury that were innocent never get saved because Rick did that in her honor
@@FlwlssAngel she didn't kill the governor, if she was tryna save everyone then she should've killed the governor but failed to do so which led to him attacking the prison cuz he was spared, also even if she did save everyone it wouldn't take long for the governor to still attack the prison cuz of his thirst for revenge, whether she stayed or not it wouldn't have changed anything
@@somevrdude88 if she would’ve killed him martinez would’ve been in charge and been on the same timing with trying to go to war with the prison. It was literally given as a reason In The show. Did you watch?
I do like that she was paying homage to dale by trying for peace, but once she realized that wasn't an option she needed to be redeemed for her mistakes somehow by either doing some cool/ smart plan that is benefical to the group or by going out in a cool way. people don't like her because she never did anything "cool"\
The character made me unreasonably angry for so many reasons not the least of which being that she was written so unlikable and yet played by such a talented actress that it caused trouble in the woman’s life. It double sucks because apparently she’s super cool. My friend was working at her booth at comic-con back in 2019 and literally no one came to see her so he just ended up chatting with her the whole time. She signed the banner that was hanging over her table and let him take it home with him. Pretty sure he still has it
She is too abrasive unjustifiably. Like Laurie she holds a contrary opinion to everyone almost by default. She is too much on the cliche feminist bandwagon where if anyone suggests what she should do she's gonna puff her chest and do the opposite. "You can't tell me what to do because I'm a woman and rah, rah, rah." Even though it's the zombie apocalypse which would be a little more pressing issue than asserting your feminist values. It's a time to put aside political issues and be wary of the situation. You know,, try to cooperate with others where reasonable and at least consider good advice from others before biting their heads off.
Competency doesn't necessarily equate to a well written character, and most of your points in this video just prove she was --competent--. She could kill 1000 zombies, but that doesn't mean she's likeable. She was poorly written and had TERRIBLE judgement. She sold out Michonne (who single handedly kept her ass alive) and everyone at the prison (who she had broken bread with and had shared losses with) -- because Woodbury had walls and the Governor was "charming" and a Chad ...(tall, intelligent and powerful). There were multiple points she could have switched sides, but the period after she saw his glass aquariums full of heads is particularly egregious. Any normal sane-thinking person would be able to put 2 and 2 together, (especially again with your BEST FRIEND on the other side). Either she was an total idiot or was dicknotized by the Governor. Michonne got it right: she ultimately traded her friends for a warm bed and food. She deserved what she got and IMO was the most poorly written character when compared with her comic counterpart.
Honestly she was one of my favourite characters!! I wish they would’ve wrote her better but I understand some of her choices and she just didn’t want anybody to die… 😢
0:01 out the gate ill say the tv show version 100% deserved. i didnt read the comics, but been meaning to check out some drama retellings of it here on youtube. she was prolly my most hated char on the show outside of maybe dale (go back and watch, every time the zombies attacked, dale was on watch... someone dies, and dale goes blameless lol).
No idea where the hate came from for Lori and Andrea but I always loved the original Cast doesn’t matter if it’s Merle Lori Andrea or Shane etc I love the original Cast cuz they just gave a vibe to the show that the show lost over the years I mean by the end of the show there’s only Rick Daryl Carol Michonne Maggie Everyone else is Dead and all the new character’s introduced over the years just aren’t as great tbh… it would’ve been so awesome to have more of the S1 cast live through all the years, and I wish we could’ve gotten that instead… I would’ve loved to see Rick and Andrea Together Rick and Michonne just doesn’t feel right…
lori sucks lmao i will die on that hill. I didn't mind andrea until the woodbury stuff she really never got a chance to redeem herself for her mistakes imo
I don’t hate show Andrea I just think her character in the comics is so much better one of my favorites and they killed her off so early in the show but we did get Rambo Carol instead which I will never complain about
I can’t believe that she went back to Woodbury after finding out that the Governor tried to have Michonne killed and after Rick and Hershel implied that he assaulted Maggie

Yeah… that.
@@Iianatorhot like heads in jars?
So Andrea’s entire deal with the Governor can basically be summed up with “I can fix him”
She likes bad dudes I guess 😂 first Shane then Phil.
@@TheRealCaptainGoldthey are also both pretty hot and there isn’t much selection in a zombie apocalypse

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Its not the actress's fault. The AMC's writers just couldn't figure out what to do with her since Season 1.
Glen Mazzara s*** the bed.
I liked her in season 2 to be honest.
Andrea turned on her friends. That's the reason in a nutshell. She stayed with the Governor even after she spoke to Rick et al. That's the main reason she was hated.
@@torridd
She never turned on them.
@@Aletheia-vs2oume too!
Andrea's behavior was annoying from the first scene.
Yeah, her and Lori
I was so happy when they finally unalialived her!!
Annoying as shit. She would drive me nuts if I wasn’t banging her.
agreeeeeee
When Andrea shot Daryl just to “show off” her sniping skills, not to mention putting everyone standing near him at risk of being shot, I was convinced that Andrea was trash.
And also. The sound attracts more walkers and a waste of damn ammo for one walker that if it was a walker. 4 capable adult men could've handled easily
@@matthiasjilimin700 Exactly!
The funniest part about that incident was that the only reason Daryl wasn't killed was because she was, in fact, NOT a good shot.😂
Word…they gave Comic Andrea bad-assery to Darryl…She was the Darryl in the comics
really downplaying the "fantastically stupid mistakes" part there lmao the hate is deserved
Yep. Her character was terrible. She was a massive disaster in every step. Didnt know when to stop, always trying to prove herself, never able to stay in her lane. The type of person to get everyone around them killed.
Yet she never actually got someone killed. 👁👄👁
Carl, Carol got others killed yet they don’t get hate for it ?
Exactly and everyone loves her in the comics so that's another point
and when dale took he gun because he wasn't comfortable with it and shane backed dale up with a logical reason, she gets mad and then nags dale for taking her gun every chance she gets
laughed out loud when you said maggie
I miss Rosita 😢 😢
Michonne really became comic angela
@@twilightgardenspresentatio6384 Yes, Michonne took Rick’s love interest part and Sasha took the sniper role. Also, no offense it’s Andrea.

So typical modern woman lol
I think you nailed it
Let's not forget she left a suicidal Beth alone with a knife after being asked if she can watch her. Not only did she lie but she took it upon herself to do it her way because she "knew" better than everyone about being suicidal. Lol
You absolutely nailed it. She’s the absolute worst character ever.
What makes her shooting Daryl worse was that she didn’t even get a headshot. Which would have been a waste of a bullet if he was a walker.
That whole scene was her trying to be like I’m a strong independent woman I can handle this I don’t need the men to do it even tho they are about to do it 1000x better than she could if it was standing right in front of her this is a dumb feminist moment
I knew from the second she says to Rick what don’t think I can like really that’s where we starting her character a dumb quote like that only someone who probably couldn’t do the task would say to try prove a point that women
Are stronger than men uhhh they arernt you cry about facts but they true
rewatch that episode dude.

I think Woodbury and Prison would've found their way to each other one way or another
Andrea didn’t deserve the hate in the beginning but she sure did after she ditched Michonne for the stupid governor. It doesn’t matter how good she was trying to be, people died. Well said
Civil rights is laughable, that crap is the worst poison in the American legal system
@@TheRealCaptainGoldGrow up!
@@kimberlyweaver1285 Nah, already grown.

@@TheRealCaptainGold We meant mentally 😂
I was mostly just dissatisfied with what they did with the character.
i love how he acted like andrea belittled daryl when daryl knew what he was talking about and corrected andrea
It’s crazy how I’m rewatching the show as I stopped after Rick flew off the bridge so I’m catching up and your videos are hitting always the timing is jus perfect lmao
I like Andrea’s character and you had me until you randomly called Andrea haters “redpill incels”?
It’s true. A lot of Walking Dead fans are exactly that. Man just pulled the covers on them.
@@richardekdahl7804
Well, it depends on the person.
I can't help but laugh at the scene of her shooting daryl with a massive grin on her face, followed by her running towards him shouting "OH MY GOD"
Because you fall into the first category.
he calls people who hate her stupid even tho not everyone is gonna have the same opinion as him
Nah he falls into the incel category. No one gets this mad over opinions on a fictional character unless he’s cooming over them.
Just trust me bro should be enough from a trusted friend, especially one who’s saved your life before
Andrea didn’t listen after he tried to kill michonne.
Looking back, Andrea was a #TerribleJudgeOfCharacter
She mistrusts characters that turned out to be "good", and trusted and continued to trust characters that were very obviously bad news.
I don’t mind the dislike. The hate is unusual. But the dislike? I’m still not over her taking twenty years to escape a chair lol
The only thing I agree with is her choosing Woodbury over leaving with Michonne cause they were on the road too long sleeping on cement floors and outside I'd have chosen that warm bed over a friend in a zombie apocalypse too 😂
I know right lmao warm bed, warm food, warm water. After months of BS I’d take that over anyone lol most people would too 😂
Michonne kept her ass alive for MONTHS.
@@williambourque926
Look at it objectively, as if you are in Andrea’s shoes.
As they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions
My favorite character (is) was Carol after she took her power back. Angrea was my favorite character at the start. When she died I was pissed at her. I was yelling shut the hell up and get the damn knife off the floor stupid. I wanted her to live.
I never did understand why Andrea got so much hate, I hated her when she shot daryl not gonna lie but after that she redeemed herself, after what she’s been through she did well to stay human and to stay good.
I felt bad for Shane I never hated him either, the only character I dislike is Lori for obvious reasons.
I think Andrea was prettier than Lori
I love her 🙂↕️
Not being the worst doesn’t mean she’s is any less detestable. Legit left Beth in a room to k*ll herself & took credit when she failed to. She was not a good person lol what. She thought she was smarter than everyone & her series of shit judgment calls ultimately became her downfall. Lol so uptight ab a difference of opinion
After rewatching the show i don't really think she did anything wrong aside from shooting daryl like an idiot.

Such a lovely person

using ad hominems isn't an argument, for someone who knows about fallacies, you ought to know this
How is this ad hominem? He does call people out for having dumb arguments, but the majority of the video is him actually talking about the topic, so I don’t understand
The line that always perplexes me is when they were in the department store, she asked Rick would taking the mermaid figurine be considered looting which is a misdemeanor when just mins earlier she committed a felony by pointing a gun at an officer 🤷🏾♂️

Yeah.
Yh, her attitude towards the group is unjust. Very self-righteous while being stupid at the same time.
Carol even though not as liked in season 2 had a reason…most of the women in season 2 have bad writing like Andrea leaving Beth to do whatever she wants(I could care less if it’s “rational to self delete” in a hopeless situation you are taking an emotional turmoil moment to slip into depression as logic…it’s not.) If it’s some grand stand of ‘you would delete in the first wave’ I hate to break it to you instead an actual argument, you are basically telling people ‘uhm my viewpoint is yours if you were in an apocalypse’ in a dumb appeal to emotion)
Comparing Andrea, a character that’s supposed to be a somewhat likeable character in a survivor group and poorly written versus homelander…gee I don’t know someone you are supposed to like AS A VILLAIN
When she shot at Daryl and it grazed his head and everyone was like “oh it’s OK!” I was like what is happening with this character I already didn’t like the character and I was like …ok why.
Wow are you really doing an “In defensive Andrea” video lmao
I hated her cause she cried every other scene she was in. It just got old.
Yikes, that tirade about the suicide and how people would change their minds if it were then came off as defeinsive lashing out, albeit probably because of the other video but damn, not a fan of that vibe or the insults. Theres a way to tell people you think they're wrong without coming off as know-it-all. Keep in mind, i agree witht he general sentiment of the issue, just not the way you presented it.
it's his kind's fatal mistake
no matter what they say they just have to use words and tone that makes them come off as miserable, insufferable assholes
only to make themselves sound better so they can feel better about their worthless egos for 20 seconds before they realize that they have nothing , come from nothing and are nothing
i really cared for andrea. she wasn’t perfect but she deserved better
Same 😢
I totally disagree Captain. She wouldn't have listened to Michonne.
Interesting fact, both Dale and Andrea were shot in the head by Rick's gun
I always found her annoying after dale convinced her to leave the CDC. But my hatred started to run deep when the whole thing w the governor happened.
dale: well if you're staying then i'm also staying
andrea: no, not like this
dale: so you decided to live
andrea: temper tantrum because dale
she almost killed daryl after both rick and dale told her numerous times to NOT shoot yet she still did anyway and we're supposed to just be fine with that all because she said sorry? she not only almost killed daryl but put the lives of rick, shane, glenn, and t-dog at risk just because she wanted to help out and feel important, also she literally left a suicidal beth alone with a sharp knife at her disposal so she can off herself, and then when beth cuts herself and starts crying, andrea simply says "well she made her choice" instead of apologizing for leaving her alone with a knife, all she wanted to do was prove a point just so she can feel like she's right which could've gone south if beth did off herself, and if beth did end up offing herself then that's a "mistake" andrea wouldn't be able to live down, and even after the governor kidnapped glenn and maggie and had merle literally beat glenn and then had maggie strip down halfway, she stayed and you're just gonna ignore that? and her simply following shane and his decisions like a dog without ever questioning him and his decisions even tho she's literally a lawyer, yeah very "undeserved" hate
Yes Michonne did have to leave. Her Spidey senses told her Phillip was a dick and she told Andrea. She chose to stay with discount Jim Jones. Andrea didnt want to see the truth.
She's the most annoying character out of The walking Dead
She gave the viewers plenty of reasons to hate her. She was extremely wishy washy and went wherever the wind blew so easily.
Yes, I’m addressing the hate crowd - not the general dislike crowd. Cuz clearly, Andrea did some stupid stuff lol
She did what she thought was right
it didn't even save people, what she thought was right still got people killed and the group seperated, she deserves her hate
Brother, you had me until that feminine outburst attempting to call people incels. I expected better from you
don't call him brother

Don't tell me what to do
The character made me unreasonably angry for so many reasons not the least of which being that she was written so unlikable and yet played by such a talented actress that it caused trouble in the woman’s life. It double sucks because apparently she’s super cool. My friend was working at her booth at comic-con back in 2019 and literally no one came to see her so he just ended up chatting with her the whole time. She signed the banner that was hanging over her table and let him take it home with him. Pretty sure he still has it
14:20 I know right remember that foot scene 👀😂
@@blueguy2128 😂
I've been waiting for this video
She's hated because she's overtly annoying in a lot of situations, though who tf hates her as much as lori?!
Now that you mention her talking crap to daryl yea i do hate her some more
Competency doesn't necessarily equate to a well written character, and most of your points in this video just prove she was --competent--.
I didn’t even think anyone hated her until this video
Honestly she was one of my favourite characters!!
I wish they would’ve wrote her better but I understand some of her choices and she just didn’t want anybody to die… 😢
Imagine Andrea and Shane left tg. Ahh man everything could’ve been so much better
No idea where the hate came from for Lori and Andrea but I always loved the original Cast doesn’t matter if it’s Merle Lori Andrea or Shane etc
I love the original Cast cuz they just gave a vibe to the show that the show lost over the years I mean by the end of the show there’s only
Rick
Daryl
Carol
Michonne
Maggie
Everyone else is Dead and all the new character’s introduced over the years just aren’t as great tbh… it would’ve been so awesome to have more of the S1 cast live through all the years,
and I wish we could’ve gotten that instead… I would’ve loved to see Rick and Andrea Together
Rick and Michonne just doesn’t feel right…
lori sucks lmao i will die on that hill. I didn't mind andrea until the woodbury stuff she really never got a chance to redeem herself for her mistakes imo
Without even watching
Yes.
I don’t hate show Andrea I just think her character in the comics is so much better one of my favorites and they killed her off so early in the show but we did get Rambo Carol instead which I will never complain about
She could be in my crew. But will have limited decision making authority.
