Cool story. Reminds me of stories once featured on Steven Spielberg's Amazing Stories or Rod Serling's Night Gallery. Sidenote: pumpkin pie isn't actually made from the same pumpkins you carve as jack-o'-lanterns. Too wet and stringy. It's made from special "sweet" pumpkins (those really smooth, perfectly round, super-orange pumpkins with the extra large stems).
Hell yeah, I just love these autumn/harvest fest/halloween themed stories! They just bring out an extra level of cozy horror, you know? Also, any person ready to go and ruin someone elses property because of some silly competition and foolish pride, well... I hope the Blood Pumpkin found him a tasty treat.^^

I too was spoiled by those daily videos. There's been a few narrators who have went from daily to one or two a week. It's sad but understandable.
