  • Let’s talk fitness apps.📱🍏🤸🏻‍♂️

    Now, whilst they can be a beneficial tool for certain individuals, we have to remember that this is a NICHE market & although these applications are available to all....THAT DOES NOT MEAN everyone SHOULD use them⚠️
    .
    Personally I feel the majority of fitness apps out there are specifically catering for the typical consensus of ‘weight loss’ something that has been profoundly publicized and promoted in the fitness industry for decades.⏳
    .
    For years I was ruled by these apps and the ‘numbers game’, counting every calorie consumed & every calorie burned. 🍏🔥It became an extremely obsessive and negative behaviour that left me anxious, sad & exhausted.😖
    .
    Although nothing can be 100% accurate there are so many factors that these apps fail to consider and/ or implement, formulating, to a degree random numbers that tell you how much you should eat & how much you’ve burned.

    In my case these number equated to my self value & more often than not I would be overestimating my calorie consumption and underestimating my exercise, creating an unhealthy cycle of psychological distress & self punishment.
    But essentially I want to emphasize just because it’s there it doesn’t mean it’s of use to you, & if it isn’t helping you it’s hindering you so GET RID OF IT‼️
