Wonderful. If you wish - you can send me a picture or short video and I will add them to a video (and give you the credit of course). I really should buy some rum... I've been planning on testing it and never got to it. Thanks for the inspiration!!!
Lovely recipe! I made this but without a thermometer and just watched the bubbles. I followed your directions, and it tastes wonderful! The maple syrup brand I used, was Kirkland Signature Organic Maple Syrup.
Wonderful. Glad you tried. If you don't have candy tools you can check my website - there are instructions for making candies Without tools. Thanks for sharing!
Great video! I like to watch your videos sometimes just for fun because they're relaxing to watch! I'm about to order some corn syrup and a candy thermometer. Thank you for creating candy recipes that don't require flavouring extracts, they're really helpful for people like me who want to use more natural sources of flavour! Have you ever made caramel candy with vanilla pods? If you have, I'd be happy if you could tell me how it turned out!
I substituted two heaping tablespoons of honey for the corn syrup added a half teaspoon salt and half a shot of rum. Awesome
Wonderful.

Thanks! Yes, natural ingredients are fun, easy (not all!) and much better than synthetic flavoring and dyes
Glad you like the video.
Definitely! By the way, I don't know if you missed the last part of my comment, could you respond to that? Thanks!!
Indeed, I missed it.
No, never did - but I shall try!
Wow, thanks a lot! I look forward to knowing how it turns out :)

How to store
Not a problem: Jam jar with a nice airtight lid. Add some powdered sugar, shake, store for long times in the fridge.
