Thanks for sharing. My sister sent me some maple sugar candy for my 65th birthday. She lives in NH where we all grew up, and I'm now living in IN. It had been some 25 years or more since I had some and I forgot how much I liked it. She also sent me 2 quarts of maple syrup so I think I'll give your method of making maple sugar candy a try.

I super appreciate you for making these videos! I’m trying to use up last years syrup (so much syrup) and have had so many failures before finding your channel

Do you know how to make the candy somewhat transparent. I’ve been looking all over and can’t find anything on how to do that

I have a possibly stupid question.
    🤔
Once the maple candy reaches the pouring stage can it be poured into a pan and later sliced with a warm knife?
    (Like fudge.)

It would be too hard to slice after it cools down.

Can you rest it a low heat burner to help warm it so it continues to flow?

I never tried it. But making it more dense would cause it to harden even quicker. Need to keep it moving. But keeping it warm would help.
