Nice review! I got one of these recently and really loving it (mostly for photography) so far. The weight for travelling is just amazing! I wish it had an SD card reader but that's about it. Gonna try "lite gaming" on it over the weekend... I asked Acer about the USB-C ports since they confusingly call them USB 3.2 gen 2, 2x2 and USB4 in various places on their own site. They told me that they are only 3.2 gen2 (10Gb/s and no eGPU support) despite Windows device manager showing them as USB4. I noticed that Razor's new AMD laptop got a firmware update that enabled USB4, Thunderbolt 4 and Pluton recently so perhaps Acer will say something similar.
For a game like Genshin, there will be occasional drops below 30 when the fighting gets intense. But if it’s Valorant, the 1% low will still be higher than 60 most of the time.
I wish battery was like 99wh, they probably kept it at 54wh just so it can be lighter than 16 inch lg gram :/ id appreciate the option at least. My dream laptop is like 17.3 inch oled screen with 6800u and 99wh battery
The LG 16" Oled is also pretty dang light - that being said - I'd love an 18" light laptop. I love the fact that the ACER keyboar doesn't have the number keys crammed in there so the touchpad is properly centered.
So this was announced back in October, but still cant see these for sale anywhere. This looks like exactly what I want. Im sick of Asus Vivobook / Zenbook crappy battery life. Apparently this has like a 52Wh battery, compared to Asus tiny 42Wh which drains in about 3 hours of light use.

keyboard comparison for these would be nice
Nice review! How is the frame stability on such a light laptop?

I see you’ve reviewed the 16” LG Gram as well. Between these two which do you prefer. Thx
Just personally, would go for the Acer Swift for various reasons that I prefer. But the Gram is still really really good and better in some aspects.
How many hours of battery it has? Can you give us a more detailed data please...
wait, how did you remove the numpad
Keep up the good work!
We do our best!

Let’s hope that becomes a reality soon!
yes and yes
Great product, and good review. What is the battery life like ?
7 hours typical.

"professional" review, no word about dc dimming
this could have been one of the best all day laptop with a larger battery, sacrificing with a little bit more weight
battery life?
About 9 hours depending on your use case
Is the keyboard any good? Others say it's squishy and not great for typing on. That would really irritate me!
Thus far, we did enjoy it! But of course, if you could try it at a store or something before purchasing, that'll be best.

They are already on sale here in SG! We aren’t sure of other countries however.
No Thunderbolt 4 means you can't use a TB4 dock to drive 2 4k monitors... deal breaker.
Bro show the hands-on laptop quality 😖
