Definitely gave me ideas. I'm a cabinet builder myself, and a new owner to a 55 gallon tank. So why not build a nice Hood like this which I think it looks overall way better than the plastic Lids you can get. Nice job man! Thanks for vid!
@@jdofishtank6018 well in all honesty surprisingly enough, for like 90 dollars , I already bought the stand from Walmart. It's black with a nice finish and I'm pretty happy but I really do think making the hood would go hand-in-hand with it and look very nice. But I do agree if I would have thought of this before I would have made a stand for it also. I guess my next question is for you to access changing your filters, do you have to take the hood off? I also noticed you make your own filters with that sponge. And also that canister thing you had inside your tank. That would be awesome if you could fill me in on that, how to make that. Thanks a lot man
Very nicely done. Just to add ... the canopy insides could have been painted white as it reflects a lot more light and some water proofing done to ensure longer life. Subbed.
It would have been cool if in the video description, you had put the materials needed to make the canopy and how much to cut. Just for future reference on something like this.
Hello there I saw your work and it is beautiful do you make make canopy’s to sell I have a 55 gallon aqueon tank ? I like to know because I will purchase one from you

Thank you very much for sharing, I really appreciate it.
What's the weight of the canopy?

If you’re a cabinet builder make your own stand and canopy. You could make something no one would ever see in a store, plus much better quality.

Did you not put the clear plastic tops back on underneath it? And where did you get the clear plastic tops?
They’re glass tops, I got them at Petco
Wondering what type of flowerhorn you have and how fast do they grow. I have a 75gal now, but looking to go bigger in the near future. Thanks
Not sure what kind of flowerhorn I have, got him at Petco. He’s starting to look like a kamfa .
NICE👌
