- The aquarium I made for American Aquarium Fish Species was a bit too large. but it will give a magnificent depth
The filter, which will provide good filtration with a 140x15 cm Rear Sump, is both useful and not disturbing.
The Aquarium stand I made was strong enough to carry a much heavier load. Although it is a bit heavy coffee table, it looks very nice in such an aquarium.
This aquarium has been specially made for its Owner.
Who wouldn't want to have such a beautiful aquarium!

As someone who is attempting to build my own tank for the first time, these videos are priceless.
Love watching a master aquarium designer bringing it all together.. When I started out with reef tanks I was clueless in sumps. Now 16 yrs later I have a 6ft long 100 gln and a 50 gallon low boy with 2 40 gal breeders sumps I designed from scratch. Thanks to TH-camrs. Even built 3 stands ,now I consider myself a somewhat a DIY guy . Thank God for leows .

Where do you recommend getting the glass for this? I need to build my own to make it semi afforadable for some rescue turtles. I feel so lost in building my own 200 gallon aquarium.
I would like to make an aquarium 120x40x45cm. I am interested in what thickness of glass to use and whether it is better to glue the side to or to the side of the aquarium floor. I apologize for writing because I am using a translator.

Thickness depends mostly on height of the aquarium. Not the amount of liters.

If you add “wave-killers” in the top as this aquarium, 8 mm should be enough, 10 mm is safe. I guess if I should build my own aquarium, i would take 10 mm. Just in case.

nice work! A little question, how to remove a glass glue or sealant from the surface?
Get a Stanley blade a put it on glass with 45 degree angle a push it into the glue.
