I wonder if they hired people from Mozambique to do it, that's a typical C.I.A, F.B.I and N.S.A card to play... Enable to save face they hired members of the N.O.I whom shot Malcolm X, M.L.K. Jr was assassinated by the F.B.I. who helped white supremacists amongst the police force get away with the crime and so many other violations and manipulations...

Fought for a noble cause but lacked the emotional intelligence to move the country forward. That caused qualified workers to flee in droves, leaving a country with good infrastructure to decay, aggravated by the decades long civil war that threw them to the bottom of the third world.
Since Samora's death, Mozambique is ruled by a criminal organization that makes the colonists look like innocent church choir children.
I hope I can see it rise towards its potential in my lifetime.

When the Portuguese left Mozambique they poured concrete down the toilets of the tall buildings, changed the electrical wiring if factories, took the city drawings, left the country with 3% literacy and a few craftsmen. It was Zimbabwe who in the 1980s set up programs to teach Mozambicans English , civil service operations, farming techniques. Zimbabweans students would go and teach in schools. Then I believe the Portuguese took him out as he was in alliance to form a federation with Zimbabwe. He was leaning toward English speaking Mozambique. Chissano reversed these policies. He should be made to answer why he did not continue...
