In my studies I've learned Africa and the Americas have more in common than what is taught to those of us in the U.S. Whenever Credo speaks of current or not so distant happenings of the past, localities are recognizable. Then when he speaks of the Ancestors having things like Maize (native to the Americas), i start to think of all the 'African' and old world (Americas) artefacts i've recently learned about. Also, how in America in places like Utah and in the South, you will find cities with old ancient names that correlate. Chitauri, i was searching for them on google and the first thing i found was the chitauri from marvel universe. Shocking i would say, they are holding it right in front of us.

There might just be a connection between the Dragon king Umbaba samahongo and Surtur of Norse mythology from Thor Ragnarok.
