I, eventually, learned to dismiss my political convictions as incorrect. I supported the so-called "national liberation" movements in the Third World. My outlook was coloured by politics. In retrospect, Rhodesia. South Africa and others were correct in opposing the movement. Look at the condition of Rhodesia and South Africa to-day. The Mozambique people were super exploited by the Portuguese. They had every right to pickup the gun and fight . What happened after liberation was a shame for all their suffering during the liberation war . Yes Mozambique does have it problems but it's " their mess " , that. what liberation means .
