Its asinine and ignorant as it's essentillly like saying "anxiety doesn't exist" or "PTSD doesn't exist", in that they're literally observable phenomenon, they describe symptoms, they don't actually "exist". The ignorance comes in with not realizing this phenomenon is way bigger than just "trans people" and the majority of people diagnosed with dysmorphia are cis.
You're right though, if Tim feels genuinely uncomfortable not wearing a beanie, I hope he speaks to someone and is able to work through or adapt to be less anxious about his body. It's a shame he doesn't want to apply that courtesy to others. Y'know, like a cunt.

Tim talking about that suicide made me so livid. I didn't want to listen but I need to know where their rhetoric is at and it confirms some of my worst fears that this is beyond anything I could imagine is mainstreamed. This is how radicalization works and how they justify their hatred and heinous crimes and mass shootings. They make their audience believe that trans activism and acceptance is what leads to harm, not the nonstop barrage of vitriol they experience. 'If they weren't trans, they wouldn't receive hate' they say. And then they call in bomb threats and shoot people, believing they're protecting kids
The only thing they are protecting is their fragile sense of self to maintain their fear based lives. They need to watch their family members, church leaders/members, and their adult friends to protect children from bad people, because that is where the lion's share of abuse comes from. Makes me so angry.

I'm ashamed to admit I used to love watching good Ole Tim Fool. I started watching from the very beginning, and little by little, I drifted more and more rightward. It was easy to pretend that i was still center left since Tim would always say how he was a fence sitter. I stayed with Tim up until sometime after January 6th, when I eventually found the first video that Jose made about Tim. While I didn't immediately leave the Tim Pool sphere, Jose opened my eyes to just how much of an echo chamber I entered. I'm really happy I found that video when I did, or who knows, just how much further I could have drifted into the Trumpian right-wing world view that Tim loves so much.

I find it odd you mentioned Jan 6th. When Minneapolis was a blaze, 2 federal post offices serving 100,000 people burnt to the ground along with a fleet of postal vehicles and several deaths, alongside the billions in damage. @Nicholas Time what a load of communist sounding gobbledegook. Credit scores used by banks are a way to determine how likely it is a customer won’t pay you back the money a bank lends them. It’s not evil and no one would be able to borrow money without them.
Social credit scores on the other hand are exclusively used by authoritarian governments to control their populations and punish them even when they aren’t breaking the law.

I'm so glad you went over the duplication procedure when votes are being counted. My mother and I both volunteer to count every other year and it really saddens me that so many Americans do not know how their own votes are counted, nor do they care to learn.
If a vote can't be read by the tabulator then it is taken to the side and reviewed. There can be a couple reasons, but most commonly is either the markings aren't clear/dark enough, or the ballot is too small like mentioned in the video. The review (at least in my county) is done by both a Republican and a Democrat sitting down and going over each vote together. Then, when we finish it is reviewed again. Only then is the duplicated ballot put back in the tabulator.
Mail-in ballots are another subject, but as you can imagine they have their own checklist that you go through and a completely different review process because issues arise from the markings on the envelopes submitted.
I know it's their job, but people like Poole just anger me so much because people who listen to him can find this out on their own. They could volunteer to count votes during the elections, but they won't. It's much easier to spread conspiracy theories and be a cynic than to actually do something to contribute to your country and countrymen.

I remember I got into Tim pool and his podcast right before the George Floyd protests. I used to tune in everyday. To me it was great to have a "middle of the road" opinion versus the Ben Shapiros and Steven Crowders I used to watch. I got radicalized so much over that year due to him framing himself as center.
