There is a VERY busted combo with Heart of the Underdog where you activate Reload as soon as you would no longer draw more cards. I think "Monster Slots" should have been on there. It can only be used in decks with a lot of monsters of the same level, which you need 1 on the field and 1 in the graveyard to activate, but it's an upstart goblin when you lose, and a special summon from deck when you win, which I think beats a few other cards on this list.

Hi a great video again, I think it's possible to add Reasoning in this list. There is a gamble for your opponent to guesss the Level. There is also a gamble for you to find a monster a bit fast to not excavate your whole deck
Theres a shot on iphone meme video from 3 years back where a guy plays Pot of Extravagance on turn 1 and banishes 6, only for the 6 banished cards to be ALL the copies of his dragonmaid fusion monsters (3 House, 3 sheou) Then the 2 cards he drew were both Pot of Extravagance.
10:53 I used ante in Duel Links in a version of the fortune lady desynchro FTK(one of only a few FTKs in the games history). I ran a level 12 monster so I could pretty much guarantee the activation. Even if I failed to FTK, resolving the hand rips allowed me to still win a couple duels where I hit important cards. Usually people use dragons gunfire instead which does 200 less damage and doesn’t hand rip but you don’t need the high level monster.
Honestly, it's fitting Joey used the card "Question", boy's got a preference on gamble cards in his deck, to the point that in the Yugioh R manga, one of Yugi's friends tells "Joey" that he's more so a gambler than a Duelist. He even lost a gamble in a duel prior to that moment in that manga. Thankfully, he had a card ready to reroll his luck, metaphorically, since the gamble card he lost the gamble with was a spinner gamble card. Things would've gone very bad had he not have that card ready that gave him a retry on his gamble card
There was a 2010 event in Master Duel the other day and I went with “Janky Exodia Deep Draw FTK” using Heart of the Underdog, I wish I had thought of the Spirit Ryu combo then aha
Question is particularly fun with a charmer.Deck build as most people can never remember the individual names as they all share titles. Other cards that are great when paired with Heart of the Underdog include any Quick-Play spell that can draw you cards, particularly Reload and Hand Destruction. While these are great to have to help you *GET* to HotU if you don't have it in your starting hand, they're not dead if you draw them either. This is because HotU only cares if you draw *A* Normal Monster *DURING* the Draw Phase, not the 1st card or cards drawn with HotU. So, if you draw one of these cards instead of a Normal Monster, you can immediately activate it, draw 2+ cards, and continue the chain. Even if your luck is terrible and the last card you drew was a non-Normal Monster, HotU only cares that *A* Normal Monster was drawn, not whichever one was last. Best of all, Reload in particular only gets crazier as the game goes on because it shuffles your entire hand into the deck to draw the same number of cards. This means that the more cards you draw, the better your odds are that you'll draw other copies of Spells or the Exodia head in a way that keeps them from interrupting HotU's effect.
If this list wasn't inspired by the recent Master Duel double Skull Invitation event then it's some crazy coincidental timing. (I played against someone running Numerons, draw cards, and Saryuja to get their LP super low, then Reversal Quiz call "Spell" and win instantly. I made a budget version of the deck since I already had Saryuja, Numeron, and a playset of Reversal Quizzes. Though I found out the hard way that you have to have at least 1 other card in your hand, and Fhuma Shuriken/Black Pendent have to be sent from the *FIELD* to the GY to activate... The craziest thing was, not only did I eventually manage to pull off a win despite not having cards like Upstart Goblin and running Planet Pathfinder for consistency, but I won by sending 2 Copies of Fhuma Shuriken to the GY just like the guy who beat me, but also with the *EXACT* same card on the top of my deck revealed by Reversal Quiz ...which was the *THIRD* Shuriken!
I'm pretty liberal with what I consider gamble cards, but even I think that calling Desires and Exchange gamble cards is a stretch. I would have gone with Dangers and Spyrals as the top two spots instead.
You can actually cheat with heart of underdog using "reload" and/or "Hand Destruction" in your draw phase. Also you forgot to put Slash Draw in your video.

They need to make a berserker soul retrain that makes it stronger than the anime one because it’s not like berserker soul was broken in the anime Also if I had a penny for every time I used true name blindly calling metal reflect slime that Maxx C is chained to by the opponent, for the top deck to be correct and while I also have The Revived Sky God in my opening hand all on turn 1, I would have 2 pennies. You’re just wrong about the Berserker Soul moment. In the dub, it’s a turn to darkness, with Tea even getting mad at the Pharaoh. In the sub, it’s a moment of rage, with Anzu stopping the Pharaoh because he’s really doing himself no good in the moment
How Question is really good: Make your monster cards Japanese. So the opponent must know how to read/speak Japanese to actually get Question correct. Theres a shot on iphone meme video from 3 years back where a guy plays Pot of Extravagance on turn 1 and banishes 6, only for the 6 banished cards to be ALL the copies of his dragonmaid fusion monsters (3 House, 3 sheou)
Then the 2 cards he drew were both Pot of Extravagance.
WHOA random Ghoti Shif appearance!
what happend if a monster that cant be special summoned showd at the top thanks to transcription? is special summoned or goed to opponent hand?
I didn't gamble on a Pot of Greed can't be understood reference in this video. You've won this Exchange.
Wouldn't Berserker Soul work well with Superheavy Samurai's since you're only playing with monsta cardo's?
Would Berserker soul work good in a Pure Pendulum deck? Or would they be considered spell cards for this effect?
Honestly, it's fitting Joey used the card "Question", boy's got a preference on gamble cards in his deck, to the point that in the Yugioh R manga, one of Yugi's friends tells "Joey" that he's more so a gambler than a Duelist. He even lost a gamble in a duel prior to that moment in that manga. Thankfully, he had a card ready to reroll his luck, metaphorically, since the gamble card he lost the gamble with was a spinner gamble card. Things would've gone very bad had he not have that card ready that gave him a retry on his gamble card
The greatest power of Exchange is that your opponent will sometimes forget you have their card and you get to keep it.
There was a 2010 event in Master Duel the other day and I went with “Janky Exodia Deep Draw FTK” using Heart of the Underdog, I wish I had thought of the Spirit Ryu combo then aha
There has been a lot of gambling video lately, is there any chance it got st to do with the European cup running currently
Surprised that Reasoning didn't make the list. It's probably one of the most played gamble cards in the game's history
Question is particularly fun with a charmer.Deck build as most people can never remember the individual names as they all share titles.
Speaking of which I wouldnt mind seeing a failed archetype about them, They have a lot of potential , but they're a little too gimmicky to be competitive outside of a few choice links like the light charmer or hiita to steal snake eyes
Honestly, Reasoning and Monster Gate should have been at the top of this.
Imagine an archetype that allows you to rearrange either player's top deck. Might use some of these cards.
Neat analysis video! Thanks for uploading!
in germany we normaly go from class 5 to class 10 in the same school,
i was in class 10 and often played yu-gi-oh during recess with the fifth grade pupils, (not for prices or stuff but for fun)
i had multiple decks for fun and one real one, i rotated question through my decks so they never knew if it was inside,
Why isn't Ordeal of the Traveler on the list?
Actually, Spirit Ryu effect doesn't activate during the damage step. It activates during attack declaration and only during attack declaration.
How about the Danger! archetype?
Berserker Soul could have been printed like it was in the Anime and it still would have been fine the 500 effect damage is so funny to me.
The very first print of Exchange mentions that the cards that are exchanged, when going to the graveyard, go the the graveyard of the original owner.
DORO! MONSTA CARDO!
Charming voiceover
Heart of the Underdog Exodia is "Heart of the Cards" the deck. Use to play it, and it is incredibly fun
Igknights are used with Heart of the Underdog and Exodia in DL
Honestly surprised you did not add Slash Draw, as its gamble is win or bust based on how you build the deck.
heart of the underdog can go insane in igknight, I used to run it lol
It's the only way I play Igknights in DL. Grandpa's Cards plus 3 HotU and the rest are Igknights.
I'm pretty liberal with what I consider gamble cards, but even I think that calling Desires and Exchange gamble cards is a stretch.
I would have gone with Dangers and Spyrals as the top two spots instead.
Aww, was hoping super quantum alpha would show up. Pick up 3 super quants, 1 randomly goes to the field, 2 to the grave
I actually used Berserker Soul with Super Heavy Sam back in the day
all pieces of exodia are only limited to one copy? hmph
I would like to see a mill deck with Berserker Soul honestly^^
You can actually cheat with heart of underdog using "reload" and/or "Hand Destruction" in your draw phase.
Also you forgot to put Slash Draw in your video.
I always had a reversal quiz for one of those "fffffffffffffff" moments
I can't believe Reasoning didn't make the list!
D O R O ! M O N S T A C A D O !
Maat could be useful in starry knight decks. It has both light dragon and fairy monster and can use th fairies gy effect to potentially plus
I didn’t see the word gamble in the title
The exodia player on exchange might be taking raigeki because they know now there exodia win condition is off line so there gonna try to achieve a deck out and that extra raigeki could keep them alive long enough
I like to use The True Name with some Dark Magician cards like circle or servant.
They need to make a berserker soul retrain that makes it stronger than the anime one because it’s not like berserker soul was broken in the anime
Also if I had a penny for every time I used true name blindly calling metal reflect slime that Maxx C is chained to by the opponent, for the top deck to be correct and while I also have The Revived Sky God in my opening hand all on turn 1, I would have 2 pennies. That isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice. No really what are the odds of that happening twice?
You’re just wrong about the Berserker Soul moment. In the dub, it’s a turn to darkness, with Tea even getting mad at the Pharaoh. In the sub, it’s a moment of rage, with Anzu stopping the Pharaoh because he’s really doing himself no good in the moment
I now feel a sudden urge to make a make a super heavy samurai berserker soul deck and a spy rap constriction deck.
Barrier of Oreichalcos isn't evil. It brings out the user's strongest emotions and desires; manifesting the user into their purest form.
Seeing Desires gave me flashbacks to Zoodiac format
Desires is insane in nemleria
Huh, and I was expecting Reasoning and Magical Merchant
I think we should make all super heavy samurai players run 1 of berserker soul cause it'd be cool
Kind of surprise Slash Draw isn't on the list. Given how Danger abuses it but it is still a gamble.
Berserker Soul is the funniest Superheavy Samurai tech.
The title makes more sense now.
I swore he was calling him Yaoi Marik at one point
6:52 that's when he says Yaoi Marik
@@MrITSCLOBBERINTIME I mean he’s not wrong
The only deck I can think of that can maybe have Berserker Soul in it is the Superheavy Samurai deck. As that deck has nothing but monsters
What about Slash Draw?
Before I even watch this video, I'm going to guess that Slash Draw is in the top 3.
Nope, not even on the list lol
where the rock paper scissors trap that banishes battling monsters face down?
How Question is really good:
Make your monster cards Japanese.
So the opponent must know how to read/speak Japanese to actually get Question correct.
(alternatively, so they must know BEFOREHAND what the cards original name is)
"Question!"
"Blue Eyes White Dragon."
"No. The bottom card is actually 青眼の白龍"
