- It's safe to say that I am a fan of the Rolex brand. Most watch collectors seem to lean more with Rolex than other brands. With so many options with models it's hard to have a favorite. Here are my favorite 5 models from the brand and these are watches that I currently own in my collection.

I picked up the cousin to the Rolex Daytona Panda, the Tudor Panda, several weeks ago. And like Eric said in his video, I cannot get it off my wrist. It is so much fun to wear, and I wear it everywhere; including, trips to the gym, grocery store, and dinner! I only wound it once when I first got it, it has a 70 hour reserve, and the Tudor just keeps running and keeping great time. I also use the timer a lot. Maybe if the great watch market reset continues to adjust downward, I can afford a Daytona Panda. Time will tell.
Awesome List Eric! Black Dial 116520 is my favorite rolex saving for one. I think these might very well be collectibles in the future because it was the very last one pre-ceramic. Exactly for the reasons as your vintage sub... its going to develop character and charm throughout its use. And standout vs the generic ceramic ones.

For Rolex , I can easily make a top 50 list. They just have so many great pieces !!

I'd been wearing a batman for the last year but picked up a 16610lv Kermit a couple weeks ago and it's barely left my wrist since. It's my first five digit reference and I just did not expect to be so in love with it.
In terms of the professional line, five digits are the TOP.

I’m surprised Eric is not into Skydwellers. I find the Skydweller a cool unique hefty statement piece that has presence.
A friend of mine has the same taste as you he has all 5. Also the SARU in Everose is fabulous perhaps the best version in my opinion.
Skydweller is the best Rolex model. Most complicated movement for Rolex, best finishing, and most unique design off all Rolex models.
I can relate 💯 with the SARU.. I’m also drawn to it. Something magical about it. Just wish I bought one years ago on a trip to Dubai when they were in reach. Now it pains me more that the price is out of this world.
It’s on the list of much haves. But I’m gonna have to wait for the stock market to excel and that’s probably a long time away..

Of all my Rolex the one that consistently gives me the biggest smile is my JC Deep-Sea Mk.I on the matching Pacific Blue Rubber B...
The matching blue of the strap and that dial... OMG... they were made for each other!
It also has the best lume and bezel of all. Even the slightest darkening in the room and that blue lume just pops...

well the SARU is unobtainable but the only watch left on your list for me to get is the yellow gold day date i’m on the list for, that’s literally my collection, except mine is a stainless Daytona black dial from 14. Have a stainless daytona, white gold daytona on oyster, sub no date, gold daytona black dial and just waiting on that yellow gold day date for what I consider the perfect collection
That ghost bezel is literally the most beautiful bezel I've ever seen. Incredible piece.

I noticed you don't talk much about Sky Dwellers. Would you put it in your top 10? Yellow gold of course.
Finally Eric giving some love to the undeniably ultimate classic, prestige & value for money watch, the Day-Date 40! I highly respect your experience and taste development over the years Eric, I've been a supporter since day one. Now how come you missed to add the skydweller? I have been wearing the dd and the sky every day for the past 5 years and although the DD is the most usable (because I always forget what day it is) the skydweller two tone yellow and white dial is by far the most beautiful and attractive watch (to me).
One of the logics I use when buying a watch, is I buy a watch that can't be replicated/faked. So no subs, no gmts, no daytonas. The skydweller can't be replicated just because of the complexity of the movement. Give it some love Eric 😅

Definitely saw some low quality Swydweller fakes. I agree, Day-Date 40 is the Rolex flagship and always was in my opinion.

I was fortunate to pick up a triple zero, a few years back. I nor the dealer I bought it from realized it was a triple zero as the papers and box have them referenced as a double Zero’s. It is only on the case is it stamped with a triple Zero. Again, between the lugs on the case is the only place you will see the triple zero referenced.
GMT FYG Jade 'Anniversary' dial is a cool piece.
The current Daytona Panda, 36 DD, DJ and all the five digit Professional models are he best for me.

I like your Top 5. I can agree with your list but would swap in the polar Explorer II. I love that watch. Also, I don't feel like I'm important enough to rock the Day Date. Lol. But it's a beautiful watch. I would take it in platinum over gold. Maybe one day.

Bought a dd40 with a factory diamond bezel. So flashy 🔥.
My top 5. 1) Roman Dial Blue 41 Datejust, 2) Kermit, 3) 2 Tone Rootbeer, 4) Batman Jubilee, 5) I don't have a 5th yet.

Nice choices, Eric. I own a Starbucks Sub and my son owns a No-Date Sub. They are quite iconic watches indeed. I would put my top 5 as follows: Steel Submariner; 36mm yellow gold day-date; Pepsi GMT on Jubilee; Panda Daytona and 36mm steel Explorer.

@@dannysimenauer5745 A 36mm Day Date is the perfect size for a 6.5" wrist. 36mm Day Dates also wear larger than other 36mm watches due to the president bracelet and oyster case. I have clients with 7.5" wrists who wear 36mm Day Dates. The 36mm Day Date has been the correct size watch for well-healed gentlemen since 1956...go for it!

Its a great watch. With great status. But not my favorite so far.
I got depressed watching my brother beat up his gold day date wearing it working around his house and his boat. So I bought him a g shock for Christmas last year and told him to beat that up instead.
