Probably my favorite episode yet. What a legend Hendo is, love listening to him :-)
Thanks for tuning in Andy
To whoever the owner is of this collection, fair play for sticking by your principles and selling them because of Rolex going about their sales the wrong way 👍
What do you mean selling them because of Rolex going about sales wrong way?
I agree although so
Some with this collection probably had another copy of each of these is just a guess but yes very well done whoever this collector he is and hopefully he was rewarded handsomely for it
Think seller knows MKT dropping so sold
I really should have gone to bed but I just can’t switch this episode off, just incredible.
Could listen to Hendo wax lyrical about vintage watches for hours!
Appreciate the kind words Robert
I could listen to Hendo talk all day about wist watches
Cheers Nick
Beautiful collection. A word for me that suits this collection perfectly is "curated". It's not a set of watches thrown together, it's a set of watches carefully and passionately curated by someone who followed what they loved and appreciated each and every piece. Clearly built over years and I can also understand and respect their reasons for selling now.
Well said!
Could listen to Hendo talk about vintage pieces all day! So good seeing his passion for watches... great episode guys!
Glad you enjoyed it
What a treasure hunt. Loved seeing immaculate watches from the past. You guys never fail to entertain and enlighten 🥂
Knowledge is king.. By he knows his stuff.
What a collection! Hendo always brings the treats 😍
One of the best collections to land in our shop
@@Watchtrader It really is! What time will the watches be online today?
Absolutely brilliant this absolute star Ian
Great video guys, love the vintage watches with hendo.
Thanks for watching!
Congratulations to the seller. Not in it for the quick profit, but because they loved the watches. Glad they made out very well in the end though.
Thanks for watching!
Really enjoyed the video and that collection is unreal especially as most are fully stickered!! Some great long term investment watches there! Lovely that Hendo knows all the history of them also. Thanks for the video guys keep up the great work 👍🏻
Thanks for dropping a comment and letting us know 👊
sold at the top of the market well done !
Reading all the comments below, I have to agree that this was a special episode with Jack and Hendo, the Rolex collection was something to admire, Hendo was in his element, and Jack with
his contribution made this something special to watch and enjoy, as well as us viewers learning quite a lot about the collection. 👍👍👍
Glad to keep you guys entertained, thanks for tuning in as always Bill
Just stunning! Thank you for sharing your knowledge on these stunning pieces!
Thanks for tuning in
Hendo would be my guy there, and we’d have lots to talk about.
What a collection of watches…and what a knowledgeable fellow
Thank you Neil
Just fyi, the first "white" 1680 submariners arrived in 1975 in the shops, and the first "white" 1665 seadwellers arrived in 1977 in the shops, although you could still find in 1975 "red" submariners and in 1977 "double red" seadwellers produced these years. Also, the Zenith El Primero movement was launched in 1969. Many thanks for a great video!
Thank you for sharing that Philippe
The original collector must have had a time machine to have bought those watches back in the day when the market was nothing like today and kept them unworn! Wow fair play, unreal investment!
A pleasure to see a collection this this. Thank you for tuning in Ian
Breathtaking collection, but I cannot help to think about how much these watches would be worth had he kept these in his family for another few decades.
What an amazing collection, great video I could listen to Hendo all day
This bearded man is my fav person on any watch show on YT
That was one of the most interesting luxury watch videos iv seen in a long time, keep them coming.
Will do Mark
Great episode, dream collection..❤
Stunning collection! Great episode guys.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Just when I thought I was beginning to understand what Jack says, 🤯 😅
Very interesting video! Bravo 👏🏼
Thank you
This is an unbelievable collection. Blown away.
Thanks for watching James
Some beautiful watches there. I do love though how some people believe if a watch is still fully stickered it's classed as unworn. There's no such thing as an unworn watch if it's been tried on which pretty much every watch in the world has then its been worn. They've been kept in very good condition. Such a shame they've not been worn and enjoyed as their intended purpose was and they been kept in a safe all their life.
Best episode yet 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Fantastic channel lads, wish I found you guys sooner...
Welcome aboard!
Mackems have always had the best taste in watches. George Daniels set the bar
Great video some serious watches with a hefty price - I guess around total for whole lot Must be around or over £450- £500k possible more 3 watches alone we’re about £80 k
No way.
@@chaosad4508 nope. He’s probably right
wow amazing
Thank you
I enjoy watching this guy his very knowledgeable..🙌🙌🙌
Thank you!
Jack, the reason why the Flat 4 changed after a year was because the contracted bezel manufacturer changed it. Back then Rolex was not vertically integrated as it is now. Same reason why dials suddenly change slightly. None of this happens now - which is a shame.
Thanks for sharing that Sam
Another great Hendo episode! And what a collection! Lovely to hear the story behind the specific watches and the various models, really enjoyed watching
Glad you liked it James, thanks for tuning in
Great episode and as nice little earner 👍
One of the best videos you guys have done. Absolutely fantastic. So nice to see a collection like this and see what came with the watches when sold.

Same!

Would love to see a video of Hendos’ watch collection 🙌
Goldsmiths do offer an insurance service on Rolex (was chatting to AD)
What a guy hendo is legend
That is the best collection I think I’ve ever seen👍
A rare find indeed
I love Hendo. Seema a real gentleman. Class. But sometimes i wish he'd hurry the **** up.
Great vid and that collection is insane.
Haha thank you Paul
I thought I was watching Braveheart, then I realized oh it is a watch channel.
what was it like when the transaction took place it must have been bitter sweet for him i'm guessing i mean it must have been a very difficult decision for him right? boy you guys struck gold here being able to buy back the entire collection wow
What a collection, funny to think you could get a Rolex in Sunderland. Last time I was in that store was pawning some gold, I believe it's completely closed down now.
A piece of history!
Great collection and show
Glad you enjoyed!
Amazing stuff.
Glad you enjoyed it
@@Watchtrader when the pieces are going live? I only noticed two SD's already up.

Good choice!
Goldsmiths have an insurance which you can take out up to 30 days after purchase.
Thanks for sharing
Great video boys
Cheers Josh
Great collection... how are the whole "the watch market will always go up" comments you made every video fairing?
What an amazing collection. I am in awe. Totally brilliant. Must be worth in the region of £175,000 in todays prices?
☝️
What an absolutely stunning collection. I wonder if I could get enough for the wife to purchase the whole collection. 🤔
Haha thanks for tuning in KC
@@Watchtrader Never miss an episode. Keep up the good work.
Errr…you forgot the white dial Sky-dweller, so white dial is not unique only to the Daytona and Explorer II and DJ. Just saying…
Absolutely fantastic episode, what a collection, absolute history, I commend the collector, actually, curator is more fitting. Hendo , would the white dial Zenith Daytona be the famous porcelain floating Daytona dial version? Oh and my guess for the lot. £210,000
The white dial Daytona is a porcelain dial but unfortunately not the holy grail of a floating 4. Thanks for tuning in!
@@Watchtrader thanks so much, still, the porcelain whatever version is a stunner!
That kermit... wow. I guess the question now though is would you ever wear it or want to de-sticker it? It's a collectors piece now rather than a watch to wear.
The stickers will 100% never be removed from any of those watches. You’d be crazy to do so.
@@jameslloydcole8783 Agreed, so you are buying watches you cant really wear. Even when paying 45k for a watch which originally cost £2,650.
As the guy said at the beginning of the video.. getting a stickered Rolex now is almost impossible. I myself have 6 stickered(most fully) Rolex watches and an unworn caseback stickered 1861 moonwatch. I also have quite a few other watches so having stickered unworn watches don’t make me feel like I’m missing out.
Is there any of this true treasures available. I Love Hendo’s content
They should be going online today
If namajunas vs esparza was a watch video
Early ones with the Flat 4 and late ones with the what?
I have a V serial number 2008-2009 are they late models or is it only the M serial number 2010 they are talking about? I've never taken it out of the box was bought NOS and fully stickered with all the paperwork...
Rehaut?
Would have been nice if you had say the value now
The full collection would be north of 300. Pieces should be going online today
What is the price for all?
Hi Logan, you can check the website or give us a call. Some of the pieces have already gone. Thanks for watching
The door beep is so annoying
Watch historian moonlighting as a TH-cam channel cameraman. 👍
Haha 😉
Out of interest would these watches need to be serviced if they were going to be worn as the oils etc would be so old?
These watches are best suited to a collection. However, whether someone wears the watch or not is their choice. In that case it would be a good idea to have a watchmaker look at the movement to check the gaskets and lubricants before regular wear.
Searching your website for prices and can't find any?
Wow wow wow, what a collection and a great episode 👏 🙌 😍
Can you tell us the prices please, would love to know!!
Thank you
Hi, the watches should be going online today. Thanks for watching
