I think the flavor for Nilah is that she doesnt fight something unless its a huge monster thats why she has brash

Honestly I am glad this expansion we don't have a super fast turn 2 quick attack champion has a meta for once. Instead it's BIG DUDES TIME again finally.

I think it's funny that in lore Nilah beat Voli up but in game 9/10 time when you play voli against Nilah she just implode instantly
It’d be interesting if she was a quick attack unit and her ability was to double her attack if she was blocked by a titanic unit.

Better if she deal 4 to Titanic Enemies... that should do the trick of making her a monster slayer
I thin she could have something like,
After you play 3+ cards grant me quick attack and +1 . 0 for every card you drew this round
This gives that big monster fight and works well with her actual card design
I want to enjoy her play style but it just feels dull compared to voli. Janna feels good as an engine for everything, but as good as this expansion is I settled back into demacia frejlord. That being said, after not playing ranked for like 6 seasons, if feels so good to be able to reliably unga bunga back up the ladder
The issue is that she's in bilgewater, a region that has an absence of big minion removal as a core weakness. They printed sunk cost to hammer this in lmao
So unfortunately they had to do with the limitations of runeterra's core design and couldn't represent everything from her lore
I think the flavor identity of Nilah to beat big minions was to just win the game before the big minion comes down. That's why her package is cheap and has Brash as their win condition. The weak Volibear followers will get run passed while Nilah and her crew just run past them and beat Volibear before Volibear. She draws fast and has a lot of options as a result but her cards are fleeting because she only has a limited amount of time to make match deciding plays before the larger than life monsters she fights reach their velocity.
At least that's how I interpreted it.
As a 2 draw she would need a growth mechanic like kale has, or augmented Viktor if he can get dragon and quick attack keywords he becomes a beast.
We need a comparable power scaling, how do all the characters measure up against each other?

Or give her +1/0 for every card drawn this round until the end of the round.
She’ll be able to kill big units while die trying. Anything will make her exceed all expectations 😭

I am obly disappointed that Ashlesh -the demon of joy that gives Nilah power - isn't mentioned enough and it isn't a card of its own.

Hmm, maybe something about a power increase according to the health of the blocker?
the fact that she has brash means that she can only be blocked, and therefore, challenged by bigger, stronger units. I think it works fine
