You can really hear the passion this guy has for Case knives and the community that comes with it. I love Case knives and I'm really excited for all the new stuff that's coming. Especially that denim micarta and the front flipper.
I love the Bridgeline! Looks alot like the Karbon Ahoy which is my favorite looking knife.... I just havent been willingly to pay 350 bucks for an overseas made knife.
The representative from Case is such a genuinely nice dude that if I wasn’t already into traditional knives, I instantly would be. They picked a great person to speak for them on camera.
Toll zu sehen, das Case nicht nur weiterhin ihre klassischen Schönheiten fertigt, sondern auch mit der Zeit geht und modernere Designs, in moderner Fertigung auflegt, klasse!
I really like the look of both Bridgeline knives. Either might look good in jigged bone or purple maple burl. My favorite case that I carry often is a pocket worn gray bone Tribal Lock, followed by sawcut bone Back Pocket. I'm a big fan of the Tony Bose designs. I also restored and use a 1976 Elephant Toe.
Thank you for the very detailed and informative video! I’m very excited to pick up on of those Ridgelines! I love how it’s a mix of a new school and old school slip joint with a pocket clip! I just wish that beautiful od green micarta wasn’t covered by a black colored clip. I would have preferred a silver clip to match the bolsters! Thanks again Maury and George.
Need more of the Mahogany Peach Seed Jigged Bone with the Carbon Steel. And also bring the Copperhead pattern with carbon steel back and keep it in production. Also kudos on the barlow back in the production line up, here's a little advice, offer it in carbon steel and take the writing off the blades.
Don't own any case knives and am always looking at them (I love a simple slip joint). But man the modern ones are catching my eye! My favorite knife is a buck 112 and these just seem like a really good modern choice for that style of knife. Looks like I may need to grab one as my knee hiking/fishing companion 🤔
I agree...the past 4 or 5 I've bought have been absolutely horrible grinds...wouldn't even cut paper and the tips were rounded off. My stockman was fitted so bad there's half moon marks on all the blades from them rubbing.
Just bought a Amber Bone Canoe, I will never buy another one unless I can actually hold it. It has a horrible edge, burrs are wicked and it too wouldn’t cut paper.
What I’m looking for is the one with the lockback with a thumb stud pocket clip- can’t remember the number Can someone help me find one that’s not orange. TY
When I was a kid Buck and Case knives were the grail knives all others were just imitators. I have my Grandfather’s Case 😊fixed blade hunting knife that is nearly if not over a hundred years old. Still use it for processing game and keep it razor sharp.
I think you're missing the mark for the price point on the bridgeline. Thats a sub $150 knife all day. Just picked up a Spyderco in 20 cv for 119 with the compression lock.
Case knives are the baseball cards of knives. More about collecting than using. I'm guessing there a ton of older Case knives returning to the market as the Baby Boomers (or their kids) sell their collections. Nice to see they are making newer style stuff.
George PLEASE ask them to bring back the Case 249 Hawkbill pruner. I’m in the market for a classic pruner and they have discontinued that model. Also, if anyone has any alternate recommendations I’m all ears
You can tell the economy is affecting knife companies as well as everything else. Before covid the company's offered more. Now alot of them are just making the same stuff just smaller or light weight or offer a new color. Good thing we have soany companies to pick from.
Didn't they produce one already? I know they made the Trapper and Mini Trapper in S35VN with black buffalo handle covers. Those ones are still available at some retailers for a littler over $100.
We need more American made front flippers besides overpriced customs because when you look at the EDC community it's pretty much a staple at this point that only the overseas production companies have been providing, so I'm glad to see an American company jumping on this style of knives when Spyderco/Benchmade/Protech kind of haven't really brought anything to market.
I don’t think there’s a more appropriately named knife company than Case. In the case they look great, in hand they more often than not leave a lot to be desired. The QC is not there and it is the only knife brand I’ve bought that has had multiple examples with liner rub to the point the knife wouldn’t fully close. My advice is don’t buy a Case knife online. It’s sad because I want to like them so much. For now I’ll keep buying GEC, QSP, C. Risner, Jack Wolf, etc. even if they cost considerably more. I’m still loving my old Case knives though (pre-1975).

I named my youngest son Case because of the knives. He gets a new one for every gifting occasion. Quite the collection for a 7 year old lol

Wish case would make a front flipper sodbuster with a pocket clip. That thing would sell out within minutes.
Can’t like this enough. At a minimum a pocket clip.
Toll zu sehen, das Case nicht nur weiterhin ihre klassischen Schönheiten fertigt, sondern auch mit der Zeit geht und modernere Designs, in moderner Fertigung auflegt, klasse!
I’ve collected case knives for over 50 years. I also collect German Boker brand knives . Quality is Quality !
@@donaldpiper9763 Word! 🙂
Nice Yellow bone and Barlows!!
Hey I was that guy @ blade show last year that you’re talking about with his grandfathers knife 👍🏻
Wha? Is that a single-blade sowbelly in yellow delrin with a CS blade?? Sign me up
I wish they did single-bladed versions of more of their patterns.

I like that Micarta frontflipper.
And I really like the way he presents his company. Great guy.

The Barlow needs to be a standard offering. It’s hugely popular, very useful and very attractive.
Love Case knives. Love the fact they are American made. I’ll be picking up a couple of their new products in the Sportmens series.

How about putting the gaps in the liners, the poorly ground, re-curved blades, and blade rub back in "The Vault"?
I agree...the past 4 or 5 I've bought have been absolutely horrible grinds...wouldn't even cut paper and the tips were rounded off. My stockman was fitted so bad there's half moon marks on all the blades from them rubbing.

Loving these shot show videos
I'm really impressed with the long house and high banks Case great job!
That razor is gonna be gnarly a.f. in stag
Always loved Case barlows.
I like the modern but it’s a little bit too expensive. Maybe I’ll catch a sale and pick up one
I love the idea of the modern traditionals! Would like to see liner rocks and frame locks on them though.
Hired better quality control employees.
Already bought a smooth yellow bone with black shield sowbelly and pre ordered a od green micarta longhouse. Gonna be a good year for Case
What’s the blue handle knife at the end of the table they never talked about?
Copperlock
It's a full-size Copperlock in blue G10 with a diamond-shaped shield with XX in it.
Does Case make knifes with Switch blade such as Hubertus classic s
I'll buy a Bridgeline ASAP! Love to see you fill that gap in your line.
What I’m looking for is the one with the lockback with a thumb stud pocket clip- can’t remember the number
Can someone help me find one that’s not orange. TY
Love me some classic designs!
Those modern traditionals look awesome!
Another great video George. I love case and these new fixed blades and the top flippers look awesome.

I think I must have one of these Bridgeline knives. Or two? Better two.
Knife guys would love to see Case reverse course on etching tang info rather than stamping.

They must be selling well. Most of the stuff if out of stock on their site.
It is S.H.O.T. Show, most of these are not yet available.
@@davidgarrett5671 everything is out of stock on their site. Read the comment again.
@@jesseo355Yes, several online sellers have software that if they have no stock it will say “Out of Stock” even if they have never had any.

Kline makes a great hawkbill
Are the razors all stainless? No carbon steel option?
Pin the shields!!!

Love everything I saw and I’m happy about the natural bone coming back out now I can match my cheetah
Every year I say I love Case. And next year they make a traditional Stockman knife in modern steel.
Didn't they produce one already? I know they made the Trapper and Mini Trapper in S35VN with black buffalo handle covers. Those ones are still available at some retailers for a littler over $100.
Big fan of the Bridgeline knives
the barlow is sweeeet but the etch totally ruin it ....
There will be other variations available.
love to see Case make san mai blades on some and give som a hamone.
I'm buying a Bridgeline. PERIOD
I know that Case knives have been around forever, and they look well made, but I would never own a slip joint designed knife.

I like case but they need to do better 60-80$ on a average knife is alot of money to buy a knife you got to take home and sharpen
Most delicious voice george? I agree but interesting choice of words hahaha
Hook is on your show and the get an infection when you shave with it 😢
Does he have passion? Yes. Will I pass on all of them? Yes.
Not a fan of the razor blade
Still too polished and kinda cheesy for me to want any tbh. I certainly don't want a knife "representing beliefs" of any kind lmao
First
Why the crap can’t they bring back the Trapperlock?
