Another exercise that I do (it is sort of like clam shells, and uses them to start and end the exercise) The steps: 1) Do clam shells 5 times 2)Now, instead of only lifting your knee, lift your entire leg (but keep it in the same position, so a 90 degree angle). Do this 5 times as well. 3) Now straighten the top leg and do step 2 (but with a straight leg). Do this one 5 times, too! 4) This one is a little different from the rest; instead of lifting your leg, you are going to straighten it, and pull it into your stomach. You can do a 90 degree angle and match the bottom leg, or pull it all the way in. Do this one 10 times. 5) Do steps 3, 2, and 1. 6) Sit in butterfly for as long as you'd like to let it stretch! 7) Continue steps 1-5 on the other side! Then sit in butterfly, and continue other stretches if you'd like! :) Viola! This will probably burn a whole lot, but it helps a ton! Lots of love, -It's Daphne.

My daughter has had ridiculous flexibility since birth. The girl can put her toes right over the top of her head! You can imagine how happy that makes her ballet teacher. 🤣 Let’s not get into how I can barely touch my toes. 😅
No matter how much I stretch I can’t get a fully higher leg extension it’s like my leg stops and I feel like it’s just a little bit more would work out, is it a hip flexor or hamstring thing?
