Easy way to farm G Rank Viscous Radiant Mucus from Nakarkos for this armor set. 17 are needed to make the set, 21 in total to fully upgrade it, I think. 1. Get DLC cat Caligold with "Last Stand" Skill. It needs to be Level 25 to unlock it, not sure if you need level 25 to be able to teach another cat first. Last Stand removes acorns and allows you to die in 3 faints. 2. Prepare another a cat with Gathering Pro, Earplugs, and Last Stand by teaching it the skills. I use a Gathering cat. 3. Remove armor from cat to lower defense. Take a good weapon for backup damage if ballistas miss. 4. Eat for Felyne Bombardier (increases ballista damage). I eat an Attack Up L/Resistance meal (e.g. Steamed Abalone and Eggplant). 5. Go on G4 Bone to Pick Nakarkos quest. 6. Take 10 ballistas from chest. 7. Run left to the ballista gun and shoot Nakarkos's face tentacles. 8. After 7-10 shots, it falls down and allows you to run up his back to mine for parts including mucus. If you miss a shot, try hitting its face or dying and getting more ballistas. 9. Faint 3 times as quickly as possible. Jordan William Each generation has a base game and a portable title (the fourth gen’s ‘portable title was Generations), and I’m pretty sure they vaguely confirmed that they’ve got something coming for switch. I think what they’ll get is a MH Portable 5th, a “World Lite”, an attempt to give Switch owners a taste of World’s style, kind of like what MH Portable 3rd was.
Tyler MacGregor I’m in for it. Iceborne is a good start of fixing tons of things that went wrong with base World, and Ichinose could fix things further with Switch MonHun.
GS has it so nice in MHGU, on top of this there is the Hi Metal Z set for earlier in G-Rank for that sweet Earplugs, Sheathing, and Crit Draw. Need to use a charm for Focus but if you have a good enough charm you can upgrade that Earplugs to HG Earplugs.
I am so happy to see a MHGU video! Don’t get me wrong, I adore iceborn. It has been a blast and I play it regularly. But MHGU has so much more content and such a different feel! I feel like still after hundreds of hours I am still seeing new things and have new gear and goals to grind for. And your videos are gold when it comes to that. I would love to see an updated guide to weapons and such for people transitioning from world to gen. I have a lot of friends who are scared to make the leap because they have heard it’s so hard. You explain stuff in a way that is easy to understand. Keep up the great work.

I'm so praying they pull another Generations and give us a switch Monster Hunter game whilst we now wait for Monster Hunter 6. The idea of cycling between a main series game then a "spin off" (generations) every 2 years would appeal to everyone and keep nobody waiting for more
I'm really excited about the next monster hunter title that'll be exclusive to the switch I hope it's like the original MH series with a few Qol improvements. I'm a new world hunter but the old series just looks so much more fun and difficult.
Did they announce that there is somthing coming to switch or is it just hopeful speculation. If so I'm with you. It would be great to have an older style game back.

Mira Smit I don’t know about 4U, its endgame was also pretty Grindy. Levelling up Guild quests through artificially difficult monsters to 140 was ass. And the rng of relics was also shit.

@@dom604 Well too much of one game can make you hate one game you used to love. Just go back to something else and Generations Ultimate has over 90 big monsters. And it's far more the fantasy than realistic and hilariously wacky with designs. A stark contrast to Iceborne.

You know, I almost wish they could run a series of Monster Hunter games in parallel with the main series that continues to build on Generations' mechanics. Arts and Styles are some of the most fun I've had with Monster Hunter, and it's something that I keep going back into GU for. That, and the pure whimsy...It's a thing I miss when I play Iceborne. They seem to be injecting more of the over-the-top feel back in though, what with the final boss and the Gathering Hall literally just being a ton of excuses to screw around with your friends and palico! Hopefully they can either run concurrent series where one is more whimsy and over-the-top fun and the other can be more down-to-earth..Or they can put these two things together.

Been using this set since MHG. Really good. Really easy, especially if you slot in that challenger sheath.
