What an amazing time you guys have had. So many iconic places too. What part was your absolute favourite. The Eiffel Tower? I have to admit the one part of the video I didn’t like was when you was in the tower looking down through the glass floor. No no no no no. I can’t do that. My brain cannot comprehend it. Apart from that it was formidablé ❤️

The Arc de Triumph has a lift, I used it last time we were there! Saves walking up the stairs. You only need to ask at the entrance.

We were last in Paris in August 1980 (Honeymoon). We had the then equivalent of a Paris Pass. It has come along way since then I suspect. We had problems avoiding the crowds but we had a guided tour as part of the pass. The guide was brilliant. I did not like Paris but love the rest of France. We made a big mistake heading back from Le Sacre Coeur to the hotel. Two streets one well lit and one dingy. We took the brightly lit for safety. It was the red light district LOL. That is not the top, when we were there there was a gents toilet one floor up LOL. But as you will have found out Paris is quiet compared with Tokyo.

Ooh la la. I'm a Paris fan. I think I've eaten my body weight in crepes there. Paris can be surprisingly budget friendly but that Paris Pass looks like a good idea. Of course we went and had no clue, like most of the places we go to, so we missed out on the bargain stuff by the look. We didn't do the river cruise either. The one time we might've my sister and her family were there at the same time and we stupidly said we'd baby sit while her and her husband did a romantic river cruise. On the plus side they got stung 50 euros for the welcome aboard champers and we got Chinese. I think they got divorced shortly afterwards too. The last time, we were there with our kids this time, we had a tiny apartment. We did have a kitchen but the shower was tiny. If you dropped the soap you had to get out to pick it up. The kids slept on a sofa bed and with our bed there was literally no floor space for bags. We chucked them under the kitchen table. 😂 In a couple of visits we still haven't climbed the tower. But I think we've eaten the equivalent height in cheese. We did do the open top double decker bus night tour once - there was one parked behind you at the Arc de Triomphe. It was a lot of fun. And when we left Paris, driving, I did go for a spin around the Arc. 🤣

Thank you 😊🙏wow that sounds like you had an awesome time over your various visits 🤩the tower is worth a visit even though it’s pricey and crowded 🤩an open top bus tour does sound fabulous 😊
