You guys are living the wargamers dream! A group of guys of like mind, a dedictaed space to play with members willing to pitch in to maintain it, enthusiasm and excitement for the hobby, and scotch (LOL!). I'm sure I'm not the only one who is envious. Glad you're back fellas!
Sharing a gaming space with Role Players can be challenging. Both types of games need the right level of ambience and you cannot achieve that in a shared space. And there is always one person/voice that carries through the whole gaming space and impacts on the experience.
Nice to see you guys back. This video reminded me of how I got my start in gaming around 1978 at a store called Conflicts in downtown Allentown, PA. Avalon Hill, APBA, SPI, minis and more were all played there in the backroom. One wall was covered in metal and maps were attached to the metal and magnetic counter holders used for playing pieces. Met some great people there.
You are all awesome and the new club looks incredible! Many years ago Jack Brendel was in your group and our Gettysburg group and he would zip back and forth. Jack says hi to all ! Amazing how far it all came together. You all have done so much for the hobby and history. Bill Molyneaux
Well that's answered a few long standing questions about the gaming space. Fantastic Gents, love it!! Looking forward to seeing the recent renovations and more importantly, the new season. Many Thanks 👍
Fantastic. So much fun. There is a local gaming / comic book store in my small north Texas town. I was driving by late one night on a Friday and I saw a collection of kids leaving, excitedly waving their arms and guesturing at each other. I knew the feeling. That post game after-action review following a great session.
Fun insights! Thanks for the share! 😃 And nothing better than working all together on the place/headquarters of your dreams and then enjoying it! May it be for many years to come!! 🤩
@@LittleWarsTV Im able to put up a 10 ft x 6 ft table but it kinda shuts down the apartment. But it breaks down into 4 pieces and I have cabinets and plastic boxes to store everything. It does the job.
Brilliant tour guy's, I could spend days just exploring the basement. It's like Aladdin's cave, every wargamers dream. But you left us hanging in the end with the conversation of another office space. Can't wait for the next video., meanwhile I'm converting my garage the car now lives in the driveway 😁👍
its absolutely great guys, nice to see the hobby properly catered for, so many of us have to use clubs to play in just for the space alone. you've done a great job, thank you for sharing.
Back in the early to mid-90's the owner of the paintball store in the next town had the sweetest setup. In an industrial park, he had the wargames room, the paintball store and a LAN with computers in about 5 different places, plus his bachelor suite. Kids came along and I couldn't go so often after that. But for about five years I was hanging with a crew of Napoleonic fanatics every Thursday night. Sure do miss it!
Super cool video! It nice to have a dedicated place to game and hang out w friends. Our local game store had similar restrictions plus they didn't like it when I get loud and excited...so I converted my garage to a doable game center for us to game...and get loud!
Your building and club rooms are truly aspirational and it’s really cool to see how it has been painted and decorated. I didn’t notice the faux copper ceilings in previous LWTV episodes. Only one complaint- you shouldn’t have pulled back the curtain to show where the brick wall is located. 😄
Awesome. Your club and commaraderie bring me even more joy than than they do envy. Really excited for this season. Thanks for all the effort it takes to let us in on the great things ya'll are up to!
Awesome space guys. Also it's crazy, I used to go to Comic Store West back in the day. Over an hour away from me but it was the only hobby store around. Small world
What made you interested in buying the space in the first place, Greg? Just for a real estate investment or was the plan specifically for a wargaming spot? I was about to leave a comment about potentially expanding into the second office space and then it came up at the very end! Exciting stuff! I'm also wondering, do you rent out the upstairs apartments? That would be interesting place to live and I wonder what the tenants think of it all.
JUST INJECT THE LITTLEWARS CONTENT INTO MY VEINS! Sorry slightly dramatic. Really cool to your guys space. I joined a wargaming club back in December and its a North Yorkshire one so we get people from my town and several villages coming down and its very cramped and not everyone can get a game. But it's a good space to chat about the hobby and get advice.
THANKS for the TOUR - now when I watch the videos I can imagine which table/which corner of the toured-room you are on (?) from your diagram !! Of course you may have CHANGED your toured-room from your EXPANSION into the other office space ( as we will hopefully see in your NEXT VIDEO ? The tour of your BASEMENT SPACE was interesting too !! It showes how over-time your basement is getting FILLED-UP (much like mine too being a wargamer over 65 years ) !!! :-)
There are definitely some changes to the layout of the original war room in store. And yes, in the next video of this series you’ll see the new space! We started the renovation over a year ago.
love this video. glad i can see the history. always wondering where all of it start from. also is the basement where u do the rule book review?! i recognize the wall!
Can you tell me how old the original building is, what year was it built? Do you guy know what the building was used for in the past? So glad to see a new video from Little Wars!
Any plans to do more figure comparisons like you did for AWI ranges? That was very helpful. There are several such videos covering European wars but not much at all on 28th and 19th century American or North America conflicts. Something on 40mm would also be well received.

Amen to this!
At least it keeps them off the streets.
:D
You're not the only one mate
Why be jealous? If it's what you want from life to then get after it!
Well said, makes me really wish I lived in their area so I could join in the fun.
"Gentleman you can't fight in here! This is the War Room."
All the lonely war gamers around the world are just happy you guys have each other.
So glad to have you guys back.

Role players tend to be over dramatic ass holes like they are better than other gamers
As a Deep South gamer, I applaud your achievent in aquireing the Club Space(s). Good work, Sirs!

Just building that suspense lol damn you all. Really cool history you all have, looking forward to seeing more.

Greg: Guess I'll buy a building
Good to have yous back! And nice shoutout to your LFG. Always support the LFGs!
My absolute favorite TH-cam channel!!!!! same with all my friends. Highly recommend y’all do a collab with yogacast in England with they’re gaming

Wow! go big or go home. Nice work. Getting that many guys to pull together is amazing. My gaming area is my living room.
Nothing wrong with a home set up! I’ve seen some pretty killer home game rooms!

Nice background video, and what a tease - and behind Door No. 1.......
Amazing! I wish I lived near there and could join your club...but I'm 4000 miles away in England.. .😢
You Brits are spoiled. You have shows every week! We have just a few each year to go to. So that’s why we need a club!

biggest plot twist imaginable, i wasnt expecting that, my money is on a WW2 bunker with a massive Bar xD Glad you guys are back
Hey Greg! I remember helping find and buy some of the stuff you showed at the renovation...I worked at the Home Depot Pro Area in Dtown. ZULU!!!
Your memory is good! I’m still stalking the Downingtown Depot every week!
This looks an absolute dream, incredible journey and love the fact there's a bar!
Yet again, another amazing video.. I can't wait for more. Keep up the great work!
So stoked to see y'all's new space! Also great fun to see the beginnings of the club and some of members as "yoofs"

GOOD TO SEE YOU GUYS Making content AGAIN !

A cruel tease ... and I can't wait to see it.
Superb! Great group you have. Our small group has limited space as well. The new barn is being eyeballed for a dedicated wargaming space.
This is awesome!!! I'm so excited to see what you guys do next! Keep it coming!!!!
A most excellent space. And that plunger is on point. Cheers!
Hah love that. Dieter made it to look like a Panzerfaust!

Great wee video guys. I love theses kind of videos where one gets to see the behind the scenes of folk's gamming spaces. Awesome !
this channel freaking rules
Great stuff, its like the perfect combination of American and UK gaming.
Thank you for the tour!
Looking forward to it.
Really cool video! I’m excited to see the new space too!
Excited for the release
I think you need to start all your videos with the Goblin voice "Greetings Wargamers!" Then "In this episode of Little wars TV"
Ha... no, no we don't... :)
Good to see you back! You ought to bring it back with the battle of kadesh
A most excellent idea and a battle a couple of us have talked about. No minis for it yet but we are discussing scale options.
Yyyyyyeeeeeeeessssssss. I’ve truly missed you guys!!!!!!!!!!
You guys forgot to show the room where Miles sits and schemes, secretly pulling the strings behind all the games.
Oz never pulls back that curtain!
@@LittleWarsTV it’s not a room, it’s a Lair and that’s a very important distinction
Oh man…I need more of the goblin voice. I love it

Yes! That’s where we film reviews and some mid game interviews against the brick wall!
lol, watching this video, and one of the old photos from the game store had my older brother in it.
Freaking brilliant. My new Mecca. 😂
Very very nice. With a massive tease at the end. 👍🏻
That is just an awesome space!
Gentlemen, you have a wonderful place and I envy you very much, but... I envy you this bar (even a small one) the most :D

I built that! We call it the Shitterfaust.
Can you tell me how old the original building is, what year was it built? Do you guy know what the building was used for in the past? So glad to see a new video from Little Wars!
We do know! Dates to the early 1800s and was a iron shop where they put shoes on horses!
@@LittleWarsTV The stonework in the basement is kind of a giveaway, and the narrowness of the stairs. What a great find! 😎👍

Awesome.
Open the door! Open the door!
Nice panzerfaust. I kept an M72 LAW rocket tube in my bathroom for awhile.
OH MY GOD you guys are such teases!!

Cool
The boys are back!
The anticipation of what is behind the door will have me losing sleep.
You won’t have to wait long!
GREETINGS ADVENTURERS! 😂😂😂
We heard that line every week at the Comic Store! Always in a goblin voice
I always suspected Greg was a secret millionaire. Buying your own building just for wargaming proves it!
Talk about a tease! We are already in summer. How much longer are you going to make us wait? 🤣
Until Historicon! So, not long!
Cracking stuff 😊👍
This is absolutely cool. Also..2014. When people could afford property!!!

Tough choice. More minis or buy a building? Now, let me think ..... 😄
*sniffles* It all happens so fast, 😭(*tears of joy)

Hell yea!
Cool!
And there was me thinking you were actually housed on an old plantation down south! 🙈Did I see Shogun/Samurai Swords/Ikusa? 😍👍
