Ha! That's me speaking in the Blood & Plunder tournament footage, on the right hand side with the beard. I didn't realize you were taking video or I wouldn't have talked to you after the clip. Thanks for the recap. It was a good convention, as always. I live locally, gaming out of Lazarus in Harrisburg - if anyone in the area wants to see more Blood & Plunder, stop in and ask for a demo!
@@SlyBlu7 oh my goodness, I’ve not graduated to the “talking to people on camera” stage yet - I typically just shoot a little video and then chat afterwards. Next time I would love to talk with you - it seemed like a very well supported tournament, and I was tempted to enter it myself!
@@chrisborucki7638 black powder is a strong option but I really want to give Valour and Fortitude a try. The Plancenoit game I played used modified Rebels and Patriots rules that I really enjoyed and offer a smaller game.
Historicon 2024 was a blast! My only regret is that I never checked out Wally's basement. My schedule was booked solid, and Wally's was always closed when I had free time. I also tried to focus my spending. The Badger and Things from the Basement booths got most of my money this year. I picked up a bunch of Baron's War and Feudal Japan minis, along with a couple of terrain pieces. There are so many tempting things in that vendor hall.
@@chriscouchoud I didn’t get much from Wally’s this time. There were a coupe of people selling off flames of war boxes but I resisted! Glad you picked up some Barons War stuff - what did you choose?
@@axisandaliens I picked up a bunch of outlaw units including Robin and the rest of his crew, archers, signalers, etc. I also grabbed some other odds and ends for fun - the Sheriff, King John, some monks and foot knights. I'm going to try and piece together another retinue from my Saga collection. I have lots of work to do.
@@axisandaliens Yeah, man! I'm looking forward to starting. I'm really digging all the plastics that WG is putting out for Baron's War. I have a couple boxes of their stuff that I repurposed for Saga. Their kits are always solid.
