ngl that makes sense, more so since they're a designed centric phone compnay, or at least that's how I perceive them I really wonder why they didn't borrow Apple's idea of giving stickers with products, they could have transparent stickers with holographic or shimmery designs for each product, that is similar to your idea of having a physical tangible collectible item, a different kind of vanity - you can stick it on things you like, college laptops are full of stickers haha
they do give stickers at launch events or similar occasions afaik, but imho our idea has way more potential. personally, I've never used the stickers I got from Apple products, and after the third time you see them, you don't even register their presence. cards intrinsically can be much more varied and interesting.
6:05 while I love the card concept I don’t think using the ndot font was a good idea, as nothing themselves have stated that it’s only ever good for headings, using a serif font or some other light font would enhance the readability in addition to highlighting some key aspects of the product. Still really great design 🎉
thanks! the serif font would work fine too, but in this case we went for the slightly compressed ndot variant, which is much more legible imho, I don't think it'd be an issue
Hi Carl, hope you are enjoying the video. See you here in the comment section

I fucking love this
I feel 100% the same
bro gave all this sauce away for free?!!
yeah nothing uses pokémon names as codenames for new products before they get unveiled.
What if when unboxing, people just throw the cards away thinking it as user manual/booklets?
That's a risk worth taking
@sgnoogle yeah also if they scan the card and get cool wallpapers or something
That's fucking amazing
