It wasn’t until I got to be in my 70’s, that I truly began to appreciate the many talents of this wonderful man!
    He was a national treasure.

Attended the re-internment ceremony for an unknown soldier at Franklin TN this weekend, where the period military band performed several beautiful songs. Except we were all confused when we recognized Love Me Tender. Thanks for this recording which I understand to be the original Civil War lyrics.

Would have been a great ceremony to attend there in the green, green state of TN.

Eddie was very versatile, and a great talent who could be cast in many roles. Few knew he could sing like this. We just do not have this kind of talent any more.

Beautiful! Sung with real depth and passion, as it should be! This is romantic love song at its best.

I thought it was great and I only noticed the background audio being off once. Nice job and thanks.

Love Me Tender by Elvis Presley.
My Tender is called Ukko Pekka. Hr1 class engine.
The Party's Over's grieving father - and the photographer in Roman Holiday and Green Acres and Roots Of Heaven Eddie Albert. Reporter photographer again. Aura Lea/Lee?
Come and Get it has it as the main sound track. Lotta Morgan and Lotta Bostrom Frances Farmer character. Whole Lotta Love.
