LED marquee and bulbs? Solar? Apply for the income based reduction that PG&E offers. All options available that Mr Zemrak can explore.

Regardless what others think, I think owning a theater is a wonderful dream. Sadly, the modern day problems has caught up to him.

Honestly this kinda makes sense I mean the price of movie tix have increased by over 50% since start of Covid and slate of mainstream Hollywood movies has been putrid recently.

      You're ridiculous
PG&E has a monopoly that burned down the Town of Paradise. How is this the fault of Newsome. You're projecting your political views onto this that has nothing to do with it

Get a generator. That's what most buildings have in Downtown areas of cities and no wonder skyscrapers doesn't go dark.

What a beautiful theater! It will take the entire communities effort to keep that place open. I'm not sure it's worth it. Cost will continue to rise.

Oh no. rich people won't be able to look a a sign for two days a week. Considering everything that is happening in the Bay Area, you care calling this news?

Yes. This is in fact news for an exceptionally rich city like SF.

@@armoredghost6180 Orinda is not SF, but I guess if you're a troll writing from a basement in Indiana, you wouldn't know that.

I feel kinda bad for those wealthy neighbors (with an average $3.8 million home in Orinda) voicing their pity on the loss of lights for part of the week @ the ONE culturally interesting thing in their entire enclave…

Tix are far too expensive to overcome weak Hollywood movies of 2024. Do people realize movie tix have increased by over 50% since start of COVID well now you do.

Sadly America is over 34.6 trillion in debt with 1 trillion added every 100 days, things will continue to get worse, way worse.

I left the land of fruits and nuts over 30 year ago but I spent a lot of time at the Orinda. Such a shame that CaliFAGnia is now a liberal cesspool.
