I did a In-Line fuse and inserted it onto the coil fuse that created a Accessory power and wired the halos to it so every time the car is on the halos will turn on. This makes the halos run as DRL’s

I would go on eBay and sort the listings by the highest ones first, then, I would scroll to the very last listing for 15’ headlights at the bottom. Wai Yan Hlaing Ok, I’ll break it down. 1. If your car has a halogen headlight harness setup, you will not have a ballast attached to your headlight. A ballast is just a resistor/regulator for higher output ohms that HID headlights put out. 2. If your vehicle has HID stock headlight setup, it will have a ballast attached to it. It will look like a square silver box on the side of your headlights. 3. If you mistakenly use an HID headlight and your car has a stock halogen headlight setup, you will damage the headlight and it will be unusable. 4. If you mistakenly use a halogen headlight and your car has a stock HID headlight setup, you will fry your wiring harness. *So what do you do?* -Make sure you have either a Halogen or HID headlight system for your car. -After you find out what type of headlight system you have for your car, purchase the headlights that match with the cars headlight system (HID goes with HID, etc.) -get the headlight wiring diagram for your vehicle, and don’t forget to get both driver and passenger side! -get a wiring diagram for a 15’ that has the same headlight setup as yours (HID or halogen). Yes I have a 2 ballasts on each side. But I don't think it's stock. Maybe the previous owner converted it to HID. And when I bought the car, it came with an extra set of Xenon HID headlight system. Theres no need fo the repair kit causing you to splice into your OEM wiring.....there is a harness kit from Mopar that converts from halogen to 2015+ halogen headlamps!

King Panther If the 2015 wiring harness you have comes with the connectors for the headlight, it’s a simple as cut, splice and soldiering the wires together. Just remember to get a wiring diagram for BOTH headlights! Each headlight uses different colors, so a diagram for just one side won’t work.
ese lowrider haven’t had too much time to play around with it. But, in theory, you could wire a switch to the amber lights or the white lights (or both) to a button. Then you can make a custom area on the dash for the button. Press it and boom, DRL lights.

The newer headlights are smaller and thinner, and with the old bumper on, they will look like the headlights have too much space all around. Kind of like a malnourished person with sunken in eyes. It won’t be a finish you’ll like. Give it a shot and see if you like it, though.

I think that the advantage that They have is that headlights are hide in front bumper. So you need to look closer to see that They don’t fit. Seriouis Diagrams will not be the same as some headlights on RT models have HID or a different halogen setup. What you would need to do is go to a Dodge dealer and ask the parts department rep for a printout of your headlight wiring diagram. They are going to ask for the VIN for your car so have that handy. Then, you need to see if you have a halogen setup or HID setup. Finally, you need to find a 2015+ model challenger with the same headlight setup as yours (HID or halogen), take a picture of the VIN for that car, go back to the parts department and give them the VIN for the 2015+ model you copied and ask them for the headlight wiring diagram. Go back home and compare the new and old diagrams and then you’ll know what wires need to be spliced together.

Ok so on the TAILIGHT video you said WIRE THE "FAULT WIRE" TO ANY OTHER WIRE. And on the HEADLIGHT video you said "DONT" let the "FAULT WIRE" TOUCH ANY OTHER WIRE...why the back but not the front?
iGullyboymike the back lights require less voltage to function. The front lights require more. If the fault wire touches any of the headlight wires it causes a drain to the required minimum amount of voltage. The tail lights don’t work the same way
jonathan mascoro they do if you pull the the high beam toggle backwards. But if you push the toggle forwards, they cut off. It’s probably just some difference in output and input power. Nothing major, in my opinion.
Patrick Ramsey oh ok well there is this guy that did the conversation but he went through a company named Retrofit Source to build him a custom made harness so he can just plug and play the new head lights to the old harness but it’s 400
jonathan mascoro Been sown that road when I initially started doing my research, I even called the shop. They won’t fabricate that custom harness anymore because of demand. You’re always welcome to try calling them but I doubt they will do it.

Wai Yan Hlaing it will fit. When you remove your old bumper, there will be a black piece under it that is attached to the car. Remove it before installing the 15’ bumper.

Small Soles Buy used ones off eBay. It will look more authentic.
Using the new headlights with the old bumper will have a gap and look funky. I wouldn’t recommend it...

Byron J The rest of the body is exactly the same as the newer models. I’ve successfully swapped out the rear and the front with the updated look with virtually no issues.

How did you wire the front side markers?
jonathan mascoro there’s only 2 wires. You need a 2015+ side marker wiring kit and all you need to do is splice the wiring kit to the wiring.
Ok so on the TAILIGHT video you said WIRE THE "FAULT WIRE" TO ANY OTHER WIRE.
And on the HEADLIGHT video you said "DONT" let the "FAULT WIRE" TOUCH ANY OTHER WIRE...why the back but not the front?
iGullyboymike the back lights require less voltage to function. The front lights require more. If the fault wire touches any of the headlight wires it causes a drain to the required minimum amount of voltage. The tail lights don’t work the same way

Yes. But headlights will require wiring.
So your high beams don’t work???
jonathan mascoro they do if you pull the the high beam toggle backwards. But if you push the toggle forwards, they cut off. It’s probably just some difference in output and input power. Nothing major, in my opinion.
Patrick Ramsey oh ok well there is this guy that did the conversation but he went through a company named Retrofit Source to build him a custom made harness so he can just plug and play the new head lights to the old harness but it’s 400
jonathan mascoro Been sown that road when I initially started doing my research, I even called the shop. They won’t fabricate that custom harness anymore because of demand. You’re always welcome to try calling them but I doubt they will do it.

Hey, so mine is also a 2011 3.5L V6. Will the 2015 SRT bumper fit in my car? I want to do that but I'm not very sure if it's gonna fit.
Wai Yan Hlaing it will fit. When you remove your old bumper, there will be a black piece under it that is attached to the car. Remove it before installing the 15’ bumper.
