My 2011 srt8 challenger has the proximity… that may be because it’s the first year of the 6.4L with push button start. Seems there are a few features 11 and up have that previous years didn’t have.
I just bought a 2011 challenger v6 and I’m gonna start my full conversion in a couple weeks. 392 motor and transmission. 2015+ interior (dash board, door panels, seats, center console, steering wheel) , and front and rear bumper, 392 suspension, etc. Already got all the parts. Except the bumpers.
@@SRT_DRE Wait, how are you going to do the dash? I want to upgrade the dash front part to how the new ones look with it being digital and stuff but can't find any reference on how this would be done. Wouldn't they have to rebuild the entire interior? I just finished watching videos on removing the boring stock radio to the digital one. Which would be a nice small upgrade, but I want that digital so bad Also want to do a nice wide body on it as well, then paint or wrap matte black. Change those ugly as well and maybe a supercharger engine? I really want to hear that whine but not sure if that would work or not. What do you think? I have the 2010 dodge challenger se
@@aguythatsrandom you have to pull the entire dashboard out and put the 2015 dashboard in. Also, you won’t be able to do it unless you got a 2015+ engine because all the wire harnesses have to connect to each other. Don’t quote me on that though. Basically if you wanna upgrade the dashboard to the 2015+ model, you gotta upgrade the ENTIRE car.
@@SRT_DRE Damn, so you will be updating your whole car then? At that point I would have to just take it to an autobody shop to get that all done as I wouldn't be able to really do that on my own
@@pacopichon9443 I have a 2009, I am trying to do it right now. I don’t understand why the original wire has 3: backup lamp, park lamp, and ground. But the new plug has 4: right rear side marker, left backup lamp, right backup lamp and ground
@@autolaunchgrowth I have a 2012 I figured out that the harness on my trunk the two in the middle of the harness are the reverse lights then the wires on both ends of the harness where for the daytime lights also remember how he said in his video 2009 doesn’t have the sensor for the trunk lid button
i have a sxt and i have a scatpack motor ready to swap but i wanted to ask is it possible to switch a sxt 2014 challenger gauge cluster and steering wheel Dashboard cover and center console to a 2020 scatpack ( i wanna change the 2014 dashbaord and screen and center console )
All this shows is how little dodge has changed in the last 15 years. Personally it doesnt matter to me, when I buy dodge I bought it for the powertrain.

Hey brother, I want to swap to the new rear bumper covers but keep the old taillights. Do you think this is possible? Do I need to buy a new taillight surround (black plastic) or is the old one compatible with the new bumper?
Check out the comments from others who had similar questions. You’re going to need wiring diagrams from your local dodge dealership for your car. Then, you need to get wiring diagrams and a vin # from a 2015+ challenger with a similar headlight setup.

@@MrTonedagreat make sure you get a wiring diagram for a newer challenger that has a halogen setup like yours. It doesn’t matter if your headlights are halogen or HID - the conversion works the same with both.
Hey great work I really really like this video because it answers a very important question regarding the fitment. I have a 2019 Hellcat and I am looking to change my 2019 taillights to the 2014 VLAND product with the sequential turn signals. Did you have any issues with flickering once you got it working since the new lights are full LED and your olds were not?
did you grab 2015= taillights and adapted them to your car? would it fit in the other bumper? im considering just buying stock tailights from the 2015 and put them in my 2013 without having to buy the special Vland ones.

Nope. I chose to keep the standard spindles on. Some of the big brake kits I’ve been looking at have adaptors for smaller spindles now. I’ll be fully upgrading down the road.
Does it only work with the key in or out of the ignition? I know RT models were built with certain features for future models like the soft pad button on the trunk seen in post 2011 models. But considering this, I opted to not use the new button.
I don't understand why u couldn't just show us what wires go where if we' are doing the same thing why do we need to thru all that if u know where the wires go?

What did you do with the harness in the rear bumper that connects to the deflectors and license plate light
i have an 09 i want to put the 15 bumper on and taillights whats all the wiring that had to be changed or etc

It’s possible, but will leave a gap. Best thing I can say is to try it. Removing the rear bumper will only take 20 minutes or so to check.
Maybe you should try a tail light conversion with the older model look. Conversions are better because of fitment unless you’re good with custom work.
Why did u change the trunk lid? Didn’t the 2010 trunk work ?

Yo does the 2015 front ends just fit right onto the older ones
Yes. You’d have to change out the shock absorber and metal defense bar to the 2015+ ones in order to get the bumper to sit right. Very doable

They'll hook up but there'll be a gap, you can buy a fitment piece that you can put in the gap.
