Steve anytime man. I was looking into purchasing a hood from the same company. Have you had any problems with it? I noticed that on the website that hoodpins are recommended because it’s not OEM. did you end up having to add hood pins or has it been fine just how it is?
@@phchallenger0941 no, I never added hood pins. I know they recommend it, but I didn't want the hassle. The hood moves a little at speed, but I'm assuming its because I don't have the corner bumpers on the radiator support tight against the hood while closed. If I do, the hood sticks up a bit. But no cracks or anything. It seems to be well made. But its not perfect. If you're really picky, I'd go factory hood. If I had to do it over again, I'd probably go factory.
A&k makes aftermarket tail lights for the 08-14 that look like the 15+ for $590 if you want it to completely look like a hellcat. Also your car looks great!

This is a very nice conversion kit you put on your srt, You should look into proformance chips for this SRT since superchager is not your thing... You can get more power out of it a lil back for your buck.👍

Even though the 6.1 hemis are damn good mills, it's not the same and is more than just throwing on a supercharger like so many people think. Otherwise why would they even bother developing an engine if it's just a matter of throwing on a part or two, and doesn't even make sense. My SRT8 is a 2010 and is a lot of fun to drive, even with the 6.1

I have been looking for someone recently who did it right an u did it right .. I went to ikon an was kinda scared to order it over fit concerns or missing parts ... but fuck it I’m gonna do it .
Eric Anderson that’s awesome Eric. Yeah icons customer service is slow to respond, and sketchy, but I did get my parts in about a week or two. The body shop guys said the grill and the bumper took some time to attach, they had to grind here, shave there a bit, but it all worked out.
Power Nation on TH-cam just took a 08-10 challenger SRT8 and rebuild the motor and got a performance trans, they managed to get over 600whp from the car.
Xavier Horace Yes you can. I have not done it yet, but I’ve seen a video where another guy did do it to his challenger. The only problem he had was wiring the new brake lights that come with the new bumper to work perfectly. I can’t remember the issue he had, but he had some sort of electrical issue when he did the install.
Xavier Horace yeah he did. He also needed the bumper cushion ( the piece between the cars rear frame, and the plastic bumper we are talking about) But the taillights are not plug and play. You’d need to do some wiring mods. I guess he couldn’t get all the lights to work correctly, but most did. I think it was the reverse lights that were giving him a problem.
De That’s a good question. I actually like my interior, but I’ve heard the swap can be done. I guess the center console is the easiest part. I would guess the dash and electronics would be very hard. Seats seem similar, and I’m sure door panels would be an easy swap, as the doors haven’t changed at all!
You could get a parts car swap all the interior parts and the wiring harnesses. Idk how hard it is, but my dad's friend already has a challenger exactly like that guys and he's trying to do an interior swap with a challenger and magnum.
TypicalFilms Hello! Yeah they say that, but you sure can! Only difference between the 2011 and 2015 is the front bumper cushion. It’s the plastic/foam piece in front of the front crash bar, and behind the plastic bumper. But you can buy one for 100.00 on eBay. The lower belly pan is different, but can make the 2011 work with new mounting screws. The yellow corner lights are different, but you can also get those on eBay. Maybe 40.00 or so. The head lights will work, but the mounts on the radiator support will need to be shaved 7/8”. Their is a guide on the web if you google it. Or you can upgrade to the 2015 lights. The wires won’t plug in correctly, but someone may make a kit to make them work. Aftermarket upgrades for the 2011 may work too. I’m happy with my old headlights. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Kevin Ruvalcaba I don’t think just the frot lip spoiler will work. The Hellcat front bumper is shaped WAY differently on the bottom compared to our stock front bumper. Sorry....
that's not a dumb question, I think as long as I got the hellcat airbox and somehow mounted it to my engine I could. But otherwise my current air box doesn't have the ram air feature for the headlights.

Mohamed Ahmed That’s a good question, I know you can do the exterior pretty easily, and I wouldn’t think the interior would be too bad until you got to the dashboard I’m not sure about the instrument cluster. I would assume all the wiring would be different from the instrument cluster between the two models. Let me know if you post videos about your transformation.

From my understanding you can. All new headlights will fit on the older cars. Wiring kits would need to be made, as they don’t plug and play. But I think on eBay you can buy the newer headlights that are made for this body style, and they will plug directly into this cars wiring harness. Many people have told me to upgrade, but I kinda like my lights.

KingPrize Well currently I think it would cost you $1,400 in parts now. That’s icon kit and hood. Hood painted is $350, or $150 to wrap. I think painting and install front bumper was like $800.
