Hey riders! Thanks for checking out the new video! Be sure to SMASH that like button for us. Although this wasn't really a tutorial, if you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask us and we will be glad to help! Oh, and who else out there changes their own bike tires?? :)
You can also use windex and it will evaporate so that the tire will not be as easy to spin in the rim if hard braking occurs, to help the valve stem from getting ripped of the tube, soap it is easier later on to get tire to spin on the rim before seating occurs.
Years ago I had a Honda CB125T2 twin carb. I travelled the length and breadth of the UK on it and had many side of the road punctures. Some were easy and straightforward and others were complete nightmares that took 3 days in one case in North Wales. But it was all part of the adventures and I was always on my own too. Great vid guys, keep up the good work......
I never changed a motorcycle tire before. I will make sure to buy all the tools you mention when I buy my KLR 650. Wish you had shown how to balance the tire though, Thanks.
Lol very entertaining! It's fun watching people work on their bikes after having owned a motorcycle shop for 30 years . Another great video! You guys are awesome. 👍🤘💪
I like the idea of you doing how-to's. I think it would be cool if you did some vids on fixing stuff that has broken on the trail (either on the spot fix or later back in the garage). I'd like to see them on the same channel. Playlists could be created or series or whatever, but I don't want to have to bounce around from one channel to another to another and get lost. I like one stop shopping. Mixing in product reviews would be a bonus. For me.
I am surprised you didn't ride it off the bead. Seems like something crazy you guys would do. I was looking forward to the struggle to get the last bit of tire on from the comfort of my living room. We can handle a little cursing. Extra large tire iron makes that part easier.
Hey dude love these videos. I just got a klr650 today, Traded a old rmx250 for it. It does not run and needs a lot of work. Engine turns over but Spark plug is not sparking. Hopefully an easy fix! Look forward to more videos. Cheers!
Iam in the shop Monday threw Friday but I still enjoy the shop videos!!! I just put a cheapy shinko 705 on my klr.... Not going to get 15k out of it tho. Lol!! How's your other bikes doing Jeremy??
I just got a nice ski-doo snowmobile and watching your videos are getting me pumped for winter! Anyways, awesome videos man. Especially your snowmobile exploring videos with your buddies cause the more the merrier right?
I was taught at MMI in Orlando how easy it was to use a pair of C Clamps to gain mechanical advantage for removing and installing a dirt style tire on a rim.
I like the idea of a review channel and have some suggestions now that I just watched your latest video. How about review whatever product you are going to use to fix Mike’s boot? You can also review various milk crates to see which one makes the best tail case and finally, which plastic bag is best to use as a waterproof phone case. I’m kidding and love your videos. Keep them coming.
We would like too know more about Travis an Mike. Much more about you. Since your videos or get much more views. Would you guys do a commercial if ask?
hey Jeremy ( mike & Travis) great tire change ,,my buddy brendo has a portable tire changer (made a video about it )I'll post you link haven't had to do this out on the trails YET,,(none of us carry spare tubes ,YET)lol,,man that would be a long push going to snow here anytime,,I took the summer off ,so now I'm job hunting (need money for new snowmachines) LOL going to send you some cool stuff here soon (alaska stuff) ride safe my motorcycle brothers,,liked (thumbs up X 1000000000)
the valve core removal tool in the plastic valve cap will easily deform and be useless. it is just the soft valve cap plastic. Carry a real valve core removal tool.
Mike in so naturally funny. Love it! Your skirt comment was hilarious, what have you been doing. Eating Chinese food lol. I watch because you guys are funny:)
I never balance tires on a bike, I own a 62fl and klr650. Never balanced them, and I've changed a lot of tires. Just line up the balance dot with valve stem

Jeremy Rhydes hi
Thanks for the video much appreciated.
Yea I dig it
So easy : ) I have a a KLR 650 and a royal enfield classic 500 and that tyre removal takes an hour and that's just to remove the wheel from the bike.
If you are struggling to break the bead by standing on the tire, put the tire underneath your side stand and lean the bike onto it. POP !!

so I'm new to changing my own tires. Did yall balance the tire? Is that extremely necessarry?
Very interested in any kind of reviews. Especially a K60 review. Been debating on those for a while.
Can you use tubes on a tubeless tire? I'm looking at getting a klr650
Yup. All my KLR tires have been tube type.
I am surprised you didn't ride it off the bead. Seems like something crazy you guys would do. I was looking forward to the struggle to get the last bit of tire on from the comfort of my living room. We can handle a little cursing. Extra large tire iron makes that part easier.

Would like to see more of this stuffs/tutorials for beginner to the pro way of doing.
Luv the DIY duct tape fix on the luggage rack. Duct tape, that sh..t fixes everything👍
Iam in the shop Monday threw Friday but I still enjoy the shop videos!!! I just put a cheapy shinko 705 on my klr.... Not going to get 15k out of it tho. Lol!! How's your other bikes doing Jeremy??
reviews and maint make great vids. Hint on the grease use Marine grease works best. Everyone likes to hear what works good and what doesn't.

I broke my head on my klr 650 by just driving the bike without a tube or any air ind it works like a charm

You should do another chanel super good idea
Yep, more videos on maintenance and milk create upgrades.
From stands to Tour Box.
We would like too know more about Travis an Mike. Much more about you. Since your videos or get much more views. Would you guys do a commercial if ask?
Ya, more on balancing the tire.
Great video! That looks like a stiff tire. I let them sit out in the sun for a bit before spooning them on.
mcycle12 I do this also, hot summer days. Then I will pump/deflate tube a few times to get out folds/ wrinkles 👍🏼.
What size is the rear wheel nut?
Said it was 1/2”
You should have shown tire balancing, some people think only a shop can balance tires
Very refreshing different not to see something about breakdowns
That tire has another 5k KMs left. Not a belt to be seen.
Do more of these videos 👍🏻next time use a anglegrinder to cut off the old tyre if you already had a new tube bought woulda saved a bit of hardship :)
hey Jeremy ( mike & Travis)
great tire change ,,my buddy brendo has a portable tire changer (made a video about it )I'll post you link
haven't had to do this out on the trails YET,,(none of us carry spare tubes ,YET)lol,,man that would be a long push
going to snow here anytime,,I took the summer off ,so now I'm job hunting (need money for new snowmachines) LOL

Carry a real valve core removal tool.
You should get a supermoto like on the videos. With the road tires and stuff
Oh yeah! I'd love to get one!!
Came here because of the thumbnail 😂😂😂😂
Great vid! Look forward to the snowmobile prepping vids and unboxing vids! By the way Mike has a tree growing from the front of his boots...😂
Mike in so naturally funny. Love it! Your skirt comment was hilarious, what have you been doing. Eating Chinese food lol. I watch because you guys are funny:)
I'm not sure what that is on that hammer but I don't think that is welding. :-)
To steal a line from an original Star Trek Episode.... "with stone knives and bearskins" comes to mind.... : )
You guys need some wrenches so you don't round everything!
I'm just gonna take a saw and cut my tire in half to get the old tire off the rim
I would have like to seen how you balanced the tire. I enjoy your channel. I like the idea of gear reviews and how-to's.
I never balance tires on a bike, I own a 62fl and klr650. Never balanced them, and I've changed a lot of tires. Just line up the balance dot with valve stem
Holey hope you dont busd it
It should just be a “watch me and my friends hang out while dude changes tire” video. Not very instructive
that wasfun and informative from some colorful charactors
Yes I dig it
