Absolutely every time I read Quran that's what I understood that really God gives women a special place... Who doesn't want to understand that because either blind or deaf or doesn't understand)
Makes me realize why I have had so much depression leaving my son's behind while I work. I have a supportive husband now and my fear is based on in my first marriage, I became widowed and had to work to sustain us, but now I am realizing if I now have a husband who has made a commitment to us why can't I just try to trust and have faith and stay home and care for my son's.
+h Not sure what you are referring to, but keep in mind that he gets wiser daily, insha' Allah, and has said that he does NOT believe today many things he said in the past. Look for the grey ;)
How are they sexist views? the answers do seem incomplete in that he talks about the importance of the mother nurturing her children but doesnt talk about other roles such as doctors that are also needed in society, but as already mentioned, he does become wiser with age. They arent actually sexist tho. nurturing children well is vital for the family and the whole of society so its not sexist to emphasise the importance of the role. but i do find it annoying when people often talk about that as being insignificant.
spoke beautifully......God bless you Shaykh Hamza Yusuf....

How is it sexist ? These roles for men and women are from sharia. If you are a muslim, you should be careful and fear Allah
Exactly which comments seemed sexist to you? I would like to know because to me everything made perfect sense
