This guitar was great. Just be sure to thoroughly check out the pickups when you get one. Mine had pickup issues but otherwise it was perfect. Probably just crap luck on my part.
I looked at one of these at Guitar Center earlier this week but opted out.. on both the 6 and 7 string they had in stock, the high e string was so close to the edge of the fretboard that it consistently slipped off the side of the frets. Is yours properly aligned?
@@efxloopjaybyrne Thanks, that's strike two for them lol. I opted out and just bought a US made Music Man instead. I have friends that swear by them, so I decided to give a used jp6 a try. Shows up this week. I can't wait.
I thought all the Sterlings had serial numbers on the bolt on neck plate so you can check and make sure it's not a copy. Anyway, cheers for the info, waiting on mine to get delivered.
I have the EB MMJP6. I have had a few Sterling JPs also. The JP100D was horrible. I had an OLP JP that played better. Worst neck I ever played on a Sterling. My 2010s JP60 is flawless. Great fret work. Still one of my favorite guitars.
I bought one recently. I swapped the tuners. Will be changing out the nut and bridge. I like the cosmo black gotch 510T LS1. Would you know if it would fit? Anyway great review.
Not sure. From what I read I don’t think there are any drop in replacements available due to size. You may have to ream the hole. Sorry I can’t be of more help. I loved the guitar but I returned it cause the wiring was messed up on my pickups and it was still within its return period. Honestly it was probably just a loose wire on the pickups.
God Loves You🙏🏻❤️

Don’t have it anymore the pickups died after about a week. So I returned it.
